    Like others, I thought Century Link was horrid but Brightspeed is giving them a run for their money, or maybe for my money actually. I had no phone or internet for 4 days which is not safe in the area where I live, as most neighbors also have limited cell reception. So if you need 911 you are screwed. Calling this company got me nowhere, I was given differing information and when a contractor came to my house I was told that they did not work on the weekends. Apparently there were a significant amount of folks in the area without a phone as well and this was over Christmas weekend. I had my ticket pushed back from *** when said contractor showed up until Wed. I got lucky when this nice repair guy came a day early and apparently all he had to do was reset something at the main box or whatever. I can't wait to get rid of this company for good but its all that we have right now and its a terrible feeling when I anticipate this happening again,

    My WiFi quit working. Thank God the ethernet cable still works since I work from home. I called support which is over seas. They told me I need a new modem. ok. The tech said they would have it out tomorrow and sends me over to customer care to get it ordered. ******** care told me they couldn't order one for me and that someone would call me back in ***** hours. I confirmed it would be 1-2 days before they would call me to simply order me a modem. She told me no, it would not be 1-2 days. It would be ***** hours. I said that was not acceptable. She told me it was ok as she noted the account and someone will call me in ***** hours. I went online and was able to order a modem even though they couldn't order one for me.

    CRAPPY SERVICE!!!! My router is upstairs and the technician even said that it should work better since its upstairs. Well my computer is always searching and searching to find the information that I'm looking for which means the internet is SLOWER!!! I'm paying more for the internet service and not receiving the service. My ** is downstairs. Well a lot of times when I turn the ** on...there is NO INTERNET CONNECTION!!! Also, I'm looking at a program or movie and the internet drops before my program has ended. It SUCKS!!!!!! I agree with another reviewer---One star is too much!!!

    I also experienced the worse customer service. Started calling middle of November to resolve no internet service that was on their system side. Even after speaking to several representatives from various depts no one ever called back to confirm if the issue was resolved! After ***** calls and over a month of no internet, several trouble tickets the issue was finally resolved in December 28. I received conflicting information on the issue many times and it seemed no one could resolve the issue. If we had another internet provider we would have switched weeks ago. If I could I would rate the service at 0 as this was the worst experience ever!

    Never had a problem till brightspeed took over an now this has to be the absolute worst company ever. We tried to up out speeds to be told by the tech that never showed its not available in our area just because he didn't wanna run new lines then proceeds to try an talk us out of faster speeds because they have had problems with it. Between there lazy techs an horrible customer service after 12 years we are switching

    Over charge they said i wasnt going to be charged any fees to move my internet and now they are charging me 650$ horrible customer service they dont help

    They charged me for services I didn't receive. Now they billed me for equipment I returned to them 3 months ago.

    I had CenturyLink Quantum fiber in ** before it was bought by Brightspeed. I never had any issues, the service just worked. Since moving to Brightspeed 4 months ago, I've had 2 major outages. The first lasted over a week before they could get someone out to fix the issue and now I'm told my current outage will be addressed sometime around January 9th, 2 weeks away. I work from home and can't keep having these huge outages.Strongly suggest everyone think twice about choosing Brightspeed in MO

    If I could give negative stars I would. We have been without a landline and WiFi since 12/21/22. We in our community call continuously to all be told different estimates dates and times that our service will be restored. This was all during a winter ice storm. We live rurally and very few of us have cell phone service in case of an emergency. We still have no clue when or if we will get service. We are told a tech is working on this, yet no one is in fact working on it! We have lost work and an income due to this. Pathetic.

    This company *****. You will not speak to an honest competent person after your service is installed. When your service goes out there is no such thing as customer care. Just a series of lies and excuses while they push your restore date further and further out with no updates on when you will be restored.
