    This company sucks! I have a desk top computer. My Centurylink internet I had was fine.When they sold out, my internet is awful now. It's like I'm on dial up. Pages are super slow to load, can't see pictures I post online or others pics as well. Never had this problem til they changed back in Nov. 2022. Tell me I have to buy their modem for $200! Or I can rent it for $15/mo. I am looking for another provider as they don't seem to care about anything but the almighty dollar.

    Brightspeexd is terrible first they took away my Macafee Anti virus that they provide. Then I was unable to log in to my account. After many attempts for online help and being sent from Brightseed ******* **** and back again still no resolve. They have no idea how to run a company.

    This has been going on for a while. We have had phone and internet outage with no notice. As I am writing this review, we have been out of internet service for over 24 hours. We are limited on how we get phone and internet. We live in a rural area and even cell phone service is weak. If you have other options on phone and internet, you need to drop Brightspeed. I would have thought that a company taking over would be better, that is not the case. I may even file a complaint with our attorney general. With all these outages, we should get a discount on our bill.

    I've had *********** for 7 years and it worked great with very few outages. It was like a dream come true after dealing with *******. I noticed slower internet around the time bright speed took over December2022/January2023. Now my service goes offline maybe 20 to 30 times during the day while I'm awake. As much as I can't stand Comcast I'm stuck having to consider using them again if this continues for another few days.

    There based out of *************** And take your money out of your account. 3 times I called and was toled 45 days to get my money back . I never gave cintrylink permission to sell my infermashon. I was not given the opportunity to continue service with a new company. I think it's crazy my information was soled like that .. my ss and bank information just out the in ***************... mad sad and upset.

    They replaced the service from CenturyLink and I have not had consistent service from the beginning of the takeover. I purchased a new modem as advise for $200.00 and still cannot receive service. After countless hours on the phone, a technician was scheduled to come out, who never showed up or called to cancel.

    This is the worst internet I've ever had I already didn't like century link i have brightspeed even more. The service is terrible and trying to get ahold of anyone is impossible. I cant log into my account to even pay a bill which they are now saying is late. All because THEIR system wont work. I wish I could go with another provider but unfortunately there is bot other provider for my area. Ever since they switched us from century link it has been nothing but problems! It stops working while im using it constantly. I cant pay my bill at all because its afterhours and there is no one at the call center. When you go online and they cant pull up the account they give you the number to call which leads you to nothing bur the phone hanging up in your face.

    Hands down worst "service" provider available. we were completely happy with CenturyLink, but then we were switched to this pathetic excuse for a company. the service and customer service line are a disaster and then some. It takes 8 minutes to get a snooty person on the line who has NO interest in assisting you or gives you the run around. I made an appointment for a technician to come out, it was for today. I get a text this morning stating my new appointment is now 8 days away! I called the company, was told the same thing. I stated I confirmed my appointment for today and I changed everything around to make that happen. I was told a technician will be coming out now since I already had the appointment. Great! I was told I would receive a phone call when they were on their way. I hadn't heard anything for 7 hours, I called back in, and I got a lovely individual who did absolutely nothing but tell me they have no record of anything except for the appointment for the 10th now, then she would mute the call. whenever I would speak, she wouldn't respond with anything other than when my appointment was. we had a huge snowstorm and out phone went out as well as internet and electric. everything came back on 2 days later, except the home phone. it has been 8 days now, and nothing has been resolved.

    If I could leave less stars I would. Been trying to have my internet hooked up since DEC 20TH and STILL have not had my things connected. EVERY single time we've called has been a different, excuse, fee and price from a different person we talked too. It's been well over a month and after 3 tech visits I've had internet for a total of 2 days. COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED.

    I informed Brightspeed about loss of internet in December. The first few times I called Technical Support they informed me I had two many items operating on internet service, Reduced the number of items operating. Had no issue with the same items operating in November. Kept calling with issues. Then Brightspeed Technical Support informed me the issue was with my old modem. They tried to sell me a new modem. I called Brightspeed several times and they informed me the issue was with with my modem. Finally in January Brightspeed Technical support admitted they had a cable issue. Each time I called Brightspeed Technical Support I was informed the issue would be resolved by 5pm the next day. This went on for several weeks. I spoke with a local Brightspeed Representative on January 30, 2023 and was informed Brightspeed was still working on getting a Contractor to work on issue. I informed Brightspeed Technical Support that contractor had not started work on issue. Brightspeed Technical Support keeps reporting that the issue will be resolved in 24 hours. I called Brightspeed Customer Support. The individual I spoke to informed me that their supervisor would look into the issue and call me back. I never received a call from the suppervisor. February 1, 2023 still no iternet.
