      Bought a/c unit December 5,2023. Stopped working in April. They sent someone out to fix it in may. They said it couldnt be fixed, would send a replacement within 10 days. Now it is ***** No replacement. We have called numerous times only get a runaround. They had no problem taking my $821.62. I would like a replacement of same value or better or my money back.       I purchased a dishwasher in late November. I spoke to customer service today and they told me all my issues were cosmetic and not covered. Are you kidding me. You have 1 year under manufacturer's warranty. The entire inside of the unit is rusting. Not the walls the actually parts. The coils, the screws everything. The basket prongs are literally cracking off from rust. The door pops in and out the stainless steel. You can press it in and it sinks in then pops out. I have used this dishwasher 6 times. Yes 6 times and all of these problems. We just permanently moved into this home as it was a part time home in *******. Total lemon piece of junk. ***** should this be happening. Brand new appliance. I want a replacement. What would this thing look like in a year. Plus the door. Like the metal was made to big for it. I'm so extremely upset. Tired of junk appliances and they are not willing to do anything. I will get the attorney General involved in this. So tired of these kinds of problems. Model number TH20239582 SERIAL ************

      The dishwasher inside is breaking down meaning things are cracking off. 

       

      If you had read the complaint correctly the exterior door is to big for the unit where it pops in and out. That is not acceptable.  This unit is a lemon and must have been refurbished.  I will not have a 5 month old dishwasher in this condition.  This is a second home and it has been used only a few times.  I want an exchange.  I guess I will have to contact the Attorney General as well to get action on this.

      I had the Electrolux tech here today.  He took the door panel off and said it was bowed. Pops in and out and should NEVER EVER BE THAT WAY. As I stated in my original complaint. I can't believe I been dealing with this since November. The store was even notified of this The SAME EXACT day and the store chose to not do anything about it.  Maybe you should call Cons Appliance as to where i purchased it and bring up the records of the phone conversions the day OF delivery!!!!  He even said its clearly a manufacturer defect or it had something to do with delivery.  Then he also said the carts.inside the dishwasher for as new as they are should not be cracking off. He said he will submit the claim and that's all he can do. I want my dishwasher replaced!!!! I should have had it replaced the day it was delivered from the store and they chose to do absolutely nothing about it. This should be against the law. If I gotta get the phone records from my phone provider I will.  I knew it was a manufacturer defect and to make it worse you or the store will stand behind your product. The day it was delivered I probably called the store 15 times asking them to take this back and they even hung up on me. 

       

      I want a NEW dishwasher. I will report this to every single agency I have to.

      I purchased a side by side refrigerator freezer made by electrolux/frigidaire on 4/25/2023. There was an issue with the doors not aligning which was determined to be unrepairable. At first they said it was not eligible for replacement because it was only cosmetic. Finally they did authorize replacement. The new unit was received on 6/5/2023. It was noted on 6/7 to be freezing everything in the refrigerator side of the unit. They sent a tech out 6 days later to repair the fridge. He had to order parts and was unable to return to do the actual repair until 6/13. This meant that we had a nonfunctioning refrigerator for 2 weeks. Today, 6/14, the refrigerator side is still freezing everything. Their customer service says that they can't send the tech back until 6/21. That would be 3 weeks without a refrigerator. This is completely unacceptable. The tech was back today, 6/16, and is now researching what the correct part needed is. I have been in contact with customer service who say they can't do anything about authorizing a return of product because there is a work order in progress. It's looking like another week without a refrigerator and then who knows if we'll have one that works or will still need to replace it. They also refuse to do any reimbursement for lost food or general aggravation because they say that is not a covered warranty item. Since this a defective unit not one that failed after a period of time I feel this should be covered. Needless to say I am totally dissatisfied with Frigidaire/Electrolux.

      I purchased my Frigidaire oven, and bought a 5-year extended warranty on 8/19-2019. The oven burners would not turn on on May 26th. The entire oven died except sometimes the clock light turns on. I have called Electrolux about 25 times. I have done the life chat about 15 times. They keep making me an appointment with a repair company that will not come to my house. They have done this to me three times. On the chat they made an appointment with another company that you can't get a hold of, and when you call that number you just get disconnected. It's very difficult to not have an oven for over 3 weeks. Electrolux keeps telling me they're going to escalate my issue, which so far means absolutely nothing. I can't express my disgust of 15 hours on the phone and still have no oven. One of the Electrolux people ask me if my oven buttons ignited! When I said what do you mean, he said oh never mind you have an electric oven. There is no piece of mind with the 5-year warranty I bought. I can't ever in my lifetime imagine buying another Frigidaire with the worst customer service I've ever seen in my life. To add to the problem it's been raining for 3 weeks and barbecuing for 3 weeks in the rain is no fun.

      Purchased a fridge from a local store (Lowes) on August 20th, 2022. Since this purchase, the fridge and freezer portions have failed to work (cool) on three separate occasions. The first occasion was three months after purchase. Unplugged the fridge, gave it a few hours, and plugged in back in. The fridge then started to work again. The fridge then stopped working again at the end of January, 2023. Called Frigidaire. They sent their third-party maintenance (********************) to our house on February 21st, 2023. With the fridge being new, the third-party was unsure of the exact issue and decided to order replacement parts for the compressor (part **********), filter (part **********), and control (part **********). Parts were installed and the fridge worked for another 3 months. The fridge and freezer again stopped working in May, 2023. We called Frigidaire yet again, and they said they would send their third-party ***** Appliance to our house again. We went 2.5 weeks without a fridge/freezer when ******************** could finally come out to our house. This time, still not 100% sure on why the fridge is acting up, they decided to order a new timer. Were told that this part was on back order with no estimated time of arrival. Frigidaire told us that ******************** could call their master Tech but ******************** said they do not do that. We spoke to management at Frigidaire and were told that if the part did not have an ETA with 7 business days to call back and they would put in for a replacement for the fridge. We called on the 7th business day and they are now telling us that they will get the part ordered. Asked about getting it replaced since it has stopped working three times and we have not even had it a year. On the phone, Frigidaire told us this model cannot get replaced. Our warranty will be up in August and we were told to buy the extended warranty since it keeps ceasing to work. Made by: Electrolux Model: FRTD2021AB0 Serial:4A22120100 Total Cost: $1,033.94

      I am rejecting this response because: The unit was purchased in August 2022. I have not owned the unit for a year. The unit has stopped working three separate times within this timeframe with something different being the issue each time. This is not normal for a new appliance. Clearly, this is a faulty unit from the factory. 

      I want the unit refunded or replaced. If the unit has problems after the warranty expires in August, it seems ridiculous that I would be financially responsible to have it fixed when Ive been having problems with it since purchasing it only 10 months ago.

      Bought fridge from Lowes for $1139 and it was delivered on 3/17/2023. The following day when I tried to use the ice dispenser, it will not work. The ice maker works, it will not dispense the ice through the door. The water line works. Called warranty ************ on 5/11. Communication issue with the local company, appt was r/s for the following week. After that visit, I was notified the part needed was not in stock & had no ETA. On 6/1 the repairperson came out & replaced the motor (I think) and left. Once again, the following day no ice is dispensing. I call warranty **** & adamantly request a different company be sent out. They agree & schedule for 6/7. Original company calls on 6/7 to confirm & I advised they weren't supposed to come back out. I called the new company the warranty **** gave & they had no record. No appointment happened that day. I called warranty **** again, have a complaint # of ********. Appt scheduled for 6/13 with new repair company. 6/13 original repair company called on their way. I had them go ahead & come out. He repair a switch, but the following day, no ice dispensing. Since all the ice is thrown away or melted, it is impossible to test & me to confirm if it is working while they are here. I have never received any written information from the warranty **** or the repair company. Repair company said they didn't do that. This is the ONLY feature I bought the refrigerator for & I haven't been able to use it yet. I don't know who else to contact to get help & hopefully a working ice dispenser.

      I am rejecting this response because: My ice maker still does not work, nor is there an ETA on when it might work. The technician was out Monday to look at the unit. Once again I have lost 5.5 hours and still do not have a working ice dispenser. The same tech came out as last time. He said I wasn't using the ice fast enough & it was freezing the spiral thing. Since I can't get the ice to dispense, the use is a bit sporadic. He basically said that I would either need to break up the ice or empty it into another container in order to use the dispenser. I was not pleased with the answer, but then asked about the crushed ice. When he went back to try that, it's not working. He looked around for awhile & said something about replacing the ice box as the blades for the crushed ice were dull. He said the motor which has been replaced was a strong motor, so he didn't understand why it wasn't able to push the ice through. He said he did not know how long it would take to order the part and he said he would be leaving in a few weeks to go out of the country, so he wasn't sure what they would do if the part came in during that time. I have not received any updates from the company. I also asked about getting some type of paperwork stating what work was done, parts replaced.... the tech said that the warranty company is the customer, not me, so I don't get paperwork. Is this accurate as well with your warranty repairs? 

      Again....I just want a refrigerator that does what it is advertised to do without having to be rebuilt part by part....within the 1st 3 months of ownership. I would like this ice maker to make and dispense ice, both cubes & crushed.

My ice maker still does not dispense ice. I have started turning the ice maker off every other day b/c the tech said it was freezing the machine. Is this the level of service Electrolux/Frigidaire stand behind and support? If so, I may be spinning my wheels advocating for a higher level of support. I am beyond frustrated, I thought going this route may get better resolutions, but apparently I was wrong. Again, the company their technicians have been out 4-5 times now & the original complaint has not changed or even improved.

      3-26-2023 paid **** dollars they have done nothing at all to help due to incomplete combustion all my cookers has black soot all over them asked if i could exchange for a replacement they said no i been on the phone a bunch of times to their customer service which is in *************** and they are no help they read from a script talked to their supervisor and the same thing wanting to trade to a electric range so i do not have to worry about this problem with the gas issue anymore it is scary and unsafe to use their gas ranges

      Purchased a Frigidaire Refrigerator on November 13, 2022, for $2,784.78 at Lowes in ********, ** This purchase was made on my Lowes credit card. The refrigerator came with a one-year warranty. Three weeks ago, the refrigerator started experiencing major operational issues. I contacted Frigidaire and they set up an appointment for a technician to come and assess the issue. The Technician came out 1.5 weeks ago and determined that the ice maker needed to be replaced and the mother board needed to be replaced as well. I was advised that it would take 3 -10 days before the parts were to come in. Today makes the 8th day. In the meantime, all of my food in both freezers has defrosted and is going bad. Called Frigidaire again and was told that because I did not purchase the extended warranty (which would take effect once the 1-year warranty expired) would not be covered for reimbursement. I attempted to contact ************************ (company that came out to assess the issue), left my name and phone number. To this date, I have not received a return phone call. Contacted Frigidaire again, spoke to a representative named ******, who also attempted to contact ************************ and received no answer. I contacted the Lowes store to speak with a manager. Left my name and phone number in anticipation that they would be able to contact Frigidaire and be able to assist in expediting my issue. Again, I have not received a response. Finally, I contacted my Lowes credit card service to escalate a dispute, which is now in a 60-day waiting period. BUT, in the meantime, I have a refrigerator/freezer (this refrigerator has dual freezers, which were completely full of food) that is not working and have a substantial loss of food with no recourse for reimbursement or resolve. for the price that I paid for this refrigerator, there is no way that I should have to settle for replacement parts on a refrigerator that is 7 months old.

      I am rejecting this response because: this is a very well scripted, generalized letter. What this letter fails to address the fact that ***************************** sent another Technician was dispatched to my home, yesterday, June 22. 2023. Upon his entrance, his Technician bought in three (3) new parts, ( main ice maker, main board and an evaporator cover), whereas the 1st Technician stated that he needed to order two (2) parts,  a main board and a new ice maker. Needless to say, yesterday's Technician DID NOT replace the items that he bought to my home, but informed me that he would have to order yet another part -a compressor, which could take **** days for them to receive. Once the compressor is received, another Technician called a Seal System Technician will have to come out to seal the unit.

      Again I would like to reiterate that this refrigerator is 7 months old, whereas I paid $2874.00, and should NOT have to have this unit serviced with now 4 new parts.

      I am rejecting this response because: Electrolux/Frigidaire certainly has a claims department that should be able to assist with the reimbursement of my food loss. This food loss is due to a malfunctioning/nonworking refrigerator.

      As I have spoken to someone name ****** this morning, she has assured me that some from the consumer affairs department will be reaching out to me to assist with this claim. Should I not reach the consumer affairs department, I will take further action with the ******** ************************* -Claims Division.

      Again, this is defective product and at some point, Frigidaire must take action for this faulty refrigerator minus the one-year warranty. As there are lemon laws in place for vehicles, there certainly must be laws that cover lemon refrigerators.

      Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to submit my final complaint with Electrolux.

       

      Last week, I received a phone call from a supervisor at Electrolux (*********'s Supervisor). During this conversation she stated that Electrolux would only be able to provide me with a "good will" offering of $250.00 for the food lost due to my non-working 7-month-old refrigerator, which is normally not covered under their one-year warranty.

       

      I told her that this was not an adequate offer since my family had to eat out each night for almost one month, which I believed that my family should be compensated at least $500.00. This Supervisor expressed that $250.00 was the most that Electrolux could provide. I stated to her that I would be contacting my local news station (Channel 6 ************ *******************) and the ******** ************************** since there was a significant amount of food lost to no fault of mine, yet to a faulty refrigerator. She stated that offer would remain on the table for thirty (30) days.

       

      At this point, I wanted to have this documented and am requesting that the BBB relay my decision to accept the $250.00 "good will" offer. At this point, I wish to have no further contact with Electrolux/Frigidaire.

      I purchased Electrolux washer and dryer 12/21/2021. My washing machine model #ELFW753AT would not fill with water giving me an error code of E11. I did purchase a warranty which covered this value replacement. I had to wait one week for the new value and when the service company came out to install, the part was faulty, and once again I have to wait another week for another value. I can only hope this doesn't happen again next week. When the serviceman opened the box with the new value, there was a "Parts Return Program" note to fill out so this company could create a better product!?! I am going on three weeks of running to the laundromat to wash clothes. Very disappointed in this company, I thought I was purchasing a dependable machine.
