I bought a new Frigidaire top mount refrigerator in December 2022 which has not worked properly to date ***** 21,2023. After numerous calls to ********** and Electrolux I still have a brand new appliance that is malfunctioning. Service calls have been scheduled and rescheduled many times and one appointment made with Next Level Appliance Repair, a contracted company for Electrolux, did not even show up or call after I waited all day for a **** appointment. Due to the ice accumulating in freezer and lower part freezing all grocery items the freezer door and seal along with a thermostat was repaired. Two days later I had the same issue so another call was made and another service call was scheduled for ***** 4,2023 and was then rescheduled for ***** 26,2023. Although I still have the same problem and now the appliance is making groaning,grunting noises and when either door is opened water drops onto the floor which will eventually cause another problem for Electrolux to repair. A refrigerator is an appliance that is used daily and required for most for daily living and I have a brand new one that has been paid for and not worked properly almost FIVE MONTHS! After phone calls that I have requested to be account noted and service calls and rescheduled service calls and inconveniences to have someone at the home at these times and loss of food items I am totally exhausted. I thought Frigidaire was a long time respected and reliable product but I have found that is not true. Who wants a brand new item of any kind that has been repaired twice or replaced with another of the same kind? My new appliance came with a one year warranty and is doing nothing but using electric power. I would have been better off using a cooler. Imagine my surprise when I filed this complaint that you have over **** complaints in 3 years and over **** in the past year! Some of the issues are the same as mine so you should be aware there's a problem and be ashamed of selling poor quality productsBusiness Response

I purchased a refrigerator from HH **** several years ago and have paid for extended warranty as I have had issues with my ice maker. I called in Jan to have warranty send repair out due to ice maker not working. They sent a company out to repair, it did not work. I called back and they sent same company same technician out. This time the guy beat my refrigerator with a hammer, drilled drywall screws through the top and completely destroyed my refrigerator all together. So instead of just having ice maker issues, I have lost my refrigerator all together. I lost hundreds of dollars worth of food. I called back warranty company sent a different company out the technician refused to touch it as there was so much damage from first guy. I was told I would get a call within a few days. I had to call in to speak to ************************* whom told me it was marked as unrepairable and that they would replace my refrigerator with a new one. I was emailed a link to agree on comparable one. I agreed and was informed I would get it within 2 weeks. Never heard anything. I have called numerous times to be told I could not be escalated to manager, and that I now would have to fill out paperwork and send in for a buyback. This is not acceptable as they were responsible for the technician. I do not have my receipt and would only get the cost of the refrigerator minus taxes and delivery install. There was nothing wrong with it besides the ice maker and no it is destroyed. I am requesting that Frigidaire replace with brand new appliance delivered and installed to me at no charge since the technician destroyed my property.Business Response

Various dates from March 2023 - April 2023 Re # - ****** and ******** We bought a new FRIGIDAIRE REFRIDERATOR on Feb. 18, 2023. It is under the manaufactor warranty which cover the entire year until Feb. ****. The refrigerator has not worked correctly since the first day. Frigidaire has sent multiple technicians to our home to try and fix the problem but none of them can fix it. I was told by all the customer service reps at ********************** that after e attempts to fix refriderator by technicians, the 3rd technician would have to call master technician at Electrox and **** the refrideraor not fixable and broken and order us a new replacement refrigerator. The last technician to come to our home, **************, came and the refrigerator still does not work. I called ************** and spoke to ****** to tell him the refrigerator is still not working and instead of calling Electrolox as per Frigidaire's policy since this was 3RD repair attempt, ****** said he could only send out the techinican again to replace a curcuit board which was done twice already! ****** also stated that Frigidaire does not have a type of "exchange policy" and that they will just keep sending out technicians indefinately. ****** would not call Frigidaire to report 3rd repair attempt failed. He was very rude and kept interrupting me and refused to call Frigidaire to verify it's exchange policy for products under warrantly. I have lost hundreds of dollars worth of food because my fresh food keeps freezing and Frigidiare will not honor their policy. Also, 2 of the repair companies that Frigidaire sent to my house were very rude and unprofessional - ************** and Total Applicance Solutions. The customer service people at these companies are abrasive and abusive toward female customers in particular. I will be contacting ***** and Consumer Affairs of ** and of *******. I want Frigidaire to give a proper working product which I paid for and reimbursement for $1000 worth food.Business Response

i purchased a figidaire fridge and a few months later the freezer started building ice causing the fridge to stop cooling. after reaching out to frigidaire they sent a tech to try to fix it. yet the problem still persisted. they sent a tech multiple times after that with no resolution. this thing has been ongoing for a total of 5 months to the point that i have purchased a small fridge to use in the meantime. calling frigidaire customer service is a nightmare, from phone calls taking one hour for someone to answer or them not taking calls due to high call volume. ive been given the run around for the past 5 months and yet this issue has not been resolved. i need your help pleaseBusiness Response

Hello, I purchased a new home 6/2021 with an Electrolux refrigerator. The refrigerator freezer bottom ice maker has been an issue since inception. The water dispenser for the ice maker always spills over and creates a block of frozen ice in the back of the freezer preventing the freezer door from shutting. I have had several techs come out for the same issue. They have all deemed this issue unrepairable and a defect. The plastic water dispenser tube is too short and results in the water spilling over. I pair out of pocket of rat first visit during that visit I purchased a 5-year warranty. After several visits I was finally given a transaction # (********) for a reference replacement review. I was told I would have to pay $191 plus tax for delivery of a replacement fridge and this replacement would void my 5-year warranty. I disagree with the offering. My 5-year warranty should be placed on the replacement fridge for several reasons. Reasons: I purchased the first visit out of pocket before purchasing a 5-year warranty, this issue is tied to the 1st visit. Second this issue was present since inception of owning the fridge.Business Response

Last summer I purchased a Frigidaire Air Conditioner unit on Amazon.com. As soon as I started using it, it had a distinct odor. Assuming that it was just a new unit and needed to be used, I continued to use it. After a couple of months it began to have an odor that would permeate the room so much so, that anyone inside would become nauseous. I contacted Amazon about needing a replacement, but because it was a third party seller, they instructed me to contact Frigidaire. I did, and they apologized and said that even though I didn't purchase a warrantee, and because they didn't have a service resolution, they felt it was best just to replace the unit. I filled out all the paperwork they provided and I have an email from them stating they will replace it. Weeks went by and I didn't hear anything, so I called back. They told me it would be shipped out soon. A few more weeks went by- nothing. I called and they gave me a number to call for the service they use- that service would deliver the replacement and install it. I called and they had no record of my replacement. I called Frigidaire back and they said that they would no longer honor the replacement. I am getting led down dead-end roads and need resolution because this odor is actually a very concerning health threat. My total was $423.52.Business Response

I have already gone through this process with Electrolux only to end up where I am now. I was told, originally, that rather than repairing the product you would just replace it. That never happened. At this point my trust has disappeared and I would like a refund, as previously stated.Im sorry but I have tried working toward a resolution with you for months to no avail.

I moved into the house at ***************, 4 weeks ago. The house came with a brand new Frigidaire refrigerator which leaked on the floor as of the first day. After 4 repair attempts by Electrolux it was declared unrepairable. We were authorized for a replacement with Lowes . However Electrolux never sent the authorization to Lowes for the correct model number and we are not able to get a new refrigerator because of that. We called Electrolux 5 times for repair requests and 4 times to request authorization for a replacement. Each time we had to wait about an hour listening to their water filter pitch again and again and again. We wasted 9 hours waiting on the phone with Electrolux and they still did not send the authorization for replacement of model GRFC2353AF refrigerator. We have been without a working refrigerator for a month. And right now I am on the phone for the 10th time, already waited for 44 minutes. I need your help with getting this replacement authorization for the correct model and compensation for being without a refrigerator for a month and losing 10 hours on the phone. I am rejecting this response because Electrolux/Frigidaire has been sending incorrect info to ****** in the last two weeks. The purchase date and the model number are wrong and ****** tells me that they cannot replace our broken Frigidaire refrigerator unless they get the right info. But for some reason Frigidaire does not take any action. I am stuck with a broken refrigerator and Frigidaire does not care. I called them and ****** numerous times with no results. The Frigidaire representative who responded to my BBB complaint is either clueless or does not care either.Business Response

I purchased a laundry center in October 2022 from my local appliance store (it is a Frigidaire brand). Since I have had this laundry center, I have been having problems with the washer continually rinsing and not going to the spin cycle. It only happens when I wash throw blankets it seems. I paid over $1000 for this laundry center and it should be able to accommodate the loads I put in. I have tried calling the customer service line to speak to someone to see what might be going on and if they have a solution and the message ALWAYS says "due to unusually high call volume we cannot take your call at this time". The number I am calling is ************. I even tried reaching out via email about 8 days ago (attached), and have still not heard anything (I did get an automatic reply saying that they received my email). I also have tried the frigidaire.com live chat, and the person is not understanding what my problem is. It is very frustrating as this laundry center is only 6 months old and I do not believe it needs a service call. I just want a live person to talk with me about this problem and give me some sort of resolution. If not, I want a replacement of the unit.Business Response

I purchased a Frigidaire range oven for my family. We bought it in March 2022. Shortly after one of the control boards, went out on the stove part. Called for warranty service. They send somebody else about two months later then it was another month until it was able to be fixed. Two months later the same part went out. It was about three months for that part to get fixed again then we had to go out again. This time was while we were out of town And over the timeframe that the warranty was expired Frigidaire did give us one more service courtesy call because I called two days after the warranty had expired. My concern comes in the future. If, in a year, weve had this part replaced three times now, and we have actually been able to use the oven and cooktop less than its actually been used. How is that going to impact the future of us owning the piece of equipment that the same part keeps going out on. At $500 a board plus cost of service fees. This is not going to be a cheap range to keep operational. I am looking to implement the lemon law on this particular unit because it has gone out with the same problem three times.Business Response

I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowes in September of 2022, and water leaks into the freezer section every day, and it is discoloring my floor. Since it is still under warranty, I have tried contacting Frigidaire numerous times with no luck. When I call, I get the message that the phone lines are tied up. When I try to chat, that doesnt work.
