    We've had nothing but repeated phone outages since Brightspeed took over our phone systems. They are absolutely the worst phone company on the planet. Our phone is down anywhere from 7-21 days at a time, with no deduction on the bill, the technicians don't come with they say they'll come, no one contacts us to let us know they're not coming, If you can avoid Brightspeed, do yourself a huge favor, and get phone service with anyone else, ****, two tin cans and string work better than Brightspeed.

    Sorry service we have been having problems since September ******* . We have called and explained the problem we were completely out of phone service and internet for over a month. they finally come and run a temporary line on the ground and everytime it rains the phone has so much static on it you can't use it. It took multiple calls to them to get them to come out and do this. We would have a work order and they would say we canceled the order when we didn't. Then we had a work order on November 11, 2024 to hang the permanent line. Two tech guys came out and said they didn't know nothing about hanging no line. When we asked why were they here then, they said because you called us. They left didn't do anything a few minutes later I got a text that said work order completed. I am ready to switch . I have been with century link for 30 years but when bright speed bought them out , this is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

    Worst service ever. Slow internet speeds. Constantly poor service. It goes out nearly every storm. When I realized my cell phone worked better on **** then there home phone service. I called them to cancel the phone service. Long story short. They canceled everything on me and informed me they no longer offer service in my area.

    Wish I could give less of a star rating. This business charges for services not provided which may be illegal? My service was disconnected on 10/11/2024 and I was charged for entire billing period (10/07/2024-11/07/2024). Reason for disconnection: several outages (again service not provided), horrible customer service and slow internet speeds. I would not recommend this company unless it is absolutely your last option. At least when it was CentryLink, the customer service was great and not sourced overseas.

    Schedule 6 times to come out. Nothing On the web site the work was completed. On Oct,12-15 and the 28th.Funny no one shown up. This is the 6 the time. And they are billing me. For a service I don't have. 2.5 hours on the phone. And nothing.**** show. I even talk to a local installer. Took my number. And still crickets. What a s*** show

    Brightspeed sent a technician out to my house to set up wifi. Both technicians showed up with no uniform, no badge, and unmarked vehicles. When I asked for their identification, they refused 3 times before showing me something on their phone screen. When I let them in they were not very kind and I warned them I had mean dogs behind the neighboring door they were working in. They didnt touch anything with my wifi, told me it was fine, and left. As a single woman, that was dangerous! The workers did not take the report seriously and refused to let me speak to management about the unsafe situation.

    All customers within a mile of me have had no internet or landline phones since they suddenly stopped working Thursday evening 10/24/24. We have all spent several hours each on the phone with them only to be told there is no outage in our area and when repair appointments are set up they never show up. I had a repair order set up for tomorrow but received a text yesterday that they were in the area and would be there soon, only to have another text to follow saying there is an area outage and my ticket on hold. Still not working for anyone so called today and was told no outage everything was resolved yesterday. Nothing was resolved and still no one has service.

    This is the worst internet service around!!! They are always experiencing technical difficulties or outages in my area and this is a monthly thing. Last month it was down for 4 days. And they dont even want to give a credit to your bill either. And they know you can get internet anywhere else when you live out in the country so they have you right where they want you and can treat you and give you the crappy service that they want and you continue to pay the high price for SLOW crappy internet.. and it sure isnt worth the $70 a month I pay. I want to get rid of dish and stream my TV but you have to have dependable internet service.. which Brightspeed is NOT!!!! So thats just another bill to pay.. Brightspeed get it together.. and quit saying fiber optic is coming this way when in all reality its not EVER coming to our area!!!! I wouldnt even give them a 1 star but have to to be able to post a review.. for the past 2 years of having this service.. you get 0 stars as a provider and customer service is horrible!

    I agree with so many of the reviews already posted. If I could leave zero stars, I would. Ever since I agreed to have my phone and internet upgraded to their fiber service, I have had nothing but problems. Every time I call customer service, I get the run around and transferred again and again. And everytime they transfer you, you have to spend the first five minutes retelling your story and reverifying all of your account information just to have them tell you you're talking to the wrong **** and get transferred again. And asking for a supervisor is fruitless, they are just as clueless. I have never dealt with such an incompetent company from top to bottom.
