    Brightspeed's amount of incompetence is astounding. I have had Century Link for over a year and for some reason Brightspeed has had a glitch in their system and now I have to create a new account & have a service appointment to get my internet reinstated. Internet is still working, just needs to be turned on by Brightspeed. No appointment necessary. Total idiots.

    I was switched to bright speed from century link. I have school work, tests and everything to submit. Today my service has been in and out like every 3/5 mins. Your service ************** Speed my a** - NO Service Speed. Im switching. You dont even have a service to offer with internet going in & out - so disappointed that century link left us with this bs

    Been dealing with them for 3 days of no internet and they keep yanking my chain. I cannot get my services fixed. This is ridiculous. Their service is terrible and so is their customer service.

    Centurylink customers since 2006...no problems, great CS...since Brightspeed took over have had to call numerous times..internet is sporty at best...problems paying our bill and their CS sucks!! Definitely will be looking elsewhere for our internet needs!

    The absolute worst internet provider. It was bad when it was centuryLink but worse when they switched to Brightspeed! My internet didnt work for most of October.

    Worst ever been without service for 3 weeks was told technician would come between 12:40 and 5:00 Friday I took off work just to be notified at 7 pm. That they rescheduled for next Wednesday ..that's another day of missing work who's paying for that?

    Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Been out of internet for almost a month. Have had MULTIPLE calls and chats over the last 4 weeks and we have had zero help. I've been told a new modem has been on the way for the last 3 of the 4 weeks...still not here. Even worse, we have gone through FIVE refurbished modems, so naturally, they keep going out and we wait weeks at a time for another new one. The customer service reps keep lying saying they will send out #6 modem but nothing ever comes. I've asked yet again to send another one and overnight it, nothing. Then ,when asking for a refund on our bill, I'm told that I need to call back and go through another series of steps. No help. If you can avoid Brightspeed (formally CenturyLink) do so!!! This is your warning! We unfortunately don't have other options at our location.

    This company has so many issues I dont know where to begin. When I initially searched for internet service my only option was CenturyLink, as I live in a new housing division. Ok. So I go online to input my address into CenturyLink and it tells me my area is now covered by Brightspeed. Got it. So I set up an account, pay the fee, and schedule an appointment for install. When I go into the app to check my information I noticed that the service address was incorrect. This is where all my issues began. I called Brightspeed customer service to inform them that the service address simply need to be changed. They informed me that I would have to delete the original account and appointment and pay the fee again. I was also told after the appointment was cancelled I would receive a refund. This is for what SHOULD be a simple address change!! So I delete the account as instructed and called them back. Now, when I called the Brightspeed number and after a few prompts it brings me back to CenturyLink customer service. They are of no help because they dont have access to Brightspeed systems. They try to give me a number to call but its the exact same number I used to get them! To make a long story short I still dont have internet service and I really dont know what to do. What I do know is I DO NOT want Brightspeed internet service. Their customer service is downright comical and unprofessional. They need to be shutdown ASAP in my opinion.

    CenturyLink sold out to Brightspeed in our area. We never had issues with CenturyLink and I was told when I contacted Brightspeed that nothing has changed but my internet connection is very slow. We can barely watch tv, the phones are slow to load anything. And just forget online gaming at all. This is absolutely ridiculous and we have no other options . They have a monopoly here and that is so unfair.

    Avoid Brightspeed at ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NO STARS have to leave one in order to post which in itself is horse hocky.3 Months, 3 deadlines and all missed and still late and not working correctly When I call nothing but people overseas that cannot to a Go Dam Thing. They just want to hear themselves talk drag out the call because they are being paid by the minute.No Corporate number to call about customer retention.Just the same trunk monkey over and over.I say that not as a racial slur, I say that has you just can't fix STUPID 3 months and they have the ***** to tell me I late on paying my bill. What the h*** It would be different if I have the service and using it.It is however completely different when you don't have it To make it work I have been paying for 3 accounts just to make it work.There *** had better get up to speed on the c*** service the idiots he has hires and the lack of brain power they do not possess.still struggling I am really starting to dislike this what I thought was my great country,because of jerks like *********************** the *** of Brightspeed.O did I tell you they are almost all former ******* wireless executives.Thats where they learned how to s**** everyone over and rip consumers off I say this as a matter of FACT. Have proof.Take a look at your ******* wireless bill. You will month after month find some obscure charge that does not belong there, and people just pay imagine the 100 of millions in revenue they line their pocket with.I watched and complained and trapped them for 17 years, then made an example out of them through the letter of the law.Seems like I must do it again, that is the good Lord and his funny sense of humor.O look the BBB posts and show the same %(&^%(&^% number to the trunk monkeys!
