An entire trip was booked and paid for through a AAA agent and there was an error with every one of our airline tickets and hotel reservations. We were unable to board the plane because despite paying for the ticket, the agent forgot to give us seats and the airline could not do anything about it. AAA has no after hours or weekend support to fix the issue. An entire trip ruined due to lack of support and planning. Do not book anything through AAA, you may not get to experience or even attend the trip planned.

My AAA insurance claim experience was so bad that, when I cancelled the policy, the agent who sold me the policy told me he probably would have done the same thing. It took about six months and the desk adjuster repeatedly ignored me, so I often had to ask my agent to contact her for me. After a hailstorm, AAA agreed to replace half of the roof (overlooking hail damage on the other half) and told me to repair the siding, but wouldn't replace it. That type of siding was no longer manufactured and, after repeatedly explaining this to the desk adjuster, I threatened to file a secondary claim because the interior water damage was visibly worsening. She still refused to replace the other half of the roof and changed the reason every time we sent in pictures to answer the previous reason. She also refused to issue a denial of the supplement request and told me in writing that she would not issue a denial letter. She sent an engineer who claimed that there was no hail damage anywhere on the roof and issued a strongly worded denial letter, although she did agree to replace a roof vent that she had previously claimed was only damaged after the inspection. The engineer's report was dubious and it referred to 3-tab shingles, but the roof had architectural shingles, and this was not the only flaw. I reminded the adjuster of her earlier written statement that she wouldn't issue a denial letter, but she said it didn't count. After completing the approved work, I sent in pictures and receipts and asked for payment, but after multiple emails and five weeks of waiting, no payment was sent. Through my agent, I threatened to report it to the state, at which point payment was sent with an apology for the "oversight." After completing a post-claim survey, I got a call from the adjuster's manager who defended the decision. I asked for evidence of the engineer's expert credentials, and he sent the engineer's own resume which showed no training in roofing or construction.

I contacted AAA for a simple service request. Unfortunately, my car battery died and needed a quick jump. They informed me that there was a high volume of calls, so I understood. However, I contacted them at 8:30pm, didn't receive a call back until 4:30am!! (8hrs later) If I knew it would've took that long I would've asked 911 for assistance, instead of wasting money on roadside assistance! I'm a patient individual, but I had my small children with me, and to think of waiting for 8 hours was impossible. Thankfully, I was able to get someone else to help me. I am now afraid to use AAA for future services because this situation was absurd! There is no reasonable explanation why someone couldn't get to me in a timely fashion! Just close your business at this point if you can't service your customers properly.

We have been members Since ****. Recently we need a tow . Once calling the 800 number we were given a link to request service, it was not user friendly. After following the prompts it never gave us an option to submit. I called and selected an update on service in order to get a person on the phone, she was somewhat helpful after I explained the situation. She entered a request for tow. We never received the tow. We waited about 2 hours and were in a position where the gate was being locked. Luckily we managed to get the vehicle started and we went home. I am very dissatisfied with this service now that it has gone very impersonal.

I'm currently sitting on the side of interstate 95 with a blown radiator, in a pretty big city. After waiting over an hour, at 10pm at night, they just informed me they are unable to secure service in my area. So after paying for their service for years, they say I'm just out of luck. I will be cancelling ASAP, and please don't rely on AAA in a pinch!

Just don't get stuck on the road in an emergency.. I've been a member since 1977..seldom using their services until the last few years .needed a jump and no one ever came although I was assured someone was being sent. Not even a phone call to inform **** have enjoyed trip ticks and friendly service at their offices in earlier years, however very disappointed last several . Just recently blew a tire on a very busy interstate..called 45 mins after first call to find they canceled my request!! After apologies and promise help was in the way. . an hour later nothing and another call and promise that I was prioritized... I'm stranded with a totally blown tire, in a very unsafe place. .. the agent recommended I call 911!! He did call and check on me half hour later at my request, when... Finally after THREE. . 3 plus HOURS..I was helped. I don't think Ill be renewing after all these years as any other service is not worth the service I need the most. I've invested a lot of money for more than 40 years to be so let down and stranded.

Do you really need AAA!

I'm a *** Plus member, been with them since ****, I've recommended them dozens of times to friends. Last night was the first bad experience I've had with them. After four hours, Tow truck never showed up. Couldn't get a person on the *** number. The automated system was useless. Ended up leaving my car on the side of the Interstate for the first time. Had to find another way to get it this morning. No one called me back to check on things like they used to do. Needless to say, I'll be online today looking for a different company to do business with. It appears that *** Carolina's no longer values it's members.
