    Awful, terrible company. Service is spotty and slow at best. They refused to apply my ACP credit to my bill and every month it was a day or two of phone calls and the run around and I dont even think their customer service team is on this planet. I even emailed their resolution department and never received a response at all. Their website brags about their customer service but there is no service at all. How could they not have a record of me calling in about the same issue for months in a row? Ive never been so glad to be rid of a company.

    I wouldnt t even give 1 star! The company is c*** the customer service is crap! I am going on day 11 for a replacement modem mind you I have been given 2 different orders, 2 different order numbers because they said there was never a first. I was told for the second order that it would be overnighted and magically it still has not came. I contacted the company and the repair tech tells me they do not even have overnight services and it should be here in 3-5 more business days. Now I cant trust or believe anything they say with all lies I am given. I have been with century link for many years and this company doesnt even come close to a true internet company and I will be going else where. And now I will have to do the whole phone **************** again just to cancel. This is beyond frustrating!!!

    Stay away if you can - I had 2 accounts with Centurylink. One was to be put on vacation, the active one was somehow transferred to Brightspeed without my knowledge. I thought the active account was on autopay, but autopay was paying the vacation account so my Brightspeed account went unpaid! We did not receive notices and it took me 6 calls between Centurylink and Brightspeed to figure this much out. Neither company has record of my vacation request. Thought the account was on autopay so was shocked when I got a disconnect notice. Brightspeed just demanded payment when I called and then disconnected my internet before I could resolve! And the week my husband was in the hospital! No compassion, this is a bad company, but we dont have good choices in rural areasnot sure where to go from here.

    Continually losing internet only to reconnect. Called many times only to walk thru troubleshoot but does not resolve issue. Set up for tech to come,wait a month. Get notification work complete but never came to house. Internet goes down again,call. Let's start all over with troubleshooting. Worse part is, can hardly understand Asian(?) Rep on other end of line. Time to look elsewhere

    I totally hate this company, CenturyLink was not much better. Ive been without service for almost 3 weeks , they really dont care . I will not be paying my bill. When you call them you talk to people that you cant understand. Im looking for a new provider and I will drop these people like a bad habit!!!!

    Was told by the tech that came out that the company covered 750 of line an anything passed that was $1 per foot. I told him to proceed with the install order and was told before they continue I would have to pay $1025.29 for the install. As my home was **** from junction. When I asked why the cost was so high and not split among bills as I was told and the person on the chat said there is simply no way we can move forward without you paying $**** up front due to it being **** of distance so I then asked what about the first 750 being covered and I was told if its more than 750 you are responsible to cover the whole cost as its your home getting service not ours. I feel this cost should have been told upfront and I also feel they are ripping people off for this service

    Abysmal services which is are consistently beneath their contractual requirements. The customer support is even worse. The only reason Im a customer is because they have no competitor in my area.
