      My wife and I moved into an older home which was refurbished with new paint jobs and appliances. Just a week ago, the stove outer glass (tempered GLASS!) blew out while she was cooking normal temperature foods. IT minimally cut her feet, shins, and one elbow. AFTER relentless hours of trying to get ahold of them one CSR disregarding the situation, one supervisor told us the situation would be taken care of. Unfortunately a service man came and left abruptly because we couldn't rush home quick enough! We both work regularly from *****, and he showed up at 1 and left. Regardless of warranty status, no tempered glass should do this. IF WE HAD A SMALL CHILD OR MY WIFE NEEDED STITCHES, I WOULD HAVE SUED. I'm not that *****. But either way your level of compassion is pathetic, and your service men clearly need to understand we work too! I am a manager and she works in a hospital! This is ridiculous!!!!!

      Purchased a refrigerator end of February. When it was delivered a clip was missing from the water dispenser. The water hose was cracked at the door and was water was leaking in to the dispenser electric panel. The water doesnt work and the light is shorted out. A tech has been to the house 2 and nothing has been fixed. When I call I cant get through for support.

      The purchase date on the letter issued by the company is incorrect.   Refrigerator was purchased 04March2023 and has not worked since it was installed.  The tentatively scheduled service date is just that, tentatively.  we have had numerous service dates cancelled on ** via text message with no explanation.

      Purchase a microwave on 05/07/2022. Microwave stopped working on 02/13/2023. Filed a manufacturer warranty on 02/14/2023 as my extended service agreement will not repair the item until the manufacturer warranty has expired on 05/07/2023. On 02/14/2023 the *********************************** team told me they would send me a check in 30 days as they were going to buy back the item. Since that date I have spoken with that customer service team no less than 10 times. Each time its a different excuse as to why they cant process my warranty. Each time its been they havent received my emails but after searching they find them then the buy back division of the cant be contacted as there is no direct line to reach them. Over 3 months later and I still have no check or microwave. My warranty expires on 05/07/2023. I have also contacted the corporate office and left a number for them to call me 3 times on 3 separate days. Still no return call. Horrible customer service and a horrible company to try and get a warranty repair or replacement. I need help as they wont respond to me and keep blowing me off.

      on 3-29-23 i paid in full a warranty for all parts and labor for my frigidaire microwave through this company electrolux warranty corporation representing frigidaire. I have been scammed. I called to have my door of my microwave and my microwave looked at. Something sparked and caused burn marks on the door. I am attaching the paid in full picture and the picture of the burn marks. It was a paper bowl in it when this happened with green beans in it. There is nothing wrong or that should cause this issue with my door. The bowl is microwavable the beans are too.I called this company tonight 4-24-23 to have someone come out and look at this. I have randomly still used the microwave .. hoping it hasnt sparked again and it hasnt. Knowing i had the warranty someone recommended to call have them come and look at the door and unit to make sure its not an electrical issue. The warranty should cover a replacement of the door. I did nothing wrong and its certainly not anything negligent i did or used the microwave incorrectly. The customer service person talked in circles.. told me it wasnt covered and wouldnt even get a technician to come and look at it. Then he hung up on me. I call back and a different person did the same thing. I want a full refund of my "alleged" warranty or for them to pay in full.. like the warranty says... to come and look at it and ensure the the unit has not elecitrical issues and at least replace the door for the cosmetic damage that has been done. This is awful that someone as long standing and reputable as frigidaire would have a warranty company supporting them that would treat a customer this way. Thank you for the time and any assistance you can give *****************************

      Hello.  I am rejecting this response because:  the agent from Electrolux on 1-30-23 asked me if foil was used.  I said to the best of my knowledge no there wasnt.  I further reviewed things and actually spoke to a representative again a few weeks later to understand why someone couldnt come out and look at the unit and repair it. They said because nobody can come out until my warranty was paid off in March or early April 2023. So I waited till then and called back The rep at that time again asked me the same question about foil and the answer is the same. No. When I called Electrolux 2 weeks ago..after my warranty was paid off which is what triggered me to file this complaint .. I again explained foil wasnt the cause. That something possibly shorted and could someone come and verify this wasnt an electrical issue or malfunction.  They said it wasnt covered regardless. They wouldnt do anything and hung up on me twice and never called me back .. even though they insisted on having my phone number so they could call back in case we got disconnectedTheir reply is not accurate and is spun to their favor so they dont have to pay or spend time looking at this matter or replacing the door or microwave.  50% is an embarrassing offer and negligently voiding the contract of over 600 dollars that I paid. They either fix and or replace the door or microwave fully including installing it .. since this is not my fault or customer negligence .. or this will go to a lawyer and turn into a lawsuit.  I paid money for this and they dont even have the decency to come and investigate or review it.  Good faith is honoring the contract. Not some half baked back yard 50 % discount deal.  Its not my fault if their customer service people didnt document the details correctly and its not my fault that they dont even come and look at it.  This is my stance and request. Please advise on my next steps. Thanks.  ************************

      On Feb.16 I purchased a Frigidaire Refrigerator Model # LFTR1835VF From **********************. Upon delivery, I noticed a load noise A went back to Lowes immediately and complained. I was told to contact Frigidaire @**********. I called and was told there would be a 5-hour wait. I went back to Lowes today, April 25 and was told that since it was more than 30 days, and I did not purchase their extended warranty I would need to contact Frigidaire which we did, from Lowes appliance department and was told there would be a 1,hour wait. I have a faulty refrigerator and cannot get anyone to fix it. ***** suggested I call an appliance repair company, at my cost, to have my defective refrigerator fixed

      We purchased a frigidaire refrigerator from ********** roughly 13 months ago on March 23, 2022. We purchased it for $1478.26. It started freezing things in the fridge portion about 6 months after we purchased it. Today it started making a loud noise, which sounded like loud thuds repetitively, in the freezer. Now the fridge won't stop beeping 'high temperature." The freezer is completely broken and even the refrigerator won't turn on. This item is a complete piece of garbage, and I would like a full refund for this product. I can't believe how fast it broke. My last refrigerator lasted over 15 years. This is a disgrace.

      Poor construction quality.: The product is not capable of providing minimal functionality due to defective materials and design My Electrolux Frigidaire refrigerator is 3 years old. Within months of purchase, the plastic roller wheels that support the vegetable drawers started breaking off. Most of these have now broken off at least once, and several attempted home repairs with epoxy have also failed. These roller wheels are held in place with a short sheet metal s**** which is threaded into a hole surrounded by only 1/8" of plastic. This narrow strip of plastic fatigues and will fail under normal use within a short amount of time. The manufacturer has not changed its design, and so if replacement drawers and shelves are purchased, they will also fail. Although the company's skimpy one-year warranty has expired, I am requesting the company replace the drawers and shelves in my refrigerator due to their deficient design and inability to serve their intended function.       All of the original roller wheels in my refrigerator have now broken, except for two. The product design was clearly inferior and is unable to tolerate normal usage.   I understand from reading sources on the internet that no changes or improvements have been made to the design of these shelves and drawers in Frigidaire refrigerators, so why would I want to purchase replacement products if they are just going to break again because of the same design defect?   I am requesting replacements be made at no cost to me because of their defective design.  However, if the products are redesigned so they are more robust less likely to break in the future, I would consider purchasing replacements.

      With the company having made no improvements to its faulty product design, despite their long knowledge of the fault and the existence of a pending class action lawsuit over this very issue, I see no reason to accept the company's inadequate offer. 

      Please let my complaint stand on record with the Better Business Bureau, along with those of numerous others, of the poor quality and inadequate support of Electrolux products.

      1. Item: Frigidaire Gallery 1.5 Cu.ft Over-the -Range Microwave with Convection (also known as Electrolux)Model: FGBM15WCVFB Serial: ********** paid $849 +145 for installation a) I purchase this in early Jan 2023, received and installed it in late Jan 2023 b) the Microwave nor the convection portion was working properly c) called frigidaire customer service (CS) for an appointment for a tech, the tech came over and determined that the fan and magnetometer is malfunctioning d) A few weeks later the same tech arrived with the parts, upon opening the unit he found that the fan had a broken blade, so he replaced the blade and the magnetometer c) still the unit had the same problems, so I called and requested a 3rd service visit. the tech arrived and did several extensive multimeter-type tests and could not find any issues, SO HE CALLED theHIGHER LEVEL TECH and they did more extensive tests, finally when the microwave/convection oven did not meet the advertised 425 degrees as advertised on their web page and in the manual, the higher level tech simply said that this particular model does not go beyond 325 degrees despite what is indicated in the manual and web p "the unit is working as designed" advertisement is not stating the truth to consumers 2. I called CS again at least 5 more times, finally on the 5th call customer service transferred me to a supervisor at my request, and was hung up after about an hour of waiting.4. i was told that they have no record of my chat, then received an email saying they will take no action because the unit is operating as designed NOTE: this has been going on now for close to 3 months this approaches to consumer fraud I PURCHASE THIS UNIT SPECIFICALLY FOR ITS 425 DEGREES CAPACITY AS ADVERTISED please help

      I am rejecting this response because:.. the response indicated that specification change yearly and the documentation do not always reflect that change.this is inappropriate    ..I purchase this product based on their current web site description that this microwave has a range up to 425 degrees .. but based on their technical diagnostic it only go to 325 degrees. This is faults advertisement , which is illegal. How by just saying that the documentation and advertisement is simply inaccurate and get away with this???? I bought this product for convection cooking that requires 425 degrees now I can not use this device. Please help

      Complaint ID: ************************ this is not fully resolved...the 5 days the bbb gave to respond to the resolution was not enough time to see if the solution offered by the business actually worked....it took several days to just get the retailer to respond and a few more days to attempt to hash out the resolution, apparently the retailer got a different message than what was agreed upon by me and frigidaire...they actually got a document indicating that this was an EXCHANGE .,,meaning (lowes interpretation) that i will have to purchase a similar item or same item from lowes but no refund also i will have to pay again for removal of the defective unit and installation of the new unit....in other worded i would have to pay an additional $150 along with the already $150 installation fee to return the defective unit back to lowes for required disposal according to the letter from frirdgdare ...so a recap the solution I pay another $150 and i get the same item or simular from lowes.....this is horrendously unacceptable..so i have already paid over $840.00 but i must pay an additional $150.00 for a total of $990.00.....please reopen this case....help

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that this resolution is preliminarily satisfactory to me. ..however, it depend on what they actually communicate to the vendor in the 3-5 business days and how long it takes to get that info back to **** certainly do not want to pay an additional $145 to have the new unit installed which would bring my installation cost up to a total of $300.00 which includes having the vendor to retrieve the unit so that I can get my refund .. because I had to purchase a new one and then when they retrieve the faulty one then and only then would I get my money back for the defective one..its craziness.. moreover , the bbb only gives 5 days to respond.

      I purchased a Frigidaire model #FGEW3069UFB from Lowes in March 2021. Oven worked fine until the oven cleaning function was run March of 2023. All instructions were followed per the manual, no extra cleaners were used. Following the oven cleaning the oven would not heat. Research yielded most likely cause was the thermal fuse had blown due to the high heat of the cleaning function, and in order for heat elements to work as intended again the fuse would have to be replaced. I called Frigidaire customer service and was told they could schedule a repair (2 weeks out), but cost for the initial evaluation and the repair would be my responsibility as the 1-year warranty period had expired. The customer service representative told me Im sorry youre frustrated with your unit, but Frigidaire is not responsible following the expiration of the Warranty period. This statement is not true. Companies are responsible for fixing known design flaws, and advertising a function that renders the unit unusable is a design flaw. Design/Quality deficiencies are standard from the design, development and manufacturing of a new model, but the issue Im experiencing isnt new. *** found reports on the internet that date back as far as 2021 and as of today April 22 2023 there has been no recall for this defect. I believe this to be negligence on Frigidaires part, and Im hoping I can use BBB to help me reach someone at Frigidaire who can alleviate my frustration. I had an appliance repair person service the Frigidaire unit, total cost came to $237.47. As this is a known engineering design quality flaw (advertised service that renders the unit unusable) I believe Frigidaire should, at the least, refund me the cost of the repair.

      I am rejecting this response because: *********** is not taking accountability for a known design deficiency.  Frigidaire/Electrolux continues to sell the oven with an advertised service (oven cleaning) that breaks the unit when used.  There has been no recall and no willingness on Frigidaire's part to correct this deficiency, or to acknowledge wrongdoing.  I'll ensure be sharing Frigidaire/Electrolux's response with my *******+ subscribers and also pushing for potential class action within the next few weeks.  It's disappointing that a formerly reputable brand would continue to sell an expensive product like this and refuse to take any responsibility for a valid quality deficiency - makes one wonder and assume they handle safety deficiencies the same way.  I will no longer use their products, and I'll advocate for others to protect themselves by doing the same.

      Purchased a new refrigerator delivery on 4/16/23 -within 18 hours are breaker box was tripping shutting off power to refrigerator- we believed it was a electric problem in our breaker- continually ran then breaker tripping- electrician verified it was a bad refrigerator- a lemon! **************** would not replace Sent a repair tech on 4/21- verified bad modular - to order part which isn't even available for this new model- ( if itcwas a month out!)they would not replace this under their warranty - we have spoiled food and they will not talk to us at all! This needs investigatation - the worst company Ever to stand by their name and product- 1 day and we got a lemon! Ruined food and no results! Their repair and warranty is unfair business practice!! Never again!customer service the worst and not honoring a replacement but Sent a tech who ruined the module board even more that we could not plug in to use- food spoiled and no part available for our new home without even a refrigerator since our retailer ( Lowes)pawned us off on fridgidaire warranty because they didn't want to deal with it!! And they took our old refrigerator on delivery of the new one so we have no refrigerator!!
