1 starI purchased a refrigerator and it is still under the 3 year warranty. The store connected me with Electrolux and I have not had good service from them. It took several weeks to get someone to come out and then they said I needed a damper replaced and rescheduled the service for one week later. Then I only received a text that the part was not in and to call to reschedule. After 2 more phone calls today and waiting for a total of an hour they said they are waiting for a gasket. That is not what the tech ordered, it is a damper that is stuck open and freezing all my food! I could not understand the people on the phone, got the run around and now they scheduled it again for next week. Really - 3 weeks with no refrigerator. This is absurd. Bad customer service, fridge not fixed and dealing with people who do not care. Do not use this company.Review fromJanice K

1 starI would give this company a zero if I could. I purchased a Frigidaire Upright Freezer from ************** Depot on 3/17/21, and it was delivered the next week. After 7 weeks, the freezer failed . All food was spoiled. Repairman was sent. Said he had specific instructions ahead of time to only to defrost the refrigerator. He was not allowed to trouble shoot the problem. I had wanted a replacement , as this shouldn't happen to a brand new FROST FREE Freezer. They refused. This happened on average twice a year and the same "bandaid Fix " was done and we had to keep throwing hundreds of dollars of food away. I called today and was offered another appt. There is no way to communicate through their call center that I only wanted them to come with the idea of repairing the problem. I got scripted answers from the call center . The appliance was a lemon from the beginning> They would not actually diagnose and repair the problem and the customer service was another waste of time> Why is this company being allowed to get away with this.. I have read many reviews like my own. Same story. I lost thousand of dollars of food!Review fromKay W

1 starI purchased a new refrigerator in March of 2023. By April 2023 it no longer worked. I called ********** and they said after 2 days the manufactur had to repair. I called Frigidaire and they sent a repairman. He said the compressor was faulty and it could not be repaired. He told me he would file the paperwork and they would send me another one. 2 weeks later I had not heard from them. Since then I have called them a total of 22 times. I am now without a refrigerator for 2 months. They tell me that they will buy back, however the refuse to pay the taxes I paid on it, they refuse to pay to have it removed. Everytime I call they are rude and mocking, they also refuse to pay for the ruined food. . I have Never experienced such poor customer service. I am elderly and on a fixed income. Frigidaire/Electrolux has to be the sorriest business in the world. Please think twice before buying their product. Who let's the elderly go 2 months without a fridge?Review fromAbraham M

1 starAt the end of the day, once the company has your money thats what counts and youre on your own No body cares. Purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator for 2K plus paid an extended warranty for it. Received the refrigerator within a week five days later refrigerator is not working $150 of groceries spoiled down the drain $2000 refrigerator sitting in my kitchen, doing nothing calling warranty, Frigidaire for hours and hours and hours on hold when finally get a technician to come over to fix my refrigerator he comes barehanded just looks at it and says its not good. Followed by more weeks later still the refrigerator not working call again for hours and hours on hold. I have another technician coming out to do nothing. . Whos hold accountable no one! 1 starIce maker in the Fridgidaire refrigerator was purchased with the house. ElectroLux was called 3 times in 2 months to come service Is leaking running water in the floor,freezing in a sheet of ice but not making any cubes. Technician deemed the ice maker repaired only to leave the water running on the floor. called ElectroLux at ************. They said that it take 4 visits from a "certified" technician to deem this ice maker "UN-repairable" before they replace. We must continue to let the water run on the floor,To damaged before tech declares un-repairable. It is obvious that the technicians are unable to repair the ice maker and informed the unit cannot be replaced.Requested ANOTHER service call ,it takes 3 to 5 business days and then AFTER they receive it, WE need to call them AGAIN to schedule an appointment. They would put in a ticket with A&E it will take at least 24 hours for response. They threatened me, saying that I can either accept that they will NOT be out there today and it will be tomorrow, or I can refuse the service call altogether and they will not come at all. The ElectroLux tech will be unable to come until the **** 19th. This is not 24 hours, it is **** 12th.called ElectroLux again. There isn't a technician available from AE in our area. This company is in ***********, one technician for the entirety of *****. Filed complaint about services. She refused to file my complaint unless the floor is ALREADY damaged and was unwilling to give me the phone number of the service company. I did find a phone number for AE; little good that did, that number hangs up on customers no matter which of the 3 options selected. *********** chat, who said they have no record of the ice maker actually leaking water, and technician declared the maker repaired after literally spending 10 minuets "fixing" leaving the premises with water leaking out all over the floor. Then directed to ************ corporate. Call back in hour and speak to supervisor.Review fromMichelle C

1 starI purchased a brand new refrigerator in mid April. Had to wait a week for delivery and when they set it up it was not level and rocked and the doors would not open and close properly. The doors were uneven. It could not be adjusted because the assemblies were defective. I had to wait a week for some one to come, then another for the.parts to arrive, then another because wrong part delivered. Then another because it still was not right. Ultimately they left my refrigerator sitting crooked and unlevel front to back and side to side and kept sending the same person. I spent 20+ hours waiting for someone to come, on hold, people not showing up, etc. The last time he just took pictures and said it was my house that was the problem. I had to pay someone out of my pocket to set it up correctly. They would not replace it nor reimburse me for having to get an actual qualified person to do it correctly. The refrigerator itself is "crooked" but at least now the doors do not slam and things fall over in the fridge and it is leveled much better. I will never purchase a Frigidaire again! 1 starI purchased a Frigidaire dehumidifier, 50 pints, model number FAD5033W1. They sent me the wrong dehumidifier-a smaller 35 pint one (considered a medium sized one, as opposed to the large one) and would not take responsibility for their mistake.Despite an hour phone call with 4 different departments including a supervisor&16 days of communicating with **** of the Frigidaire Store, the only thing she ended up offering me was the $40 -the difference in price. The medium-sized one is inadequate for the size room that I need. So now I have spent twice the amount of money I would have. I have filed a dispute of their charge with my credit card company. We will see. The Frigidaire website states the following: " In the case where an incorrect item was shipped, we will send out the correct part at no charge." The reason **** gives is, There is a time window for returns, which is why we would not send out an appliance at no charge. I know if an item is defective, they will take the return outside of their allotted time window. Also a lawyers interpretation of the *** law where they address the company who sent the incorrect item is the following: "If the unordered item was an incorrect fulfillment of an order the customer did place, you are legally required to send the correct item . . . You can ask the customer to return the item, but he has no legal obligation to do so."From the Federal Trade Commission's, consumer.ftc.gov, website, they write, "When You Get Unordered Merchandise: [Y]ou never have to pay for things you get but didnt order. You also dont need to return unordered merchandise. Youre legally entitled to keep it as a free gift."BBB in case my credit card is unable to permanently refund my money, could you help me ideally get a refund of the money I spent when they sent me the incorrect item and thus allow me to keep the incorrect item, or at least let me return the incorrect item and get my money back? 1 starTerrible, received a damaged top rail to a window ac unit which doesnt allow me to insert the side panel because the top rail is damaged. I just opened the box last weekend and they tell me there is a 7 day warranty from the time it was delivered. It was delivered in mid May. Unfortunately for me I didnt need the ac unit until now and its past the 7 days so they wont replace it. They tell me I can buy it though for $50. I dont think so. Shame on them. Ill just return the entire unit minus the top rail. Never buy Frigidaire products seems other people have issues with this company as well.Review fromCynthia A

1 starIf it was possible to give Frigidaire a ZERO for customer service I would. It just plain pitiful how much they lie to you about a supervisor will do this or that, then theyll replace your product. Ive been on phone dealing with all these lying associates for 3 weeks now about a no good refrigerator that weve only had 6 months, that has stopped working!!!! REALLY!!!!! This company doesnt stand behind its product at all. I wouldnt recommend buying anything from them EVER!!!!!! 1 starNewer Frigidaire Refrigerator (2020) is a LEMON.We chose Frigidaire due to the multi-year warranty advertised on the internet. Then our 2020 Frigidaire refrigerator failed after only two years. The warranty only covers the parts and not the labor. You also have to pay $100 for an Electrolux technician to diagnose. We did so and were told that we would have to pay for the compressor parts (surprise!) as well as the labor (total approx $500). When we called Frigidaire [back], we were told that sometimes they covered parts and sometimes they did not cover parts. This was vague and contrary to the multi-year warranty touted on the internet. Concerned about the negative footprint created by poor quality [*********] in concert with their {Electrolux/Frigidaire's} disinclination to stand by their product. Refrigerators were once built to last. Not anymore, apparently. We would not make this purchase again. Very poor quality. Disappointed. ****
