    Internet outage for past 2 weeks. Cannot schedule a technician if Internet is out. Continuously get hung up on by their employees. 3 week minimum to get a technician and then ticket can't be found for date. No recourse. Restore dates are incorrect.

    Brightspeed is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The customer service is terrible. Representatives read from a script and no clue what is going on in the company. They are likely overseas workers that are contracted out to act as customer service reps. ** I could give them negative stars I would. I would highly recommend anyone to stay away from this company at all costs. No shows for installs, and random internet outages happen frequently with no explanation.

    If I could leave LESS than 1 star, I would. We sent back a router - they say they never got it and billed us for it. Terrible phone service, and NO WAY to get help. **************** is non-existant. After we closed out acct and went with another server, they are still calling us with late fees. Stay Away!!

    We have not had land line phone service for over 3 weeks. After many calls and emails, and several "service calls", we still have no phone. Cell phones don't work well in my area , so our land line is our only source for emergency calls. The "service calls" consisted of someone patching in to our phone , and telling us that they're working on it. They never come to our home. As soon as they hang up, our phone goes dead again. We are an elderly couple living alone, and rely on dependable service. Unfortunately, we use them for internet, so we can't cancel our service with them until we find another one that serves our area. I will never use Brightspeed again, and will be very relieved when we can find a new provider.

    BRIGHTSPEED cashed months of our cks and disconnected our service for non-payment??? We have spoken to over 7 people, spent hours on the phone, and we have tangible proof to show we owe nothing! We have paid a month ahead. Brightspeed cashed all the checks, (doubling the amounts on some), and they are trying to say without more $$ they will not turn our internet back on??!!! We owe them 0 $ and they are trying to blackmail us. The one gentleman told us they lied to us and NEVER turned in an investigation ticket (even though they gave us a number), on their end to find the problem of the missing ALREADY CASHED, checks. We will be turning them into the ***. Someone needs to help this so-called-company or at least they should change their nameThey are not Brightand the speed in which you get helpAbsolute stand still?!! ********!

    Brightspeed is horrible. I have a elderly mother that has congestive heart failure. The service provided is home phone and internet, it goes out for long periods of time. We put in 6 repair tickets and the matter still isn't resolved!!! We pay for a service and they're not providing what they are advertising. In a emergency how is my elderly mothers supposed to get help!!! This is elderly abuse. I have asked for credit, I nicely asked for a solution. I have a manager's direct number and he doesn't answer!!! Help would be nice.

    They do not care about u and none of them speak English and they are charging us but havent received a new modem and last Friday are modem caught on fire . Praise God it didnt burn down our whole house. Ive called repeatedly and recorded every phone calls and texts and they say now we never talked . Do they not know their is phone records and my recordings of the conversation. I would recommend everyone going to an American ran business with American working people who can understand. Theyre rude and unapologetic.

    I cancelled my account after months of unsatisfied service. I have a credit of $40.47 that needs to be refunded to me. After numerous calls, I'm still waiting for my check. I'm on hold right now. No wonder people leave this company.

    The amount of time someone has to be on hold is well over an hour when you contact customer service. The service representatives will make you walk through many steps in you are having modem issues even though you have already done these steps with several representatives. The attitude of the representative on the phone is less than inspiring or promising. Each answer given is there is an outage in your area. My question is, if there is always an outage in my area would that be a reason to improve the services to the customers. When speaking with customer service who is not helpful at all customer service also is the only group to make a complaint. This explains why services are not improving at Bright speed. My biggest complaint is I had finally been able to get on the technicians schedule after a week of trying and to find out the evening before that the system had cancelled my technician appointment without letting me know. I took off my day of work to wait for a service representative losing pay for the day. I ask if this is right? Bright speed is not running an efficient business and seems to be very inconsiderate to the feelings of the customers.

    Was in the hospital. Paid my bill late. Received a bill stating I owed 2 months. Tried to contact "customer service". Got someone who did not understand English Transferred me to another "supervisor". He did not understand English. Hung the phone up because I REFUSE to give what should be private information to a foreign national posing as "customer service". Hung up because I could not talk to someone who has English as a first language. Received a call from a woman who also did not understand English, she kept trying to tell me that she could "solve my problem". I REFUSED several times to allow her to access my account. So, here I sit still unresolved because I cannot speak to a USA representative. They claim they have no way to transfer to the ***.
