Ordered a dryer from ** and selected a delivery date. Didnt know they contracted through RXO. New delivery date was set for 2 weeks after we ordered. RXO changed the date by a week. We received the delivery window the evening before between 3-7pm. Its a new house that were slowly moving into and currently live over an hour away. They showed up 1.5 hours early. Instead of checking in to see if they can come back later, they are returning the item back to the holding center and we have to select a new date. When you call the available number, the representatives are incompetent and keep transferring you back to ** instead of trying to solve the issue.Business Response

Lowes/RXO delivery driver caused $3,600 worth of damages to my yard and sod. Filed a claim and was denied due to the driver saying he got my wife's permission. He lied and he didn't. When I confronted him on the phone he admitted that. I am going to continue to seek reimbursement for the damages done to my property and RXO and ***** negligence to own up to their own mistakes. My family purchased a washer/dryer from a major brand. The last mile delivery and installation was through RXO. Delivery arrived in the stated time window. We advised installer not to connect hot water line. They attempted to connect it against our advice and broke the water pipe. We had to shut off water to our home that has a toddler. Installer promised to have someone stop by the same day to repair the water pipe and gave us their number. Seven hours later we texted and called. We have not received a response and are still without water. When we contact RXO for a solution or update only to be told to wait for an email. On April 16, 2025, RXO delivered and installed a new GE washer at my home in ******, *******, on behalf of Lowes (Order #******************). Within minutes of the washer being turned on, it catastrophically failed flooding my upstairs laundry room and causing water to leak through the floor into the kitchen ceiling below. This resulted in significant property damage to the ceiling drywall, baseboards, electrical fixtures, and flooring. I initiated a formal property damage claim (Claim #******) with RXO on April 21, 2025, providing written statements, photographs, and a request for a licensed contractor to assess the ********* of April 30, 2025, RXO has failed to:Assign or send a licensed contractor to inspect the damage Provide any written response or acknowledgement of our repair request Communicate a decision about claim responsibility or status Refund the $116.98 paid for installation and haul-away, which was not completed properly My wife received a phone call from one of the delivery drivers stating the issue may have been caused by a manufacturer defect. However, RXO has provided no evidence confirming this or absolving them of liability.Desired Resolution:1.Formal response from RXO acknowledging Claim #****** and responsibility for coordinating repairs.2.Assignment of a licensed contractor to assess and mitigate water damage at RXOs expense, or authorization for me to hire my own contractor and submit the invoice for reimbursement.3.Full refund of $116.98 for the failed installation and haul-away service.4.Written determination or documentation clarifying whether RXO or the manufacturer (**) is being held responsible for the damages caused.We are willing to cooperate and resolve this amicably, but we need RXO to engage in the process and uphold its responsibility as the delivery and installation provider. I am rejecting this response because:On May 8, 2025, I received a phone call from Mr. *** ****, Senior Director at RXO, who oversees delivery operations for the state of *******. Mr. **** acknowledged the communication breakdown and apologized for the delay in addressing the matter. He provided his direct contact information and confirmed that RXO is now actively pursuing resolution.
During the call, Mr. **** advised us to:
1. Obtain a professional quote from a licensed contractor of our choosing to assess and document the full extent of the water damage.
2. Ensure the contractor performs a moisture test on affected drywall and structural elements.
3. Email the formal quote to him at ******************************************************************************************** for claim processing and comparison with RXOs selected contractor (to be assigned shortly).
4. Visit ********************** and request a refund of the $116.98 installation and haul-away charge as an XDT refund, referencing ***** (XDT Manager) at ************ for any questions.
Mr. **** indicated that RXO will also arrange for their own contractor to inspect the property and provide a quote. Assuming the estimates are in reasonable alignment, RXO will move forward with repairs or settlement.
While this case is still open, I do appreciate Mr. ***** personal outreach and willingness to correct course. His involvement has opened a direct line of communication, and I am hopeful we will now be able to bring this matter to resolution efficiently.

Good afternoon Ms. ******************** writing to provide an update on BBB Complaint #******** regarding RXO and our ongoing effort to resolve property damage stemming from a failed appliance installation.
As of May 14, 2025, I have been in direct contact with Mr. *** ****, RXOs Senior Director overseeing Georgia operations. Mr. **** has confirmed that he is working to coordinate a qualified contractor to inspect the damage at our home and that he is pushing for the delivery team to utilize their insurance to resolve the claim through the proper channels. He indicated that a contractor may be assigned as soon as this week.
Additionally, I was able to secure the $116.98 refund from Lowes for the failed installation, with guidance provided by Mr. ***** I appreciate that communication has improved, and I recognize the efforts being made now to move this forward.
That said, no contractor has been scheduled yet, and no insurance contact or repair plan has been finalized. For this reason, I respectfully ask that the BBB keep the complaint open until a formal inspection takes place and we have clear next steps regarding liability and repairs.

I have had multiple issues with this transportation company. They do not have integrity. They caused close to 20k in damages to my property and it took me a year of fighting with their insurance company to pay out the damages. The deliver driver did not have integrity and advised the side of my barn that was damaged simply just fell over despite evidence showing the snagged a power line that was of the legal height and violently ripped off the front of the barn. I ordered a 3D printer from ****** who unwisely selected RXO as the shipping agent. I was told from ****** I would have the option to pick up from the carrier (from multiple representee's). When speaking with RXO they advised this can't happen. They are not welcome on my property and if they do show up will be charged with trespassing.Business Response

RXO delivered my washer and dryer April 15th an hour earlier than scheduled. Once here, they made many scratches and dents in my walls installing the washer and dryer. They took a photo and left without letting us know. They didn't test the washer or dryer to make sure it was properly installed and didn't let us know they were finished. I noticed a massive dent in the side of the washer, but before I could even let them know, they already disappeared and left.We turned on the washer and the pipes were not properly installed, which caused water to burst all over the place damaging my walls even more. We had to buy tools/parts to properly install the pipes. Then, when we did a test cycle, the washer shook so hard that it cracked my floor and caused the foundation upstairs to crack. Come to find out, the delivery people didn't take out the delivery bolts, which is supposed to be done as part of the install. They left the tools there saying they didn't know what it was for and just left. We ended up having to remove the bolts to make sure the washer didn't shake so violently.All in all, it seemed like the people delivering the appliances didn't know what they were doing. They plugged in stuff and made it look "finished," took a photo, and just left. This on top of the fact they ruined my walls simply by just placing my washer and dryer in the laundry room. Please see photos for proof. This was all taken immediately after they left. It seemed like they wanted to get out of here ASAP without making sure everything was properly delivered and installed. I tried to reach out to them, but they drove away before confirming they were done.I filed a claim for the damages but have not gotten a response back other than a claim number.
