    I have tried for months to cancel service and they continue to charge me for a land line that I no longer have. I have tried for more than 3 months to get a refund that I have and have been unable to get. They take payment each month for the landline that I do not have and take the payment from the refund that I should be getting. When I did have internet it was out of service more than I had it. The equipment the they were using was outdated. They refused to install new equipment so I had to cancelled and got a different internet company.

    They are terrible! Scheduled install 3 weeks beforehand. Scheduled for 5/29 between 1 and 5pm. No call, no show, no nothing! App stated technician was to be here at 1pm. NOT! Called customer service after the 5 pm timeline. **************** is located in the ***********, and they have no clue as to what is going on in the ***. There is no availability to speak directly with local installation dispatch, you HAVE to deal with the Philippines call center. Said next appointment they could schedule was 6/4. Told them this was unacceptable. Did not matter that they could not fulfill their obligation, just placed in the que and they will try again. Was on phone over 2.0 hours trying to get it resolved, as this is a rental house and we live 4 hours away. 2 hours later got text message that appointment had been rescheduled for 6/4! As a side note, during installation of the fiber optic cable, the construction crew severed the line to current provider. Had no internet for 3 days. They could not repair it, I had to call current provider and make the arrangements to have it fixed. Since it's not been installed yet, I think it's time to cancel and run away.

    Bright speed has bad public relations . i called them after they called me many times. How ever i decide to go with the new fiber optic they just ran. I was given the sales pitch and was told i needed a credit card #. I don't like give in that out much. Reluctant i did, I told the *** that i did not want this card to go to AUTO PAY! . I was told we could correct it if it happened. NO I AM STUCK IN AUTO PAY! I wanted to keep my land line for emergency thus my bill went higher and was never told that if the power was out it was useless, The technician installing gave me that info. All these corporations are stuck auto pay to make more $$. I have called them and have been passed around to be hung up on , i have e-mailed them to no results on one e-mail i was told to give my phone # and a time to be contacted, that same day i got a ***ly that was going to be out of office conveniently. When i do get a response it a auto pay deal only! When i find something else i am done with there greedy company. BUYER BEWARE

    Their service is very slow. There repair technicians are 6 weeks behind. Their repair people lied 3 different times when I was trying to get my internet repaired. No business should be allowed to operate like this, especially when there is no competition in my area.

    To preface, we had been loyal customers since 1999 with the same phone number. No longer. On 5/9/25, we woke up to no telephone service and incoming calls getting a busy signal. After working with an online chat CSR, a repair ticket was opened for 5/16/25. During the intervening time, confirmation emails and voicemails were received. Although scheduled to leave for my daughter's baby shower in another state directly after work, I took a day off of work and postponed leaving until evening. On the day of the scheduled repair, had not been contacted by 12:30 pm, so CS was contacted. After escalating to a supervisor, I was informed the line had been checked and would need a specialized technician and the repair ticket had been rescheduled for 6/4/25 in their system. At no time had I been contacted or informed that there had been a schedule change. The supervisor was able to at least change the new date to 5/27/25. Again, I took a day off of work. Confirmation voicemails and emails received throughout the intervening time. Technician arrived at approximately 9 am. I let him know we were home, should he need access. I saw him working on the outside junction box. He left without speaking and I received a text less than an hour later saying the repair had been completed. Still no dial tone and incoming calls getting busy signal. Contacted CS again, and was told technician had been paged to return. At 5:10, after hearing nothing, contacted CS and was told repair ticket had been closed and they could only open and schedule another repair ticket for 6/5/25. I told them to contact me by noon the next day with an acceptable alternative. They called, but offered nothing different. At that point, I was done and cancelled my service. I have never seen such shoddy, unprofessional, non-communicative customer service in my life, especially for such basic infrastructure. I'll set up 2 tin cans and a string before using any of this company's services.

    If I could give this company a BIG 0, I would. Three weeks without phone or internet service is unacceptable. Their call center agents will disconnect you when you ask to escalate to their supervisor. No follow up. Their AI agent is useless. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

    Brightspeed has been the worst service and customer service I have ever experienced. Repeated outages and they fight you when requesting a bill credit. Twice, I have gone through the chat for help and been told that a tech would be sent out but one was never scheduled. Both times this happened Brightspeed tried to say that there was no ticket, like I imagined the previous chat. Stay away from this company!! I unfortunately, have no other option for internet service in my area.

    **************** is terrible! The internet service works when it works...when you have issues, you cannot reach anyone for assistance. **************** is only available during business hours unless you want to chat online with someone which is difficult to do if your internet is not working. You have to be your own tech support and it takes longer than an hour to resolve the issue on your own. When you call during business hours, you get transferred from person to person. I called to disconnect my parents' account because they both passed away and kept getting the run around because I was not "authorized" on their account. Good luck explaining that no one authorized on the account was living. So glad I no longer have to deal with this company.

    BrightSpeed offers false advertising I was promised hundred dollar gift card for signing up that was May 6 would’ve been 60 days. I still haven’t got it. I’ve been fighting them ever since and I’m getting excuse of excuse. I don’t wannal give me hundred dollar gift card. I want to I want my gift card This company should be sued. They’re rude their lies thank you.

    Ive had Brightspeed for a while with minimal problems. My internet went out on Sunday May 19. I called customer service on May 20 to report my internet was out. We went through steps to see if they could get started again. So I was informed that a repair technician would have to be sent out. Then I was told the next available day would be June 11. I explained that I do some work from home that requires the internet and use it to watch tv. I have called back to see if an earlier date had opened up. It had not. Im losing money the longer my internet service is down. June 11 is over three weeks out for repair service.
