If I could give a score of 0 I would. There are outages every week. I just got off the phone with them. I was on there for an freaking hour. It's too long to type what happened. If you can find another provider I implore you to PLEASE DO. Once I find another internet provider I'm following my own advice.

If you read all the reviews, ours is the same . They are worthless, you would think the *** would shut them down.

Where to begin? Constant in and out internet service for months. They've had techs out numerous times that say they "fixed" it. That lasts a day or two. I had to take off of work to wait for a tech. After the 8 hour window was up I got an auto message that they new date was in two days. But if I'm not at home when they come it's a $100 fee?? I go through the same troubleshooting each time. I even bought a new router. It is ALL on their end. My neighbor has the same issues. I would go to another service but I live out in the country and it is either this or satellite. They were Centurylink before they got bought out. I am not complaining of slow internet, I live in the country and expect that. But no internet and horrible customer service is ridiculous. I'm don't paying for something I'm not getting.

Hi, Our rural internet service outage began on Friday, Dec. 30th. I called Brightspeed and they told us it would be FIVE DAYS before they could send a tech to repair it. We were told that if we were not home on Tuesday, Jan 3rd when the tech arrived that we'd be charged $99. We waited all day, 8am-5pm and despite receiving a text that morning confirming our appointment the Brightspeed tech never showed up. I called again on Jan. 4th and got a text that morning saying that the tech would arrive on Jan 4th instead (we can't keep missing work! This is crazy!) and after a long angry call to customer service they tried to tell me that the appointment was for Jan 4th all alongf. This is crazy. All our neighbors are having similar problems: constant outages, no-show appointments, rude customer service reps a LIES. This is a countryside area. I rely on the internet to work because I am a remote worker and my husband has 2 home-based businesses. We can't even call 911 without wireless internet, because cell phone service is so lousy in this area. We've spent $15/day on cell service boosts trying to keep service going. This is HORRIBLE service. And guess what? There are NO OTHER COMPANIES who service our area. PLease hold Brightspeed accountable. They won't even confirm a one-month bill credit for our account. This is unacceptable.

I am a new customer. I've been given 3 appointments to have my service installed and still have no service. Had an appointment scheduled for today just received a text saying it has been changed to tomorrow. 11-30-22 was my original installation date.

We previously had CenturyLink and NEVER had issues. It switched to Brightspeed and has been nothing but awful. I called on *****-22 to tell them our internet was not working for atleast 2 weeks. They said it was our modem. They mailed us a new modem ($200 BTW.) And it still was not working. I called on 12-12-22 and they said they would send a tech out on 12-21-22. So long, especially when someone in the house works from home and relies on internet. Tech comes out. Says our old modem was fine, but that we had an awful splice. He fixed that. Snow storm hits the next day and our whole town was having issues with Brightspeed. I called today 1-3-23 to tell them we would pay for the new modem because it covered more area in our home; but we did not want to pay for the 7 weeks we were without service and lost money because you can't work from home with no internet. They said they saw our issue started *****. I asked them to open that call and listen because I told them we had issues for 2 weeks before that. He said that he could not open the call and that the agent didn't put that in the notes. They only wanted to take off our late fee and 1 month service. So cheating people out of money when the service was NOT provided. I will never recommend this company to our town community page again when people ask about service in the area. I will also tell my friends and family about this experience and likely they will lose several customers over this. So ridiculous.

Horrible service. We don't have internet half the time. When you call to get a tech I takes them at least a week to get a tech out here. CenturyLink was subpar at best, but at least their techs were out sooner. I was told by their customer service that it wasn't their fault that I was losing money by not being able to do my work from home job. They expect the payment on time and will charge late fees, but can't keep their service running. The company is a joke and we should have more options for internet in our area.

Absolutely the worst internet provider. Was with Century Link, then was migrated over to Brightspeed. E mail was hacked, initiated a repair ticker since I could nor receive any e mails. That was 5 days ago, and was promised action within 72 hours. You cannot talk to a tech support person, only through chat to a person who will not connect you to support. Will be cancelling internet service.************

Brightspeed took over our internet service from CenturyLink on October 5th. We had had very poor internet service and several days without internet at all since Brightspeed became our provider. Would call to report internet outages and all we got were automatic responses. Could not talk to a live customer service representative. Just automatic service and then would be disconnected. This happened over and over again. Spent hours on the phone just trying to get help. **************** is one of the worse we have experienced with any of our previous internet providers. Brightspeed has the worse customer service and internet coverage. I finally found another internet service that provides both better internet service and I can actually speak to a customer service representative.
