      AAA was called 24 hours ago for a locked vehicle issue. Robocall call every hour or so to tell me they will be here soon. Never comes. Is it really worth the annual membership. Nope. Scam

      Increased rates on auto insurance every year; NO points on license & NO claims! Paid auto premiums every month automatically charged to credit card. Before cancelling my policy, I tried calling my agent ********************************* MANY times. He NEVER answered or returned a call SO I switched policies saving hundreds of dollars w/ Progressive and cancelled my AAA at a local office IN PERSON. A month later I received a cancellation notice from ********************************* even though I had already cancelled a month earlier. NOW 3 months after cancelling AAA auto ins in person ********************************* sent me a notice of turning me into collections for nonpayment even though I have PROGRESSIVE now for 3 months! I still have never spoke to this ********************************* AAA agent!****************

      The one time I actually "need" this "insurance", they left me on the side of the road for 3 hours without a new update. I finally called someone myself and got someone here to resolve my problem in less than an hour, while AAA still was leaving me hanging. Forget this "service".

      We are very sorry we did not get to you in a timely manner. If you paid out of pocket for a service, please go to aaa.com and print off a Road Service Reimbursement form and submit that to us with your receipt.

      My wife (age: 78) and I (81) were off the main road in 15" snow in ********** area, and unable to move the vehicle at 10:30 pm on January 15th. As a premier member for 20+ years, I expected reasonable action. We had no food, no water, and my wife spent a lot of time, scared, crying, and praying, while I kept assuring her, "I will get us out of this situation". I expected AAA to respond within a few hours. 11 hours later we were able to contact a local independent man with a 4wd to pull us up and out.Here's my complaint: AAA did not respond !! 1 week later, on January 22. I had a message from AAA wanting to know how they could help me?????After all these years, I find no need to continue paying a fee for a non-reactive, care-less company.

      I WAS a big fan of *** and I had recommended many of my friends to enroll with ***. Now I would call them to apologize for making such recommendation. This is because of what I experienced on Jan 23rd, **** after making a *** service request at 5:32 pm EST from a parking lot of a mall in ****** ( ************************* mall). My tire pressure was low and then suddenly car battery also died so couldn't start the car. Between 5:32 pm and 9:32 pm EST I must have made 5 or more calls to *** and spoke with numerous representative who kept saying driver is en-route and it would be a tow truck from ********** and repair services. I also had to engage an escalation manager who made another *** service request to expedite it. Neither requests were full-filled. I was left stranded in mall's parking lot. Mall closes at 7 pm and I and my wife were still in parting lot alone. I called uber around 9ish and guy was kind enough to take it to a near by gas station from where we bought a cable and he helped do a battery boost and we reached home at around 10:15 pm which is just 5 miles from the mall. We were exhausted and out of water, food etc. for almost 6 hours since left home. Luckily it was not snowing or anything, but it was still cold. "But imagine if it was frigid cold and if child was there inside the car." I cancelled both the *** requests which was still not fulfilled after I fixed battery issue myself.The moto of *** should "we are there when you are stranded", isn't it? But here an Uber guy was there for me and not *** to whom I have paid for membership. Your management is intelligent enough to make whatever decision they have to make to improve experience of any other future customers. I thought I give my feedback so no body has to be in the same situation as me, provided that if you guy want to take this complaint seriously and make some improvement. Suggestion, don't depend on 3rd party company & use your own towing staff/vehicle and act responsibly.

      This is to express my disgust and anger with the poor (or lacking) service provided by this agency for a serious event occurring Thursday to Friday December *****, 2023. My son experienced a blowout tire near ******, ** around 9:30pm Thursday and found his spare tire was also flat. A call at 9:45pm to AAA requesting a tow to **********, ** resulted in a response from a nearby private service center (M****M*** Towing) without a tow truck to service the spare. At 10:00pm the serviceman determined the spare was not repairable/functional so a tow was again requested about 10:00pm. No tow truck every appeared. After numerous contacts over the hours (as the temperature dropped to below freezing) with apathetic AAA operators, my son did talk to a AAA agent named E** who did express sympathy for the poor service and initially could not understand why a tow truck was not sent until he dug into the call history to confirm no tow truck was requested by the previous uncaring operators. As the hours passed and the temperature dropped, at 4:30am Friday, AAA ridiculously recommended a tow to a nearby hotel to stay until a tow truck could be summoned at 630am for a pickup! Brilliant! The supervisor at M*** ****** expressed total amazement and dismay at the poor service, and brought my son a biscuit and beverage to confirm his well being. My son endured nine hours of solitude in rural ** in freezing temps because of the dismal service of AAA. If this had been a family member of less intestinal fortitude resulting in a personal injury, a lawsuit would be forthcoming. AAA then called and offered a discount on next year's renewal. Needless to say, Premier membership means nothing to the card holders and I will not be renewing my membership next year.

      Ive been a member for years, and always had outstanding service, until recently. I called on January 4, 2023, because I needed a new battery. First, the customer ********************** rep told me that I had no service calls remaining, and would be charged $100. (Not trueI had all four service calls available). After having the service rep read back my cell phone number, I waited, and received no texts or phone calls.I called *** back at around 4:00, to find out why I hadnt heard back from anyone, and was told that the texts were being sent to my landline, and anyway, *** did not deliver/install car batteries in my area. (Also not true, maybe the customer ********************** reps should read the *** website).Then I was told a mechanic was on the way, and would replace the battery, however, when the mechanic called, he said he didnt have a battery, and was told to just come jump start the car. I told him not to bother, because the car would just be dead in a few hours.Then I spoke to a manager, who told me that another mechanic was on the way, to install a new battery. When the mechanic called, I asked if he had a battery, and was told, he didnt know, but thought he MIGHT have one in the back of his truck. I told him to check, and not to bother coming if he didnt have one.He came anyway, and, in fact, did not have a battery, but insisted on checking my battery to make sure that was the problem. It was (I already knew that!). Fortunately, he was able to contact the shop he worked at, and a guy showed up, and installed a battery.I called *** today, because I wanted to make sure that I wasnt charged with 4 service calls, due to their own incompetence, but the person I spoke with couldnt tell me that, then transferred (disconnected) **** could not find any email to submit an inquiry (or a complaint), which is why Im posting it here.

      Do NOT recommend AAA. Have been waiting 19 hours for roadside assistance. Pathetic! I was told the service had the day off! Unacceptable.
