*********************! ************ use to be the best on the market and they decided to cut corners at the expense of the customers. Heres what happen to us and thousands of other customers:We own a new construction home that was finished in 2018. The coils died on us within the 1st year and it was, luckily, covered under warranty. Well, it crapped out AGAIN. When I called and asked why my coil keeps dying they had no answers. I asked what my options are and they told me to just replace the coil. If it craps out again, we would be responsible again. We are looking to completely get rid of Trane altogether. We are not paying $2200 every year to replace a coil has been proven faulty.

I purchased a complete 2 ton system October 2020. Until yesterday I have not had a problem. The service tech found the system low on Freon and found a leaking coil. I was not too worried becoming I knew the parts were covered for 10 years. No big deal I would be out of pocket for a little labor to replace it. ****** I was fooled! I owe for shipping the new coil, then the bad coil, vacuum, torch, Freon, and labor. $950. This is certainly a bill Trane should cover and not a customer who gave thousands of dollars for their system only 3 years ago. After reading about their customer service I may be getting a window unit because it looks like this will take a while. I will not be a victim since it seems the chance is high that the next coil will do the same thing.

I purchased a new high-end Trane AC and gas furnace system for $12K in August of ************************************************** July of 2023, less than two year later, the outside coil failed because two parts were too close together causing it to melt a hole in the coil. All of the coolant leaked out. Because it is more than a year, Trane will only cover the part, and I am left with an almost $2500 bill for labor and coolant. Trane offer to cover 10% of the cost. ComfortMaster basically said I could care less about installing a c*** system, and required full payment.A *************************************************************** dealer to fix and not the homeowner.

Trane's product and service is the absolute worst I've experience with any company.Upgraded my 2-Stage 2-Zone 5-Ton to a variable speed XV18 on April 5, 2023. The coil was bad out the box. After replacing the coil and TXV the system started blowing cold air, but the zone board, thermostats and dampers wouldn't communicate. Trane's tech support then advised to swap the XL1040 with a XL850 for a XL1050 ************* Zone2 thermostat pairing. The thermostats still say linking to the zone board was successful but after initiating it would say it's disabled. Four different techs got frustrated and left to talk with Trane during business hours. As of today July 17, 2023 the initial install still doesn't work in this ***** summer heat wave.Completely unacceptable, but the absolute worst thing about Trane is there warrant customer relations. I can only assume they know the product they sell is junk, so they don't provide a way for you to talk to an actual service technician. Instead they hire friendly folks Trane likes to call "Customer Relations" to be nothing more than an answering service to type up your issue, provide a case#, and take the brunt of very angry customers with nothing they can do for them but say, just keep waiting and when your case goes from level 1 to level 3 it will be escalated. Isn't 3+ months on a $20K system grounds for immediate escalation? I also explained how having a house in the high 80's low 90's is a loss of life liability with my elderly father-in-law on multiple medications with pulmonary health issues and required breathing treatments several times throughout the day. Trane's customer relations response was I'm so sorry and understand your frustration, but just keep waiting and eventually someone will address why our product doesn't work. Even with the time gone by I'm just a level 2 concern. I ask for my case# manager name to share with Trane's fairly new ECO *********************** but they refused to tell me. Just the worst!

Purshaef new 1.5 ton split unit and condenser (compressor) has already failed. Unit installed April 4th, 2023. I live in ****** and it will be about 110+ THI and they tell me it will be here Wednesday of this week, it failed last week at same time. They installer) said it had to be shipped from CA to **. That makes no sense-common 1.5 ton unit made in *****, **, 100 or so E of ******. I called customer relations at ******************** and got a case number after giving voluminous information. Nothing can stop a Trane except less than 90 days use, but it does run-technician told me it ran great BACKWARDS.

18000$ 5 tone 22 seer ac system and we have every 3 months a technician here to fix it .., in ******* ..this is only the sales person that make ******** r you get the best ac that you can have on market right now .In reality it's worst than any 6000$ normal system. In other words a pice of c*** technology . Imagine after you pay 18000$ to pay every 3 months 100$ for someone to come to see why it stop working . Worst mistake that I make in all my 54 years of living

My Trane AC unit is 4 years old, and it is not working properly. One year back tech changed a part under warranty, but I have to spend money for labor. Now again it is shutting down by itself. I called tech again and he changed some part. After one month the unit again stopped functioning. Today this unit is shut off itself several times. Trane is a very bad product. Trane should honor their warranty. They should replace the unit. Very unhappy customer.

This company sells junk with built in obsolescence. Recently my three year old heat pump had the blower motor and compressor fail. Rather than bandaid repair what is clearly a flawed product, I replaced the entire unit with another brand. Trane used to have a good reputation. Not anymore. Will never buy another Trane product as they are money pits.
