1 starVery unresponsive. No one answers the phone and when you leave a message they never call back. The installer showed up and hadn't bothered to make sure he had all of the parts to do the installation. The installer was also not able to use their computer correctly. Took multiple calls to get the installer back out to do the job and still did not have the parts he needed to complete it. 2.5 months later and it is still not completeReview fromJohn E.

1 starWanted a "0" star rating. My wife and I had purchased a refrigerator (online) and requested delivery. We received another email with an updated ETA that the fridge would be delivered on Friday from 9:30 to 1:30. By 4:00 pm, we had not received the refrigerator. We called Lowe's customer service and were told they had contacted the dispatch company XPO (X-Poligistics). XPO had recommended that we should reach out to the company for further updates. XPO advised that the driver would be calling us as to an ETA. At 6 pm, XPO called to inform us to reschedule the delivery date to next week, either Sunday or any day next week. We asked to speak to the manager, but he would give us a call. We are very disappointed with Lowe's and XPO's customer service and lack of consideration for the customer. This is an example of poor business. We all know things can go awry on occasions, including traffic jams, illness, etc. But keeping customers informed on the status of their delivery would be deeply appreciated.Review fromJennifer M

1 starHusband purchased a window a/c unit on site. Fairly good customer service. He paid for the unit and installation. Here's where it gets nasty. Lowe's subcontracts their installation with a third party through Angie's ***** HANDY INSTALLATION. Our first a/c unit didn't work, so we called Lowe's store, and they couldn't help us. Corporate was wonderful, and scheduled a replacement and installation once again. Lowe's would never correct our home address in their computer, so delivery of the unit was delayed (the address they had in there system didn't actually exist). Then came installation: Three scheduled no show/no call, showed up with no product installations, and 3 weeks later, they finally showed up and install the unit. To sum up: Lowe's managers, excellent. Lowe's Corporate, excellent. FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING - GET RID OF HANDY INSTALLATIONReview fromCathy B

1 starBeware of the Lack of **************** I am writing this review to bring attention to my experience with the customer service provided at ********************** Home **********************, LLC, *******************************************************************************, at the actions of their store manager, *******************. I am referring to his services on July 9, 2022, which stem from services occurring July 6, 2022- July 8, 2022; his act of calling the police. I'm not a criminal, no crime commited; but was a mad and disappointed customer. **********************/Manager had a duty to me as a customer to act in a way that did not cause me to become injured; Lowes/Manager committed a breach of that duty; injury occurred to me; and the breach of that duty was the proximate cause of me injury; emotional injury. They had had 3 attempts on delivery, but due to their incompetency, a successful deliver was not possible. While in the store, I was surrounded and confronted by 5-6 police officers. One approached me and asked if he was here for me. I said I dont know; I didnt call you. He said the store manager called them, and said he had an irate customer, regarding a refrigerator, and he wanted me to leave his store; no $2500 refund offered. Outside 6-7 police cars for no crime or criminal; nothing illegal, officer never asked my name. Yes, I was mad, and very direct with store manager *******************, due to his arrogant behavior, tone, and body language. But I had been more than patient with ******** Lowes on their unsuccessful delivery attempts on 7/8/2022 and 7/9/2022 of my refriegerator and range: 1st only my range, 2nd pickup truck delivery with laying my refrigerator down, 3rd attempt, prongs broken off refrigerator due to mishandling on pickup truck... replacement not available for 2 months. Appliances bought for new house. Contacting Corporate only got reprimands and training ordered. Lowe's not the problem, manager ******************* and associates were. 1 starTLDR; Lowe's doesn't care about their customers, holds their money hostage, and has policies designed for customers to incur additional risk.In addition to the poor service described below their policies are designed to put the customer at risk and protect their bottom line.I ordered a refrigerator from Lowe's for almost $3k The delivery window was days away and we lived out of a cooler until then. When the refrigerator was finally delivered the delivery guys were not that great. After 2 hours they finally got the new fridge in and the old fridge out. They forgot the water hose, and did not install the handles but told me I could probably do it myself. As I began to look for the handles, I realized the handles were not there. Lowe's did not deliver the handles to my fridge. That night at 9 pm before Lowe's close I sped to the store to get the water hose. Once I got the hose I attached it, and began using the water on the front of the refrigerator. It poured out like a waterfall.So I call Lowe's. they say they will send someone out to fix it. The same delivery guys come out, they still do not have the handles, and they take a look at the fridge and say it's a manufacturer issue.So I call Lowe's. After being on hold for multiple hours I finally am talking to someone that says they can come and pick it up, leave me without a fridge, process my refund, and then I can use that money to buy a new fridge. That is the policy apparently. So in order to not be without a fridge they inform me I could purchase a new one ahead of time. So spend another $3k for a total of $6k and then wait for the refund. I asked them to just bring a new one and swap it out, but store policy is they need to receive the broken fridge before issuing a refund. If Lowe's can't be without $3k, then investors need to ask some serious questions. I'd like to say my story ends there, but the 2nd fridge broke, and a 3rd fridge is involved. Called Lowes: was told they would do nothing because purchase was on credit card & not Lowes card. I was not informed of this at purchase.DO NOT SHOP LOWES!! 1 starBought a fence and paid by check. No communication and finally got to install date and no one ever showed up. No calls and no explanation. Was told there was no one else to install.Asked for a refund and was told I couldnt get it until the installer brought back the materials. To date, he hadnt brought the materials back. The install was to be done July 7th. Didnt get a refund for a full month. Now, I have to stay all over again with another company. If you are thinking Lowes will protect you from shoddy contractors, think again. They will throw you to the wolves.Review fromJohn B.

1 starBEWARE!!! DO NOT "HIRE" LOWE'S TO REMODEL ANYTHING!!!!They will gladly take your money, but then they push the job off on whatever contractor they can find and then completely leave you to deal with everything.I paid nearly 20k to get a Kitchen remodel. At first Lowe's is friendly and helpful; then I paid them...Then...nothing. Months later I have kitchen cabinets still in my living room. The contractor Lowe's hired turned out to be just another "middleman" who farmed it out to another contractor; who then set up install date's instructing me to remove everything from kitchen the night before; then didn't show. Twice...yep. Weeks would go by; they would reschedule; then not show.Finally after repeated, daily calls to ANYONE at Lowe's; they promised a new installer would be contacting me. Weeks went by. Nothing.Tried to get refund. So far nothing.My only option at this point is legal action against Lowe's.I will NEVER deal with Lowes again and I strongly suggest (and hope) that no one who reads this will choose Lowe's to remodel anything.Truly a poorly run company that does not care a bit about the customer or their reputation.Review fromKathleen H

1 starWe purchased a toilet from Lowe's in **********. We also purchased an installation. The installation was scheduled for about a week after sales, July 27. A couple days before scheduled installation, we received a text that it was rescheduled for Aug. 2. This too was rescheduled for Aug. 5. On Aug. 4, another text was received saying that it was cancelled. We called to try to get resolution. ****** assured us that it would be rescheduled and we were a priority. On Aug. 8, we had to call as the Aug. 12th installation was cancelled. A ****** set up a three-way call with their installer and I was assured that someone would be here on Aug. 12th at 10:00am. On Aug. 10, a text came in saying that the install would be between 11:00 and 2:00. On Aug. 11th near end of the day, the install was rescheduled to Aug. 17th. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! We have rearranged our schedule a couple of times to be home for the repeatedly cancelled work. It was paid for July 20, 2022 and we still do not have it installed.The one star rating is being generous. The phone helpers were nice but nothing is resolved.Review fromShuane H

1 starI purchased a protection plan from lowes. When I filed a claim, I had to wait 3 weeks before someone could come out to service it. Man came, reset it, and left. I tried to wash clothes and it was still not working properly. I have to wait even longer to get someone to come back out to try to fix it! I am getting the run around. I have bought several appliances from Lowes and purchased protection plans. I feel its a waste of time and money!
