Absolute junk. My home is 3.5 years old. The compressor had to be replaced at 3 years. Today the coil in the air handler has to be replaced. Keep in mind this is a seasonal home, thus usage is less. Both items above are covered under warranty. BUT, labor is not! ***** labor for compressor, ****** labor for coil. Includes Free-on. Located in **. My brother had home built by **** in fall of 2019. Deeded to me in 2022 due to his passing. Now Trane claims as second owner, warranty is reduced from 10 years to 5 years. Never again will I purchase a TRANE product. *********************, **

Absolutely will never use this company again. I had a new unit installed just over 5 years ago, the coil had a large leak in it, my A/C guy was told 4 weeks to get a warranty part or new unit. In South ******* they know you're stuck. I was told I could wait that amount of time or install another brand. I paid $4500 to have a new unit installed and will be rid of Trane forever. A company that doesn't step up and back their products are the worst. I will tell everyone at our condos board meeting about the kind of company Trane is.

I have been waiting for an American Standard step motor for my HVAC for 8 weeks, since mid-December.. My HVAC heat pump system is under warranty and as a customer of ********************/*********************************************, I would like to be respected as a customer, which is not happening. My HVAC installer/repair company in ****** **- one of the best in *************- continues to hear that the part is on back order. I have been through two freezes that threatened the water pipes of my home. I have moved space heaters around, kept the fireplace going and generally lived like a late 19th Century pioneer. This company does not even deserve the one star I clicked above. They get a below zero rating and I will never buy one of their products again.

This company is horrible, absolutely horrible every comment that has been made is true. My 80-year-old mother has been without heat for 3 months now and all they have done is give her the run a round. They have been lying to her about a part that was supposed to come back in October they have been dishonest and deceiving. The part that she needs cannot be found in the US and they stated recently that it would take 999 days to get the part. Would they do their mother like that, h*** no! She has had the furnace for 5 yrs, we want a new furnace or the money back to replace it. Yes, I agree this 2-tier and 3-tier is BS. My mother did not do her research and so we are not stopping until she is compensated for the misery she has gone through. The dealers are out of **********, **. We are taking this up the ladder and contacting the local news to show how awful this company is and how they treat older adults on a fixed income. We will be getting a lawyer for sure. This is a terrible way to treat people and your customers.

On May 16, 2022 the coil of my AC unit was leaking and it was replaced, I was charged at that time for the labor $1,016.00, less than a year on December 23, 2022 the new coil was leaking, once again the coil was replaced, Trane sent a new coil with no charge, but I paid again for the labor, $1,072.00, I called the Trane Company, so they can be responsable for the labor cost, because it is not fair to pay for the installation two times in the same year, for the same problem, the answer was that they cannot be responsable for the cost because the warranty expired, regardless of the warranty, they have to be responsible for sending a coil in good condition that does not give problems in 7 months and take responsibility for the costs that this problem gives to customers.

You can stop a tranedue to a faulty component and then not be able to repair it due to the part not being available. We have been without heat since October 10 2022 and it is now December 20th 2022. I give your company an F- and 2 thumbs down. Also ending your auto emails with warm regards is not a good idea especially when the customer is trying to keep their pipes from freezing because you have no part or integrity as a business. WTF? ********

Bought a 4 ton "top of the line" variable speed fully computerized TRANE XV20 for a little under $13,000 on October 2019. It only took 2 years before an avalanche of problem started. Control unit defect, was replaced under warranty. System started heating while in cooling mode. Cause: outdated software. Update fixed the problem. Also, refrigerant was low. Tech added three pounds and suspected a leak somewhere. $500. After leak detection was run the whole condenser unit ($6,000) had to be replaced under warranty but the work plus the removal and refueling of the refrigerant cost $2000. Three weeks later heating came on again. Tech diagnosed faulty solenoid valve control. Was overruled by Trane (warranty issue) to install new wiring harness instead. After one week same problem again. This time solenoid was finally replaced. When hosing down the condenser unit (Airmasters of TampaBay Senior Technician) outside circuit breaker tripped. System shut down and could not be restarted. Circuit baord got fried despite surge protector. Replacement not before 2-3 weeks!!!!!!Trane products seem to be of very poor quality and it takes forever to get replacement parts. Living in ******* I am dependent on a functioning AC system 24/7/365. I have a twice a year service agreement in place for routine maintenance. My recommendation is: Stay aware from at least this Trane model. Too much software, high dependence on intra-system communication, poor overall product quality, severe supply issues re spare parts.

Purchased an American Standard HVAC system in September of 2020 and on the first year the *** Board was proven to be defective. My thoughts were this is ridiculous its a new unit. Fast forward to ************************************************ my evaporator coil was defective. The labor alone was ***** dollars. Do better and stop outsourcing parts to be manufactured in other countries. Yes the part is warrantied, but the labor and freeon are not. Not to mention health issues I may have been exposed to because of the freeon. Never purchasing from the Trane Company again.

Run from this Trane! Bought three new systems and have had nothing but problems with the unit cooling the main living area. Most recently the motherboard went bad and there is no answer from Trane when the part will be available. 14k down the tube! Their customer service just passes the buck and you cant get in contact with the individual who is the supposed hold up. At this point its better to just get a lawyer involved and recoup the cost of the system and find another manufacturer. Dont make the same mistake I did, find anyone else!!

I have used train all my life no I am old. Never again will I but Trane, like so many below I spent my hard earned money on a high end Trane unit expecting to save money and for it to last. 3 years old now and on its 5th compressor and 2nd air handler. They have a known issue with compressors yet are doing nothing to resolve. The worst part of the experience is their customer Sevice. The customer service reps that answer the phone are nice but not helpful, once your case gets moved up to tier 2 or tier 3 customer relations they are even less helpful. You cannot call them only email them and wait for the to call you. Thier only job is to frustrate you and drag you along u til you give up. This is the worst experience with any company I have ever had. Buyer beware!
