    This company's customer service is horrible. I spoke to several agents that were unknowledgeable, regarding there job duties. Some lady named ****** even tried to belittle me, because I received public assistance for internet services. This company shouldn't be in business.

    Brightspeed has the worst customer service I have ever seen. For some unknown reason, they disconnected my 83 year old father's landline and a month later they assigned him a new number without telling him. He had that original number for 40 years. We called them 19 times, no exaggeration. They put us through countless phone agents, promises to fix, and service technician appointments. They delivered on day 63 of phone calls. I would drop their service in a minute if we had an alternative. I feel angry and violated.

    I am experiencing an outage right now as I write this. This makes the 6th outage in 4 months since the took over my ******************** It's been pure h*** My entire household down to my security system operates through my wi-fi. To have it go down every month with no excuse or explanation is unacceptable. I don't understand how this company is still in business.

    My mother had nothing but trouble with them after they took over Centery Link which she had trouble with to. In the past year she had problems with her landline phone. I went around and around with them cause she is 84. They didn't care called the **** on them and when it was Centery Link also turned them in to the BBB. Kept raising her bill just for a landline nothing else. Sent her a bill for the last week in ******* saying she owed for ******* and February and her bill wasn't due till ******* 22nd and wanted her to pay $148.00 which included a late fee with it. Well she was fed up and told them she was going to have it taken out which they shut it off yesterday didn't even wait till the 22nd and tried saying she would have to pay $60 some more dollars and she isn't going to pay them a dime more period. That company needs investigated period. Poor phone service but they still want you to pay them. Where her bill came from was ********* and they are crooks period. Like I said I as her daughter went round and round with them. You can't get anywhere with the people you talk to. And my mom has had her landline at her home since we had moved there in the early seventies. Pitiful that they treat the elderly or anyone they way that they have. And she really needed her landline but was fed up with them and so am I. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone period. In my book they deserve 0 stars period. She lives outside of ******************** and like I said they need investigated worst ever customer service. To bad for my 84 mother having to put up with this c*** I don't have this bad of service where I live. By looking at there reviews I can see so many complaints wonder why??? **************

    We have our internet service with this company and it is the worst company we have ever dealt with. We have had trouble with out internet for the past 3 months. They finally sent us a new modem and it still not working. We set up an appointment to have someone to come to the house and had to take off work for this appointment. They decided to send someone a day early and they said they couldnt find anything wrong with the hook up outside the home so they closed the ticket. The email my husband received said if we are experiencing problems they will still send someone on the original date. No one showed up and when we finally got ahold of someone they said we need to schedule a new date since for some reason it shows on their end that our internet isnt working. My husband works out of town and with my profession taking off is extremely difficult. Please stay away from this company, its worthless!!!!!!

    I paid for 40 megs and when the tech came i was advised they lied.. They only offered 6 megs in my area. I have waited for over a month and a half for service. The tech was very patient and waited while i called in .. 6 calls.. He waited through each call and saw first hand how HORRIBLE THE OUTSOURCED CUSTOMER CARE WAS. They hung up and even when speaking to a " SUPERVISOR" I still received very *********************** 5 calls to get service cancelled is unacceptable but more than that.. Upselling Unavailable product / service is even more unacceptable. ************* DOES NOT CARE.. THEY WILL TELL YOU YOU ARE UNRULY OR EVEN HAVE ANIMOSITY WHILE ON THE CALL. THEY DO NOT LISTEN TO WHAT ONE IS SAYING .. ONLY WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO LISTEN TO. I am not the one Brightspeed. YOUR NEW NAME DOES NOT CHANGE THE OLD HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU PROVIDE.. ONCE CENTRYLINK. They need to actually learn what Quality customer service truly means.. And it doesnt mean 6 calls in and 7 stuck on stupid reps saying yes theu will cancel the acct even tho they actually have to send you to a new **** for that or tell you that " THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO?"

    The internet service has been awful, customer service employees unable to even tell you the business hours to call them, or time zone they are located in to figure out how late they are open, its a struggle to even understand what they are saying. The internet service is much worse than Century Link and than offered for us to purchase additional service on top of what we already have which would cost almost $120 dollars, ya Im thinking not, the payment system is completely dysfunctional and unable to pay online with their online website system they show optional, it has so far been a complete c*** show !!

    brightspeed internet service is horribly intermittent. have called multiple times and technicians have come out and found something wrong with they're equipment each time. AND I STILL GET INTERNET FREQUENTLY DROPPED REDICULOUS. This is basically the only internet service available in this area

    Brightspeed is unresponsive to and does not document customer contacts re concerns. I cancelled my landline and WiFi bundled account. . 3 months later they continued to bill me for the entire bundle despite my having returned their modem in the labeled box they provided upon my notifying them of the cancellation. They spent 3 months denying the services had been cancelled and denying any knowledge of my written and phone contacts trying to remedy the situation. I attempted to pay the disputed bill by direct bank payment, they claim the bank refused the payment. The bank denies this happened. I attempted to then pay with the requested postal money order which they claim they never received. Tracking the money order, it was identified as invalid (but the payment for it was deducted from my account). The post office said it could only have been determined invalid if an attempt to cash it had been made.They continue to bill me. I contacted my satellite TV provider about paying them directly. They informed me they cannot accept my payment until Brightspeed. Brightspeed continues to bill me. This company borders on a criminal enterprise.

    6hours on the phone only to be told I need a new modem. $200 later, same issue. Now I am told it is not their issue. Problem Started the day we got the notification from Centurylink that we were now Brightspeed. 13 years with centurylink and not an issue. We now have no internet, no ******** no computer.
