      Called in for a *****/19/23 at 2:47 they told me I should be getting a text from the tow company to let me know about arrival time, AAA said they should be there around 3:59, 3:59 went by no text or call from tow company. Called AAA was put on hold then a different person picked up and again was put on hold, then they hung up on me. Called again finally got a dispatch person, who informed me it would be another 30 minute wait got off the phone with him called the tow company they told me they just got the order 5 minutes ago. we have a fleet account and pay alot of money for this service. I just hope you don't treat all of your customers like this stranded on the side of the road.

      The absolute worst. We pay for premium AAA so this wont happen. It includes towing up to 100 miles. *** broke down 74 miles from our familys house in ** on our way back to FL and we requested to be towed back. We have been sitting on the side of the road for 3 hours. Spoken with AAA CAROLINAS 6 times. Each time we were told wed get a call back in a few minutes. No call, call again. Same story over and over again. Finally we find out they have us having requested to be towed all the way to ********* even though we gave them the full address in VA. Were told thats the hold up and of course that well hear from someone in a few minutes and of course dont. The last call we made we were told after another 15 plus minute hold that where we were didnt have any of their providers and so theyd need to hire someone and so theyre waiting for approval. No one could have told us this 3 hours ago?! NOW. We are paying a fortune to have it towed on our own, have a family member driving a 150 miles and back because the 3 of us cannot be transported weve lost the whole day and will need to stay another night because we will not get back in time to get the car to the garage. Its costing us a fortune AND were both losing a days work tomorrow. This company is shady, dishonest and a bunch of c*** WHICH I EXPECT FAR MORE FROM as its AAA. Thats the point of having PREMIUM AAA?! If I could leave 10 NEGATIVE STARS for this sham of a AAA company I would. And file a class action lawsuit as apparently this is how they treat pretty much ALL of their customers having now seen the reviews. If you cant trust AAA who CAN you trust? Nobody cares and theres not a thing we can do about it if we break down in the Carolinas.

      Where do I start, AAA Roadside services at one point were reliable but now they are unreliable and not trustworthy! On 12/15/22 I called to have my car tire changed at approximately at 12:30pm, the first update said someone would be there at 2:00pm. Approximately 4:00pm no more updates and I decided to call AAA back for an update and I found out that the service call was not even dispatched. Finally at 7:00pm someone came to fix the tire. I am from a family of 7 and none of us will ever deal with unreliable AAA again! Also my disabled mother who has been a AAA member since **** has a vehicle I was informed by there unprofessional staff that because she not with her vehicle that I am using for her is not covered although I have her Drivers license and AAA card and the vehicle is registered in her name. If anyone is reading this review stay away from AAA, use roadside assistance on your insurance because AAA is a big scam!

      I upgraded to plus to get better service. AAA service response times are horrible! This is my 2nd service call this year. The 1st time no technician called to state they had been assigned the service request even after 2hrs. It took about 6 hrs to get my service call done. The second is going to be around 4 hrs to receive roadside assistance! This is just unacceptable!!! Customers are paying for a service we are no longer getting regardless of which plan you're in!

      We called AAA the morning at 9:30 to request a tow to a mechanic roughly 18 miles away. We specifically requested a flat bed due to the our trucks size and being 4x4. We were told some one would call and our wait would be roughly 2 hours. Not what we wanted to hear but we accepted and waited. Around 1 pm, much later than first advised a smaller hook style truck came. Obviously that was not what we request and would not work. The driver stated he would have a flat bed dispatch. Its 9:12 pm to be exact, 12 hours later, at least 1/2 dozen call to the 800 number, and Im still waiting. I even talked to a sup and still no explanation, apologies, or reimbursement for this deplorably and unprofessional service. No one Ive spoken to has any answer, and Ive waisted my entire day. Ive been a member since **** and plus member since 2011/2012. I will not renew my membership/subscription and hope this company shuts it door. If that cant do better than this, then they really should consider pad locking the doors. For all those wondering if you should seek a membership I advise you to avoid this scam because this is truly a scam and the worst customer ********************** Ive ever experienced, EVER!

      AAA is a joke. Wish I would have never rejoined.On 12.14.2022, 8:27pm my car stopped in a dark area; it was cold and rainy. I phoned for a tow and the representative didn't seem to confident in her abilities. She sent the link of the live feed with the time of arrival. After about 20 minutes of the driver not arriving, I called back. This representative apologized, informed me I received the wrong time, and that they do not use the live feed after 9pm. So, at 10:02pm, the driver phoned me, asked if I still needed the tow. I informed him yes and he states he is at the QT; not where we are. So he was "supposedly" calling dispatch to see where the mix up was. He never called back. So I call dispatch, inform them of the phone call. The rep puts me on hold for 20 minutes, and then hangs up. I call back and get the best rep of the evening. She was very help and attentive. I believe she tried her best, but it was the tow company. Needless to say, they never showed up that evening and I had to have a friend come out at 12:15am to pick us up. The name of the tow company is Towmark. I had to go back the next day and have my car towed. They actually showed up and that company is Rescue Recovery Tow. I still plan to file an official complaint with AAA because I have never seen or experienced anything like this. I plan to find another roadside assistance company.Can I leave 0 stars????

      AAA Carolinas are useless and a waste of money. Here is what happened on Sunday, August 21st, 2022. Called for roadside assistance at 5:56 pm and received a message via text. A text was then received at 6:22 pm that a technician would arrive around 6:46pm. Contacted AAA at 6:51 pm and advised them nothing was updating on the link. Received a text message that a agent would respond shortly. 6:58 no contact or message 7:04 no contact or message Finally talked to someone and was informed they cancelled, and the caller said it was missed and apologized. AAA representative was trying to get authorization to allow me to call a towing service, but could not get authorization. Final call said I would be contacted as a towing service was being called. 7:54 no contact or message, I sent a message that I was contacting a towing service on my own. 9:35 pm I was contacted by a non contract towing service and they were there to get my truck. I explained to them what I just wrote to you and they said that is typical! The entire time of this occurrence a bad storm was going through the area. This is not what I expected from AAA. I would like reimbursed for the entire $200.00 please. I found out on December 5th, 2022 my request was denied on October 22nd. I didn't receive any notification! Very POOR service.

      They are very thorough. ***** (*******, *************) checked me in, changed the tv channel so I could watch my soaps and explained everything to me. This personal attention means a lot! Oil change, tire rotation and battery replaced

      Signed up for the driving school online course. For days I called, emailed, texted bc I needed assistance in the course and got no response. Went to my bank to dispute the charge since it could not be completed and I wasn't getting any help. It was reversed then over a month later was charged for it again. Why??? You didn't help and just stole my money!!! You all are thieves. I want my hard earned money back!!!

      Four hours for a tow. I will be looking for another roadside assistance service. Car issuepulled into parking lotcalled AAA at 5:15 p.m.then rcvd text saying truck would come at 8:32 p.m. (**** hours later). I sucked it up. At 8:30 p.m., I called them (they did not have the courtesy to call me) and they said it would be another 30 minutes. The on-line tracker showed that the truck was not even on the way yet. Thirty minutes later, with no truck, I call again. They tell me itll be another 15 minutes. The truck comes 15 minutes later. The gentleman handles things competently but says, Sir, I see where this says youve been waiting four hours. I only got a call 15 minutes ago. Ive been a AAA member for 33 years. I have a Plus membership. Added a family member. Dont use roadside assistance much. Live in an area where there are plenty of tow trucks. I remember when you could get assistance within an hour. Im not doing this anymore. AAA seems only to want to prop up its institution. It doesnt care to radically improve its awful service for customers. It bears responsibility ultimately. It may take some work, but I will find a better roadside assistance service.
