    HOW is it that there are nothing but unhappy customers and numerous complaints against ****************** and ******************** gives them an A+? I won't bother with BBB again. When you try to defend the indefensible, you make yourself look silly and you lose your credibility. See ya, BBB.

    Brightspeed service SUCKS! Today is Wednesday, March *******. My internet service can't be reset remotely. They gave me a service appointment 19 days from now!! I bet if I ordered new service they would have me on by Friday March 28, 2025.

    They shut my sevice off for no reason. Theres a message on my account that says services canceled. They had the option to withdraw money from my account but canceled service. Its says i have 30 days to return equipment now. Or $200 fee will be put onto my account.

    Worst customer service of any company that I have ever delt with. My company has been without phone service since 3/5/25. I have had the same phone number since 2008 and they tell me that another company has my number. I am not sure if they can't fix it or just don't want to at this point. We are in a rural area and don't have any other land line options. If you use them for any service I hope you never have any problems.

    I requested to add internet from Brightspeed for my business. I had a scheduled date for a tech to show up. The day came, i did get a txt saying a tech would be there between 8-5pm. I saw the truck working 3 houses down on the pole but never came to my house to verify I had service. I called them back and explained to them I do not have internet service and you guys are charging me. She recommended sending a second tech out to look at the situation. Again asked to be available all day 8-5pm....no one ever showed up, no call, no email, no nothing. Called back a 3rd time to explain my situation and the lady tells me I will need to call back another time because their computers were frozen and unable to access anything and laughed about it like it was funny for her and not taking in to consideration the inconvenience this has caused and become. Called them back again today and they said they suspended my service for non payment $130. I explained I will not pay for something I have not been able to use since day 1. I have never been able to connect to their internet. This is the worse customer service I have ever received from a company. I would highly recommend not to use their service for anything.

    If I could give brightspeed service zero Stars I would. When I called the service number she asked me what my needs were I told her that I use it for streaming multiple devices working on my computer from home sometimes an online gaming. She then suggested me the 10 mbps package available in my area to meet my needs. They sent me the router and the mail in advance outside turns out my phone **** wasn't a working **** so I had to schedule another service tech to come out which was another 2 weeks wait. And then when they got there they had to go back to their shop get a phone jack *** install it and charge it to my account, mind you no mention of slow speed this entire time. I know nothing about internet and I really feel like they took advantage of my lack of knowledge. AFTER they hooked it up he told me it was going to be slow. After they left I tried to connect to my device and it wouldn't even stream and it took about 10 minutes to connect. So then I called customer service and they informed me that I need an upgrade but there was no upgrade in my area. And I told them the situation they offered to give me a discount I agreed but told them I wanted no service because why would I want to continue service for product that I can't use at an outrageous price, disconnect it. So by the next day I got a bill emailed to me for $79 for **************** that I never used. And there was no discount applied to my knowledge I also have to check email,print shipping label to mail router back if I don't want that charge. This place is nothing but a scam. I heard about them through a mailing circular that I received why would you circulate a mailer if you don't even offer sufficient internet coverage in that area? I feel like they definitely got me and Bamboozled me and now they want me to pay for it. Zero out of 5 Stars would not recommend. And they're not even accredited with the Better Business Bureau so I can't leave a complaint. This is the best I can do buyers beware.

    Horrible phone/internet service.Tried calling yesterday 3/11/2025/.They Can't send a tech until 28th of ******** much static in the Line.The *** couldn't understand.The *** from brightspeed was complaining about it. Was on the phone 3 hrs.Kept getting put on hold..Would not recommend this company.Happens every month.Back in the Fall last yr a technician was sent.He went to where the phone station is.Not my house.The tech came back.He said Im not touching it.He got shocked.The wiring apparently was wet wherever their main phone station is.

    Can't give a negative star unfortunately. Tried to cancel on March 3rd, after 2 hours confirmed cancelled with a confirmation number. Sent equipment back but.....found out they hadn't cancelled my account. I had to redo it March 11th and *** said that confr # doesn't exist!!!! Had to recancel and they refused to back it to a March 3rd date. Here's your new confirmation # !!! Put up with this company and its predecessor name for 30 years living in rural area. Thank god for satellite internet. If you are able to go another route it is in your best interest...go with the satellite.
