    Worst experience with any company ever. Spent an hour trying to get a landline for my dad at a Veterans Home. Charging ridiculous rates and customer service is nonexistent. Everyone I spoke with struggles with English. Made me give my social security number over the phone. Did not have a choice as no one else provides services in this area. Still waiting on them and it has officially been one hour.

    Called Brightspeed to get internet. Paid $160 for deposit and 1st months bill. They made me appt. Technician never showed up called again set up another appt. 2 more times . They call me back and tells me I can't get it where I live. Why didnt you tell me that when i called to get service???Gave me the run around, and lied to me several times about my deposit. Still have not recieved it This happened in April. Told me I woukd get my deposit back would take 3-5 bussiness days 3 weeks later I called again. Then they tell me they would have to mail me a ck would take 30 days to get it . Still no ck called today the customer service *** said oh it will be back in your acct today. Still isn't there. They lied, they are crooks. Do not do business with them. I am giving them until tm if it isn't back in my account, I will take them to small claims court. Dishonest, no integrity. No way to run a bussiness! ***

    Was lied to from the very gift about Services received was told I would also have a home phone since a phone **** had to be installed I've had very slow speeds and I have not had service more than I have had service. Countless hours with tech support on the phone and technicians out here three times

    Brightspeed has terrible customer service, website, and billing procedures. In 2025, they changed their website. Now, it is impossible for me to pay my bill every month like I used to be able to do on-line. I only receive error messages telling me about the new online experience. However, it does not have my billing information.I set up AutoPay, but they charged the wrong account even though their website clearly shows the correct account to charge. They wound up double charging me, including a charge to a bank account that had no funds....which triggered an overdraft problem.Then, when I phone in for any customer service issue to try and resolve the billing problems, I am badgered into an upsell of services that I do not want or need. The offshore call center operators are not easy to understand either. I dread calling Brightspeed for customer service.Please....Do Better!!!

    Salesman stopped me in my driveway while I was checking my mail. He was extremely pushy and couldn't take a hint to leave me alone. I had just got off work and didnt care for a 15 minute circular conversation were he wont take no for an answer. Pretty blatantly lied to me trying to be relatable with the small talk questions he had.

    I was renting a place in *****, ** with limited access to ***************** Despite some of the horrible reviews here, I had no issues getting my *** line (phone) setup to work with the *** modem they provided. Service was done on time and provided reasonable speeds for a *** line.A year later I tried to cancel my account, as I was moving. They made this process nearly impossible. 5 months later, I am still receiving bills from them for strange amounts. The last was for $4.87 by email. I still get late notices that I have not paid my monthly amount of $72.99. It is clear that their billing process is not setup to manage these things properly. I feel for the people that have to work in their billing department. It has been extremely frustrating trying to cancel as a customer.

    My service has been out twice in the last month , for a total of 17 days if not longer , as its still not on . Service call appts are not kept , when they do come out they cant seem to find a problem . It took my less than a minute to find a problem and point out to them that the line is cut . Still havent fixed it !

    This business has no one within our town, county, or state to talk to for help. The two buildings with Brightspeed signs on them do not appear to have humans in them. These Brightspeed offices do not show up on a maps search for businesses.Their app and internet tools and overseas call centers have word for word copy and paste solutions that lead into cycles without resolution. I spent over an hour in chat conversations and 30 minutes in a phone conversation with no resolution or confidence.This business is generating income with existing infrastructure without a real commitment to the future for existing customers. They might be expanding their service area in the states, but they do nothing for our ancient, loose and deteriorating lines. June 3 I placed an order for a service technician and I am looking forward to my appointment on July 25th. Very frustrating to have the same phrases said to me with no real solution.

    Took over ***********. Lost my voip number and long wait times for repairs especially small business. This company is a joke!!!
