      Awful. The reason they ask at the beginning of the call if you're in a safe location is because they know you'll be there for several hours. I can't imagine the clown factory that's handling their communications. An hour after you place the call, they update you with an estimated time for someone to arrive. That time comes and goes. Not wanting to be an unpatient customer, you wait an extra 45 minutes and call back. That's when they tell you the company that was supposed to respond can't send anyone for another 3 hours. What? Where did the estimated arrival time come from? What if we hadn't called and followed up, ourselves? Was anyone going tontell us this? Our initial call was around 7am on a Sunday. How busy could anyone be at that time? Not loving being on the shoulder of a high-speed highway in the rain for multiple hours waiting for them.

      1st filed a claim w/AAA on 12/3 5:20p, needed a tow, alternator went out, rcvd update be there around 8pm. Well I had my Dad pick me up, since my husband is a double amputee, couldnt have him sit out there until 8pm. So was approved for unattended tow, left key under the mat, as instructed, then rcvd an automated call, car is in que not sure what that meant, called back around 7:45p, they advised NO ETA is provided on unattended tow, seriously would not have left me key under the mat, thought it was priority, NOPE. We set up an appt for Monday 12/4, between 6:30-8:30, prior to me going to lock my car since it wasnt going to be picked up anytime soon... The tow of my car went off without a hitch on Monday, great service was provided by ******** Towing Service. My Dad called to complain about how awful the service was, as he purchased the plan for me. He spoke to a Supervisor ***** 12/4 based on the awful experience we had received at that time he offered $20 compensation, however mentioned speaking to his Supervisor, as that was unacceptable, never heard back from ***** or his supervisor to this day! We are asking for further compensation, as we have been paying for the service for years, and when you need it this is the level of service provided. Very disappointing experience to say the least.

      I scheduled an appointment 24 hours in advance for today from 4-6. I physically pushed my car so that I could get it turned around and push started to take it down to the bottom of the hill. I turned it facing the road to make it easy to tow. When I got off work, I went down and sat with my car for my appointment. No one came. No one called. Their app kept saying We are on our way; I tried to check for updates and got nothing. At 5:30 I called and got sent a link. A link! The link did nothing. We are on our way. I called you; the lady said Oh, the people we contracted with said they couldnt make it. She knew that. AAA knew that. No one called, or apped, or nothing. She said Dont call us. Well call you. Some time later, a young man called. Oh, this is terrible. Im so sorry. I will fix this. Dont call us. Well call you! No one called. Yes, someone did. Customer ********************** called; she asked me if I was happy with the service provided! I dont think so. More Im so sorry. Let me schedule your appointment for in the morning. I am a public school teacher. I cant do it in the morning. I told her specifically to schedule for from 4-6 tomorrow. What does she do?! She schedules it for 2:30. I cant be there at 2:30. That is why we agreed on 4:00. I have been with AAA for nearly twenty years. I seldom use towing services - maybe twice - but when iI need It - I need the services I pay for. I do not get it. If I thought it was a simple mistake or an anomaly, I would understand. However, it seems a not. The BBB page is littered with complaints such as mine. We belong to AAA because when we need you, you are supposed to be there. When you are not, it is not just bad business. Lives are at stake. You must do better!!

      I've been a AAA gold member since 2011, yesterday around 7pm my car key broke inside the ignition cylinder as I was leaving a Store in ************. I called AAA and submit a request for assistance. I was told I would get an SMS update once they would locate a locksmith. After 3hrs of waiting, without an update, I called back to follow up and was told that they did not have any affiliated locksmith in the area. At no pointI received an apology for my 3hr wait with no help and I was told that I could call someone out of ******* this was at 10:25pm on a Saturday night. All this great customer ********************** was from the supervisor in charge. So glad I've been paying all this years to get piece of mind that when in an emergency I would received assistance. Needless to say, I would not renew my membership and will share my experience with everyone I know.

      I placed a service request at 4:30 this afternoon to have my car towed 10mins into town. It is now 9:30 at night and they still don't have anyone assigned to tow my car or any sort of ETA. ITS BEEN 5 HOURS! And I still have no information whatsoever. It is honestly ridiculous and disgraceful. I'm lucky that I have someone who was able to get me and take me home as it is below freezing outside, and I would've been stranded. I'm beyond disappointed.

      I have never had such a horrible experience. Why does it take 8 + phone calls to get membership cards that expired in March. AAA had no problem in debiting my account at the renewal in March of 2023 but can't seem to send physical cards. Every rep that I have talked to has the same script. "I have ordered cards, it will be **** business days." As of today, I still don't have cards, the people that were supposed to call me back are conveniently on vacation and there is no escalation process. They will for sure not get a March 24 renewal

      Can I give negative stars? My son was left stranded in ********. I went to pick him up and called AAA. I was told the tow truck would be there in 5 minutes. Called AAA back after ************************************************************* the queue and someone would be calling me. This back and forth went on for three hours. At 2am I made calls to tow truck companies myself. When my son called them back they told him that I had refused all help offered. I immediately called them back and asked them what their problem was. I was told that I was still in queue and they would let me know. I canceled my service and waited the ten minutes for the truck I called.

      HORRIBLE. We have been waiting three days for a tow of my Mom and Dads car. They have hung up on my wife three times! Supervisors were worse than customer ********************** agents. *********************** was a total waste of money! Customer ********************** agents were irritated by the fact that we expected them to do their job. Told us they would refund our money and theyre done with us. And my parents car is still sitting along the roadside. Biggest waste of money ever!

      Called for stranded vehicle at 11:30 am in large metropolitan area. 8 hrs later, still stranded. They said I am in a safe location, so low priority.
