      Bought refrigerator on11/29/24. Quit working on 5/3/********** said they would fix it. Both days nobody showed up to fix it. Seen many of same issues on line with this company. This is unacceptable.I have already taken two days off work for nobody to show up.

      Electrolux (Frigidaire) will not fix or replace our broken Frigidaire refrigerator. We purchased it in August 5, 2024 and it broke two weeks ago May 27, 2025. My husband has called 4 times. The company continues to tell us they are reporting this issue to the escalation scheme team to find a company that repairs appliances. The one they found in ******, ** will not call us back after multiple contacts. I asked if they could check another town and they just say the same thing. We just want our refrigerator fixed.

      My wife and I purchased a Fridgedaire refrigerator for $679 plus tax on October 2, 2024. The fridge came with a one-year ************** months after purchasing the new refrigerator on May 7, 2025, the fridge quit running. The compressor wouldnt come on. I contacted Fridgedaire on this date at 9:00 a.m. and was informed that a work order had been created and a repair technician would call me within ***** hours to schedule a service call.After 48 hours and no call from a repair service, I called Fridgedairs again and was told they didnt have a technician in my area, but they would expedite my claim, and I should hear from a technician within another ***** hours. After approximately 96 hours, I called Frigidaire again and was told that a technician would call me about a scheduled May 20th repair visit. Thats about two weeks after my refrigerator went out. May 20th came, and no repair person showed up. I called Frigidaire again and was told they had another service provider scheduled for June 5th. Thats almost a month after my initial contact with Frigidaire, and my family could no longer go without a refrigerator, so I bought a new fridge and cancelled the repair service.

      It was inconvenient for me when Electrolus took two weeks to respond to my BBB complaint, and their response was just an apology. This delay was a clear reflection of the customer service I encountered while trying to get my fridge repaired. 

      Fridgidaire opened three Work Orders: May 7th 1002964928, May 20th 1003130025, and May 29th 1003237003. I have no idea why they opened three work orders, but I believe it was a strategy to conceal the slowness in their service.

      They originally scheduled repair service for May 20th with Riverside Appliance Service, who ended up being a no-show, no call. 


      Then they planned a visit with KEEPE repairs for June 5th, almost a month after I had submitted my initial work order.  


      The repair visit from KEEPE would likely require ordering parts and scheduling a follow-up appointment to complete the repairs. This issue could have persisted for six weeks or longer and is unreasonable, a breach of warranty, and a violation of our agreement that accompanied my initial purchase of their product, with the assurance from Fridgidaire that the fridge would perform as intended.


      The Consumer Guarantees Act states goods must be of acceptable quality for their intended purpose, and repairs must be completed within a reasonable time. My Fridgedaire refrigerator was neither.


      My family and I couldn’t go six weeks or more without a refrigerator, so I had no choice but to purchase another one. I do not accept their lack of solution and still request a refund of $679 plus tax.

      I am deeply disappointed by the dismissive, unfair, and unacceptable customer service response from Electrolux. Their lack of empathy and reasonable effort to support a future customer is a betrayal of my trust.


      My demand for reimbursement is non-negotiable, given the inferior and faulty Frigidaire refrigerator product I purchased from Lowe's, and the prolonged wait for Frigidaire to find a repair service.


      I find it necessary to take my consumer protection complaint to other services, including social media.

The appliance has developed visible cracks on the interior lining, which raises concerns about food safety and structural durability.Despite the refrigerator being less than 7 years old, Frigidaires customer service declined to offer any support or goodwill resolution, stating the appliance is out of warranty since 2019. I understand warranty limitations, but this appears to be premature material failure on a major appliance that is expected to last 1015 years.I requested escalation and was informed even the supervisor would not assist due to the time elapsed. No technician reviewed the appliance, despite clear physical evidence of ********* disappointed that Frigidaire is unwilling to stand behind its product quality or offer any options for repair assistance.       We purchased new appliances for our kitchen as we had it remodeled in March of '25. Included was a Frigidaire refrigerator that has been serviced once already due to an ice maker problem. It took 3 trips over several weeks to get it functioning again. It still seems to have a problem keeping up with making ice but we let it go at that time. Now it is leaking leaving a large trail of water all over our new floor probably 6 feet out from under the unit as well as being totally soaked underneath. The plywood is wet as well as the new flooring and there is some water in the basement beneath the unit. We cannot seem to even speak with anyone from Electrolux as they hide behind the walls of the Internet. We want the unit replaced before it ruins our flooring and plywood but the service company (Mr. ********** *********, **** ************) has said that Electrolux is very hesitant to do this and they even have a hard time talking to a live person. We do have another service call scheduled but had to turn the water off and start purchasing ice and water again.

      I am rejecting this response because: The refrigerator still gets stuck in making crushed ice instead of cubes and would only give crushed ice for 5 days after the service call on the 17th of June. They only replaced one of the water lines when they originally said they would replace all of them. A brand new appliance should not need this many service calls. We were having the kitchen remodeled and the refrigerator was not even put into use until a month after it was purchased as the contractor fell behind schedule. We will never purchase another Frigidaire product from now on for personal use or our 20 unit apartment building and we will be sure to put reviews any where possible if you consider this acceptable and resolved. Thank you.

      I am trying to get our refrigerator repaired. They keep sending it to the back room for it to be expedited. They keep sending the same repair service that does not service ********* because he does not want to do the Tax ID for 2 states. ****** Appliance Repair said that Electrolux/Frigedaire knows this. Each time I call, I tell them this. I have asked that a manager call and they have not returned my call either. They keep changing the reference number. I cannot get any help or service from Radio Shack of *****, ********* where we purchased the Frigidaire Gallery from. The owner ***** said he was going to contact the regional ************ has done nothing about that in 3 weeks.

      My refrigerator stopped cooling over 2 weeks ago. I contacted **********, Frigidaire, and Electrolux and the problem is not getting resolved. The refrigerator is under warranty and Frigidaire and Electrolux will not replace it until a service technician comes out but they cant find one to come out so Im without a refrigerator. I have taken a day off work already and the technician did not show. Frigidaire and Electrolux informed me they will keep trying to send technicians and I have to keep taking days off work until someone shows up.

      I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery Range on 12/4/2024. Withing a couple of months I noticed condensation forming between the glass panels of the door. I had purchased an extended warranty from **** Home, where I purchased the range. They dispatched a repairman to my home. He removed the screws from the door and opened it up. He then told me that it was a "design flaw". After his visit the problem got much worse. Where I had condensation covering about half of the window during use before, now it covers almost all of the window. I contacted Frigidaire customer service and they dispatched another repair person. He contacted Frigidaire while he was here and the person from Frigidaire laughed and said it was supposed to do that. I went back to Blvd Home and was told that since Frigidaire says it is normal for the product (although they have never heard the complaint before), they can do nothing, even though their service person made it worse by opening up the door(probably breaking a seal or moving the insulation). On May 2, 2025, I contacted the CEO ***** ********** by email, He never responded. Two weeks later copied the email and mailed it to the corporate office in North ********* no response. On May 31, 2025, I resent the email to the customer service address, no response. I understand that due t the design the issue will continue, but I would like the door that was damaged by the repairman opening is up replaced so the issue returns to where I was before his visit.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      MIchelle  obviously did not read my complaint correctly.  The door was not removed, it was opened up.  The inside of the door was separated from the outside of the door thus damaging the factory seal or insulation.  This caused the issue to worsen significantly.  I did contact BLVD HOME again and Frigidaire/Electrolux advised them that there is no issue.  They did not tell them that the repairman created an additional problem by opening the door and that BLVD HOME needed to take responsibility for the problem and replace the door at their expense.  This is exactly wheat Frigidaire/Electrolux needs to do to resolve the issue.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I never expected anything would be done by Frigidaire, due to the lack of response to my initial complaint.  When the people at the top don't even bother to respond or address an issue it is pretty well assured that nothing will be done.  The reviews I read for Frigidaire/Electrolux were very negative.  Frequsnt complaints of poor customer service and lack or response.  I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing a second Frigidaire appliance.  There will be no more.

      Bought new house my refrigerator came with the purchase refrigerator was brand new and when plugged up found not to be functional called frigidaire refrigerator was still under warranty they had bobs appliance in rocky mount nc to provide service it's been a month and they have not resolved my issue cannot store food and they will not replace my refrigerator bobs appliance has been too my house 4 times only too leave without fixing my refrigerator because frigidaire does not have correct equipment for the fix I'm out of my money and they will not refund and it looks as if I'm going to have to purchase another refrigerator it's going on 2 months now and all they say is I'm sorry nothing we can do I need a refrigerator I'm out of about 1400 dollars they will not refund and keep telling me I just got to store food how I can until they fix my issue this is not acceptable I want results not excuses

      I purchased a Frigidaire dehumidifier (Model FFAP5033W1) on May 8, 2024. I filed a warranty claim on April 25, 2025, due to a product issue. The replacement was approved on April 29, 2025 (Case #********). Since then, I have received only repeated delay notices, despite multiple follow-up calls.On June 3, I escalated the issue through Electroluxs executive customer service line. I was told the replacement unit would be delivered by the end of this week and that I would receive tracking information on June **** of the close of business today, June 6, 2025, I have not received the product, tracking details, or any additional updates. It appears I have once again been misled, despite the escalation.I am requesting immediate fulfillment of the approved replacement or a full refund, as this has gone unresolved for over five weeks. I am filing this complaint with the BBB to seek timely resolution and accountability from Electrolux/Frigidaire.

      While I appreciate that Electrolux has acknowledged my complaint, I want to note that their response does not resolve the issue. The company simply reiterated that the replacement was approved (back on April 28, 2025), and that a further update may come in 23 business days. This is not a meaningful resolution, particularly given the following:
      -I have already waited over six weeks since approval with no product, no tracking, and minimal communication.
      -The company has previously promised shipping and tracking, including via executive escalation, and failed to follow through.
      -Their latest response provides no concrete action, timeline, or accountabilityonly another vague delay.

      I remain unsatisfied with this outcome. I request that Electrolux:
      Provide immediate shipment and tracking details, or
      Issue a full refund, as further delays are unacceptable.

      Thank you for your continued assistance in helping resolve this matter.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I accepted Electroluxs buyback offer and submitted all required documentation on Monday, June 30, 2025. As of today, Friday, July 4, I have not received any confirmation, communication, or payment regarding the buyback.


      This continues a pattern of repeated delays and unfulfilled commitments throughout this warranty process. Electrolux stated that payment would be processed within approximately 5 business days. Despite complying with all of their instructions promptly, they have again failed to respond within the timeframe they provided.


      I respectfully request that the BBB keep this case open and unresolved until Electrolux fulfills the buyback offer in full and provides confirmation of payment.
