    My mom is elderly and lives in the country. We call and check on her daily (when the phone is working) . Her service goes out at least once a month. We call to get it fixed and it stops working before the end of the day. Her internet is a joke. She loves getting on social media to check on family and friends and to see pictures of her grandkids and great grand kids. It's sad that her only entertainment and she can't even enjoy it

    January 7th 2023 my internet and phone quit working I was told that later in the day it was not I was repeatedly given times that it would be fixed and it never was it is now January 9th and they tell me it will not be fixed until the 10th and at the earliest that they can send somebody out is the 17th. It has been an ongoing problem with the internet out for hours several days a week for a few months now. My son cannot do his school work or his homework on his computer we have no phone to be able to call anyone and every day it is it will be fixed tomorrow this company should not be allowed to be in business it has been nothing but lies. This company takes advantage of you because this is the only company that you can use in this area.

    Horrible Service. We keep losing service and it takes a long time for them to get things fixed. We have 2 businesses, with one of them requiring internet service.. I wish we had another option where we live, but unfortunately we do not. Would never recommend them to anyone.

    The absolute worst internet provider. They need to be shut down. If I could give them a 0 rating I would. I never had these issues when it was Centurylink.

    Horrible service! Was with CenturyLink which wasnt good but at least I had some kind of service to get by with. Once BrightSpeed took over our service has been very slow and unreliable. We literally have to unplug or disconnect our devices to get online with one computer. **************** is a joke! I have spent hours on the phone with them with several people and nobody will own up to the fact that their service ***** and its all our problem because we have too many devices one device in my opinion does not qualify as too many! I had to demand a tech come out after they cancelled my appointment three different times and when the tech arrived all I got was one excuse after another and then he said they was not putting any time or money into our area. Unfortunately they are the only option for a provider in our area so Im paying full price for an 1/8th of service.

    The poorest excuse for **************** I've ever seen took over from CenturyLink said nothing changed liars don't like the $45 a month lifetime contract I had so they are messing with me big time internet service is in and out most of the time out terrible run the other way do not ever use them if you can

    Terrible service!! The maximum speed I can get is 25 if I even get service. I pay ***** per month for nothing. If I can ever get a different service I will switch immediately! Unfortunately, Bright speed has a monopoly in my area. So yeah, Bright speed you are off the hook. Just keep taking in the money and giving terrible service. From the looks of these reviews, I am not the only dissatisfied customer. You would think you would want to correct these problems wouldn't you?

    I started a petition for Brightspeed titled Stop Brightspeed Mistreatment of Customers Brightspeed had a lawsuit in January 2022, please read it as it explains "BrightSpeed and Its Owner Knowingly Helped Companies Profit from ********** Services and Products"They're continuing to steal money from customers for services we're not getting 90% of the time. I'm not sure about the helping other companies. I just know that no one in multiple areas are getting services we pay for, from speeds to just connection.

    Since Century Link switched to Bright Speed internet service is horrible. Much slower. I am very disappointed. Century Link wasn't the best but it beats this.

    Perhaps the worst customer service I have ever encountered.everand I am old. Almost impossible to solve any problem.much less do it efficiently. Had a problem that required a technician.but they refused to schedule an appointment until i bought a new $200 modem. Hooked it up, no change, still needed the technician. A follow up technician visit was scheduled and I asked ******* confirmed further repairs were necessary. Gave me an 8am to. 5pm window for the techconfirming it the day of via text. No show. When chatted at 4 the agent says the visit was not necesssary and the appointment had been cancelled. No explanation as to when it was cancelled, why I was not contacted, and why they said it was necessary a few days earlier. Wasted a whole day. Chat was disconnected when I asked to speak to a supervisor. I assume customer service is going to be bad and have low expectations.but this was light years beyond anything I have seen. Ridiculously bad!
