Frigidaire Model GRFS2853AF SN 4A24621064 Purchased January 2023 Technician arrival window* where I needed to be here for the tech ?8?:?00? AM to ?5?:?00? PM? When service tech showed. They stated the fixed it 2/24 3/20 4/14 5/15 6/8 NO SHOW 8-5 window left 0ver 2 messages that were ignored 6/13 Many other dates, but their communication and documents to the client (me) does not exist Sent a string of PRIVATE MESSAGES to their ******** This was the latest:Bought a Frigidaire refrigerator in Janry 2023. First we noticed cold air coming out of our bottom freezer. A technician came out ordered a replacement gasket came in. Service tech replaced it. Then our bottom freezer ice maker stopped working. They sent out a technician that technician looked at it quickly and replaced the ice maker but we had to wait at least a week for it to come in. They replaced the ice maker it was making ice then they i stalled it. A few weeks later no more ice called again told we needed another service call they replaced the ice maker again thinking it's the ice maker guess what it was not Call them again they were sending a Tech out and the Tech came and did a full diagnostic on the refrigerator. Took it appart.....Said it was an element in the refrigerator tha he cant get to. Frigidaire has set up a different tech for a replacement report. Tech was a no show. Called again. Supervisor set up an appointment. Was called by the tech company they dont work on that model. Shouldn't the supervisor know if one of their service companies doesn't "work" on this model. .Call center is useless. You stay on hold for hours. All their emails and chat do is apologize for the inconvenience. Do not recommend a Frigidaire product. Have yet another appt for a replacement report. They do not value my time and show no empathy on how difficult it is to deal with this company. It's been 6 months of anxiety, frustration and complete disappointment. I purchased an electrolux washer and dryer new from pc ******** February 2023. Since they were delivered i have had nothing but problems with the dryer at least 7 parts were replaced in the unit and now i have noticed that an exhaust vent in the dryer drum is rusting. I havent had use of this dryer for more than a month since it was delivered in march 2023 because it took forever to get a competent repair center to do the work. Upon calling electrolux today to have service for the washing machine door latch and have the rust issue fixed, electrolux is telling me they will send a new part but i will have to pay for the labor. I find this to be utterly ridiculous for a washing machine that is under 4 months old and used less than a month to start rusting and they wont cover the repair. They state that rust is a visual issue and doesnt affect the operation of the unit. Well this is a lie because now i have clean clothes spinning around in a new ***** drum letting rust debris get into my clothes and the clothes rubbing against a ***** surface prematurely wearing away.Business Response

I purchased a Refrigerator on 03/31/2023 (Model FPRU19F8WF Frig 19 Cu. Ft. Single-Door Refrigerator Serial numbers ***********. The refrigerator stopped working beginning of April. The technician came out from the *** refrigerator and said the defrost heater was not working. I didn't hear anything from them for 2 weeks. Then I called Frigidaire customer service, who said the tech had not entered in the system the visit, hence cannot see the issue in their system. Hence, they Scheduled another technician visit. The technician didnt come for this visit. I called Frigidaire customer service, now they can see issue of defrost heater not working. Frigidaire customer service ordered part number **********, Order Number ********, Order Date 06/12/2023, and told me to follow up in 7- 10 days. In the most recent conversation online, they told me that the part is still in backorder, and I need to wait with no expected delivery date (last time they told me October). I have a pregnant spouse and a toddler at home, and I am afraid that no refrigeration is putting their health at risk. Please help me resolve the issue. Thank you.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:*********** that was sent out ***************** was so rude and my husband said they didn't even check the back of the fridge. The gentleman claimed that he it was a line by the compressor that he fixed. He left and water was on the hardwood floor again after he left. I was so upset that I requested them not to send out the same guy and I called into the customer service to notify them what happened. Since then, they sent out someone else from another company and the gentleman has not fixed the problem because he needs to return with another person to pull the fridge as he noticed that the fridge has a defect. I am angry and upset and as each day that passes by more damage is being caused to my floor and cabinetry unacceptable. The fridge is defective *********** must take owernship as to what has happened. I need this fixed and if you can't have a person to figure out the problem it needs to be replaced.

I have a fridgidaire heat pump that was purchased Sept 10. 2018 I have been trying to obtain parts to fix the unit since it broke in October 2022. I have come to find out from the company the parts I need are not available so I am now left with a heat pump that is broke and no parts are available to fix. It has a 5 year warranty which is active till September 2023. I have contacted the company as well as *************************** in *** where I purchased the unit. I feel since the unit is still under warranty and the company cant supply the parts to fix,I should be compensated for a unit that is no good to me. I have contacted *************************** supplied them with the model serial number tags from the indoor and outdoor unit which they passed on to ****** at fridgdaire ( direct Number for ******) ************ but they are not having any luck resolving this for me and ****** wont take calls from customers, only suppliers. All details are on the attached letter. I want to hear from the president/CEO and a district manager of Frigidaire. I do not want to hear from a customer service rep. **** are no help whatsoever. I have tried for almost a year to get a response from Frigidaire and NO ONE will respond at all. Their customer service and their warranty repair company are terrible!!! Now there is a problem with the refrigerator door and I want a reputable warranty repair company with knowledgeable technicians to come to my house at no charge. It is against the law and unethical to charge a service fee for a warranty repair. I want a response immediately before the refrigerator door breaks completely. I am rejecting this response because: the door issue they mentioned that ******* is going to look at ( not until two weeks from now) is a new issue. I have tried to contact Frigidaire numerous times over the past several months. The company did not even read my letter originally or even now that I have contacted the BBB. The customer service has been horrible and the warranty company (**************************) is horrible and even tells customers that Frigidaire is not a good brand and the customer should buy something else. Is that the kind of company you want representing your brand? This warranty repair company also charges a $125 service call fee. That is unethical and illegal on a warranty service call, but Frigidaire does not care. The ice maker has to be left on all of the time even though I do not need that much ice. If you stop the ice maker sometimes it will not start making ice again and it takes days to get ice (if you stop or pause it). My previous refrigerator had a bar that lowered and raised depending if you wanted ice or not. The machine detected the bar and decided how much ice to make When you wanted more ice, it raised and started making ice again. This one has to be left on all of the time and I just have to throw ice out when it over flows. That costs money when paying for water and is a waste. The icemaker is not defective. It is just a poor design. I want to hear from top level management not a customer service person. Nothing will get done without management involved. Again, the newest door issue (which cannot be looked at for two weeks since the company will not come in the afternoon after I get off work mid-afternoon). This started long before now. I want to hear from top level management for the St of KS and not a customer service rep. I have told everyone I know about the horrible service from Frigidaire.Business Response

That is true but it is yet another issue with the appliance. I bought a fridge from Frigidaire in March. Since I bought this ********* has been broken three times. It is the same issue over and over again. The repair man comes out fixes the issue and so forth. This time they ordered the part, but did not come out to install it. I waited three weeks because I obviously needed a working fridge, so I installed the part myself. It is as simple as plugging it in. Now the warranty is magically voided? Ridiculous because the fridge has been broken since I bought it. It has been almost a year and Frigidaire has yet to fix a new refrigerator that I bought at Lowes last year July 18, 2022. Frigidaire Gallery **** Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator. I registered the product with them the day of the purchase. Ive been waiting for parts since around October. The parts arrive then a new tech comes by and says he cannot Install the parts because a different tech ordered them. The new tech orders parts. The parts arrive and theres no way to contact them. Ive tried both their numbers and one business email without avail. I call Frigidaire warranty department and an automated message comes up at 8:30 in the morning today saying they have an unusual high number of calls and they cannot take my call. This is the second time *** filed a complaint in the last 12 months. Last time Frigidaire said theyd fix the issue. Nothing yet. Different issues with the refrigerator. Broken water lines and water dripping, and then water flooding from the front. Theyre not honoring their lemon law or their three issues and new fridge policy. Please help me. I want one of two things to happen. Frigidaire gets me a new refrigerator or refunds me for the one I bought. I havent been able to enjoy my brand new fridge since I bought it almost a year ago. The problem persists. The back wall is freezing and spoiling my food.
Everything in my deli drawer is being frozen. The vegetable drawer also receives freezer damage. I ask that Electrolux send me a new refrigerator. This is unacceptable. ****** tried fixing this refrigerator more than 4 times in a year. Theres always an issue. I havent been able to use this refrigerator the way it was intended to. Im either always waiting for parts or for somebody to assess whats wrong with it.
In the end, Im suffering because emu food spoils or I have to empty my refrigerator or cant use ice function or my food is not edible anymore.
i believe Electrolux is stalling until July 14 when the 12 month factory warranty expires. I demand immediate resolution. No more stalling or half measures. Ive been thru the repair process multiple times and nothing is resolved. This is a lemon refrigerator. They have all records and call logs. Theres enough evidence to prove so.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The repair service company was a no-show on 7/6/2023. This is consistent with many other service calls placed the problem still persists and is a myriad of problems exhibited by this refrigerator. Ive yet to enjoy the refrigerator operating the way its supposed to free of any malfunctions.
This is unacceptable. Electrolux should replace this refrigerator immediately. The records indicate this refrigerator has had problems almost immediately after it was purchased.
It is a nightmare having to go thru customer service phone lines and chats. Additionally, when services are scheduled, the repair companies do not show up or they show up when youre not expecting them.
I demand an immediate replacement. Like I said in the previous communication, it seems as if Electrolux is stalling to make the manufacturers warranty expire in less than a week from todays date.
Electrolux, do the right thing! Take care of your customers. *** worked hard to save for that refrigerator and have had nothing but bad experiences. Backup your product. This refrigerator is beyond repair. Its received numerous repair calls and it keeps failing.

Paid full amount: $7,200 before tax on Oct 04 2022 for a Electrolux refrigerator and freezer kit + 1 year full warranty. Both the freezer and the refrigerator had a problem from scratch. The issue with the freezer was resolved, taking more than a month. Technicians came from Elite Appliance and ***************** Repair (the designated repair service for Electrolux) however the issue was never resolved. We called Electrolux, Elite Appliance and/or Bayview and no one wanted to take responsibility, leaving me and my family without a refrigerator for almost 3 weeks. I reject this message because: Two companies, Elite Appliance and Bayview Home Appl, were in my house doing diagnostics 2 months ago. Both companies diagnosed that they need to replace the evaporator kit. Elite Appliance ordered this part for me and after a month came to replace it, but for some reason they steped back and decided not to install it. When my refrigerator stopped working at all (does not cool), I called Electrolux many times and asked why my case was not being considered and nothing was happening. Every time they opened a claim and sent my case to Elite Appliance they never came and canceled the appointment every time.
I finally got responses from Elite Appliance that one of the Electrolux managers canceled my *********************** and moved my case to Bayview Home Appl. Then the same technician from Bayview Home Appl came in and diagnosed the same problem as 2 months ago. They said that they ordered this spare part and do not know when it will be delivered: maybe 3, 4 weeks, or maybe months. They suggested that I call Elextrolux and ask them.
Another call to Elextrolux brought me back to the beginning of the story: Elextrolux doesn't know that Bayview Home Appl is my current repair company and they wanted to send me a technician to diagnose.
They don't even know that my issue has been reviewed and diagnosed 3 times already.
My big family with 3 kids has been without a fridge for almost a month. I called them many times and I get very unfriendly responses, at best they promise to call me back and never do.Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: More than 3 business days have passed and I have not received a response/follow-up from Electrolux or ********************** Center, as promised by Electrolux in the last reply.
I called the ********************** Center at ************ about the status of my case and got the same response as before:
We can't come and fix your fridge now.
We cannot tell you the date when we will come and fix your refrigerator.So, Since Electrolux cannot fulfill its warranty policy obligations such as
1. Repair a refrigerator that is under warranty.
2. To provide me the reasonable date/time when this refrigerator will be repaired. This refrigerator doesn't work at all since June 1, 2023!
I demand that Electrolux immediately replace this non-working refrigerator with a new working one.Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:********************** Center came to my house on Friday and tried to replace the part for about an hour.
They couldn't do it because the part doesn't fit the fridge.
Yesterday I received an email from Electrolux CSG saying that the dealer has approved the replacement. They will contact you in a few days to discuss the details or you may also reach out to them directly. Thank you!But here is another issue. If I understand correctly, the dealer is the store when I bought the refrigerator, the problem is that this store "****************" *************************************************************, phone ************** permanently closed.
I called Electrolux support and explained the situation that this store is closed and asked who my dealer is now and who can help me.
I didn't get a response, they promised to come back with an answer.
Please can you help escalate this replacement and provide me with information on who is my dealer now and who should replace the refrigerator.Thank you.

I purchased a Frigidaire/Electrolux microwave from Lowes before Christmas, December 2022. It was also purchased with an extended warranty. Once installed it worked wonderfully until mid January when it just stopped working. After checking the circuits, outlets, etc and finding no issue that would explain why it stopped working I called Lowes to use the warranty for a repair or replacement. After 3 or 4 phone calls I finally got the answer that my model is not repairable and that Electrolux manufacturer warranty will buy back the microwave and give a gift card to purchase a new unit. I was told to wait 10 business days to receive an email with next steps and the card number to buy the new unit. Never received. I called back, was hung up on. Called back again, and told I had to wait for the email. A few weeks later, still no email. I call Lowes again and they wont help so they transferred me to Electrolux again. This time, ** informed I have to send a picture of the sticker on my unit as well as the receipt to an email address. I send it, get no response, and no answer. I send again, yet again same issue. It is now the middle of June and we are still without a microwave which I paid nearly $329 for, not including the extended warranty. This is absolutely unacceptable.Business Response
