Moved into Brea Village Wendell NC, on of Bell Partners properties in Feb of 2022 after selling my current home. Put in a notice to vacate the in Nov 2022 under one of their options for leaving before the end of the lease which the lease ended Feb 15 2023. Moved out on 12/27/23. Talked with someone at the time who was filling in for the manager who they said was on leave. I think they had 3 managers in the short time I lived there. Asked her about cleaning and she said they had someone who could come in and clean along with cleaning the carpet for $155.00. I signed the paperwork for the cleaning and she said they would add the charge to my portal. I went in the portal in Jan and paid my Jan rent because the property had not been rented yet to along with paying the cleaning fee charged. in Feb I went to the portal to pay the remaining 15 days left on the rent. I was not able to access the portal. I assumed either they rented the apartment or would send me a bill. I received an email fromLevida L** on 3/20/23 with a final bill attached . the bill had the final rental payment along with final utilities charge which was fine but they were also charging me $1010.00 because they stated the carpet was worn beyond repair and the carpet had to be replaced . the carpet was not worn beyond repair. It was only me and my sister living in the apartment and we were only there living in it for about 9 months. it was normal wear and tear and that was it. I called Levita L** on 3/21/23 and she stated she would send me pictures. I received the pictures and could not see anywhere where the carpet was that worn that it had to be replaced . in fact the move out inspection sheet that was done by the apartment complex states that the carpet only needs a deep clean which I paid them to do. The carpet cleaners put a recommendation on their paperwork but that is a recommendation and did not say it was necessary. I should not have to pay for it

Absolute worst property management company. I would tell everyone I know not to live in their apartments. I have lived in my apartment complex since 2021. When I moved in, the apartment was owned by another management company who were amazing. I signed a lease renewal and then Bell Partners bought the apartment building. It has been an absolute NIGHTMARE living here since then. I have had constant issues with my apartment - broken AC, cockroaches, water leaks. Most recently - my upstairs neighbor had a water leak which damage my apartment. I lived with mold in my apartment for over a month while the office and maintenance staff refused to help me. The maintenance crew “forgot” about the work that needed to be performed. The apartment refused to let me out of my lease. Once they finally started to work on the damage after a month, they did not provide me with a hotel to stay in as the work was being performed, even though I was unable to stay in my apartment. The property manager refused to take my calls. When she returned my multiple calls 5 days later, she was completely unhelpful and even hung up on me in the middle of our conversation. I reached out to the regional office who failed to return my messages. The most overpriced apartments with terrible customer service, failure to provide timely maintenance, and cheap repairs when they are finally performed. Do NOT live in apartments owned by Bell Partners.

      Hello ******,
We strive to provide our residents with exceptional customer service, and we are saddened to hear that your experience has been less than exceptional. I sincerely apologize for the delays in the completion of repairs inside of your home. I understand there was a leak that occurred in your apartment on February 12th. Records show that the leak was repaired within twenty-four hours. However, there was a delay in the completion of sheetrock repairs inside your home, causing mildew to form in the affected areas. On March 10, The contractors removed and replaced all affected sheetrock and baseboards. Management also scheduled contract cleaning and duct cleaning to ensure that your apartment was back in it's original state. I understand that you reached out to the Manager on March 7th to discuss your concerns, but unfortunately, she was out of town. As soon as she returned to the office, she returned your call and scheduled repairs to be completed on the following day. The Manager was unable to release you from your lease contract but did offer to transfer you to a different apartment, offered to pay for movers, and offered to pay for hotel stay while the work was being done. Customer service is a top priority here at Bell Partners and our representatives would never intentionally end a call or hang up while conversing with a resident. According to the Manager, she was under the impression that the call was over after she had provided you with the Regional Manager's contact information. When you called back, the Manager apologized and informed you that she thought the conversation had ended. The manager called you back yesterday in an effort to resolve your concerns. We truly value your prospective regarding the concerns you have listed and would love the opportunity to rectify this situation.

I have lived in an apartment that is open to the elements since Christmas Eve.
It started on December 24th 2022 when we received a mass email that expressed there was pipe bursts at a number of apartments. I was out of town, and did not receive direct communication so I assumed we were in the clear.
This was not the case. 4 days later I arrived home to chaos. When we first walked in, we saw the couch had been moved and rug rolled up into a corner. Upon further inspection, my bedroom received the worst of it. My things were thrown around the room. My laptop ruined and tossed on my bed with mud on it from somewhere. And the weirdest part: fresh white paint on my ceiling and on my clothes that were beneath where they attempted to cover water damage. We were informed our fire alarm had been going off for 4 days, and whoever entered the apartment, ripped it out of the ceiling to stop the noise.
We have lived in an apartment without a fire detector since December. In January we were told repairs would start immediately. It took until mid January for anyone to show up to rip out the ruined walls and ceilings, and rip up my soaking wet, now mildewing carpet. The restoration team that entered included a worker that chose to smoke illegal drugs directly outside of my apartment.
The restoration team tore out walls, the carpet, and ceilings and then left. It is now February 27th and no one has returned to complete the job. The entire ceiling is open to our balcony (which that ceiling also caved in while we were there) therefore we have been living in a freezing cold apartment where only two rooms can be utilized.
We have begged to talk to upper management, called the office to no avail. Being told “there is no one else to call”. We have gotten zero response from anyone other than our own office on site. Which frankly, are the only people who seem to care what we’re going through, and are sitting ducks getting ridiculed because their higher ups will not take responsibility.

This management company is literally the worst management company in the world. Issues - including health & safety related concerns - are ignored for months. Complaints to on-site staff are never addressed and any attempt to contact the parent company falls on flat ears. I have sent them a dozen messages and never heard back.

They don't care about their tenants, they are irresponsible property managers and they should be avoided at all costs.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I understand that you have experienced issues at the property that have not met your satisfaction. We would love to set up a time to speak with you to address these concerns in deeper detail as we want to ensure you experience a hassle-free living environment.

Sure, that's not a problem. I left about a dozen messages with my contact info and all the details of what has been going on on your website. Please feel free to respond to any one of them at any time.

Negative Stars should be an option: Terrible location, unprofessional management and complete lack of care for residents. We are forced to pay for a delivery service that loses more packages then they deliver. When we file complaints we are only told they will forward an email to someone. I've personally lost 20 packages in less than a year forcing me to repurchase at my own cost. Our building security is not only laughable, it's unprofessional. Doors are broken and unlocked allowing outside elements to roam our building freely. We did not have a handy man for several months and have had broken garage doors for just as long with no fix scheduled. When we ask about it we are told that they are finding another vendor. During this time vehicles have been broken into and vandalized. The Cameras on site do not work providing no recourse to help file claims and again, management is not proving any indication that they are liable or willing to fix them. Regardless of cost, this apartment complex is substandard, run very poorly with little to no professional respect from the management company over it. Like all things at this properly, I don't expect a response or even an acknowledgement of the issues.

This company bought and ruined the apartment complex i lived in.
After the new management team took over they forced us to use a delivery service Fetch (1 star on BBB btw) to handle our packages and insisted that they are “reputable”.
When i complained that to them because the service they forced us to use mishandled my package, they dismissed it suggesting that’s my problem.
This company’s management want nothing but milk money from you, stay away from the places they own

      Greetings,

Bell Terminus partnered with Fetch to provide our neighbors and future neighbors with the convenience of having their packages delivered with ease at their most opportune time. How it works, you order a package it is sent to the Fetch fulfillment center until the resident schedules the package for delivery, at the time chosen by the resident. Bell Terminus agreed to this partnership, in part due to the immense amount of packages received on a daily and due to packages being lost or stolen. For the most part, Fetch has been a success for those who are using the system correctly. Fetch and Bell Terminus has a partnership, however, lost or stolen packages, missed appointments, etc. Is not a reflection of Bell Terminus and or Management. In fact, all correspondence and communication is between Fetch and the resident; management does not take part in the delivery, scheduling, and or ordering process.

For further questions please reach out to us directly.

      Sincerely,

      Bell Terminus Management Office!

so i got a response from Bell Terminus and it perfectly proves my point. The management won't recognize they problem they cause and won't take any responsibility.
      The highlights:
"Fetch and Bell Terminus has a partnership, however, lost or stolen packages, missed appointments, etc. Is not a reflection of Bell Terminus and or Management. In fact, all correspondence and communication is between Fetch and the resident; management does not take part in the delivery, scheduling, and or ordering process."
So they forced you to use a terrible service that caused so much trouble, but it's not their fault or their responsibility for your loss or your unpleasant experience.
"For the most part, Fetch has been a success for those who are using the system correctly."
yes yes yes the service Bell Terminus hired is so great (1 star on BBB and Google btw). Must be the resident's problem when it took Fetch two extra days to process your packages; Must be the resident's fault when Fetch's driver failed to show up during the schedule time; Must be the resident's 'incorrect usage' when Fetch failed to deliver but give them no choice to reschedule.
Jokes aside this line itself shows how Bell Terminus's management team won't own their failure and would instead blame their residents without a thought. Keep that in mind when you seek a new apartment to live in.
Below is the full response i received.

THIS COMPANY IS JANKY **!!! THEY TOOK OVER MY APT COMPLEX AND EVERYTHING HAS WENT TO ****!! OUR COMPLEX DOESN'T GET CLEANED, THE COMPANY THEY SWITCHED TO FOR TRASH CONSTANTLY DROPS BAGS OF TRASH IN RANDOM PLACES ON THE PROPERTY. THEY FIRST CAME IN A INSTRUCTED THE OLD LEASING AGENTS NOT TO ALERT THE TENANTS THAT THEY WERE BOUGHT BY THEM. THEY SENT A LETTER 2-3 WEEKS AFTER TAKING OVER THE PROPERTY. ALSO, WHEN THEY TOOK OVER, THERE WAS NO WATER/SEWER/TRASH BILL THAT MONTH, ALL TENTANTS WERE ASSURED THAT THEY WOULD NOT BACK DATE IT AND SNEAKY THE CHARGES AT ANOTHER TIME ON OUR BILL.. GUESS WHAT? $95.00 POPPED UP EXTRA ON OUR NOVEMBER BILL. THE LEASING AGENTS "CLAIMED" THEY WERE TOLD IT WONT HAPPEN EITHER AND THAT THEY'RE SORRY THIS HAPPENED!!
IF BELL PARTNERS TAKE OVER YOUR APT COMPLEX, RUN ASAP OR LEAVE ONCE YOUR LEASE IS UP!! BAD BIZ

The worst location and organization I've dealt with in years. 4 months and 6 separate work orders to get my flooring fixed (displaced for over 35 days on my own dime) I was offered to move. The only place available was 500$ more per month. No reimbursement for the time spent in hotels or couch surfing with my service dog provided. Now they force residents to use the service FETCH which has lost 14 packages and counting, again, no reimbursement or even a sorry from PK or FETCH. I've escalated 10 times to site management with minimal response and several times to corporate with Zero response. Stay away from this location and this company, they do not care about their residents. Regardless of cost, live anywhere else, the worst...

This company has put me through so much. They have constantly changed the move in dates for a new complex causing additional distress after I already dealt with them at another property. They had us sign a lease that’s now invalidated due to them breaking their contractual obligations. It’s not worth it to apply to or live at any of their apartment homes
