1 starI purchased an outdoor ceiling fan + installation. I received the fan. On the day of installation, no one showed up or called. Two calls to Lowe's and they're like, "That's Handy, not Lowe's."I lost a day's wages and I'm stuck with a fan I can't install. The "Handy" guy got paid though. ??Review fromJoshua T

1 starBUYER BEWARE! Lowes gave my information to a company called ************************** (www.myfewa.com). This is what happened. I went to Lowes.com, and had scheduled for a new water heater to be purchased from them and installed. I receiving a phone call from a local company ************************** (FEWA). Their sale person said they represented Lowes. He even wore a Lowes name tag. We made a purchase and we were also scheduled for an installation. They then called back asking if we could have the installation done on 8/5 instead. So at their request, we changed the installation date. Their window to show up was from 2 - 4 pm. That time came and went with no contact from the company or the installer. Mind you, they made great efforts to contact me before my purchase and to change the install date. Their **************** hung up on me twice. They then put me through to the install department. Who picked up and hung up the phone on me. Eventually, I got through and they showed no real concern over the issue. I explained to them how they wasted my time and made me use my vacation for them to be a no call/no show. "All I can do is reschedule you." I contacted Lowes and let them know. I am also scheduled for the same date as the original install. As a corporate Manager, this kind of disregard for your customers; time, money, and experience is indicative of a poor leadership. Since, incompetence was shown at various levels of the company I would say it does bowl down to leadership and company culture. BUYER BEWARE.Review fromPam B.

1 starI ordered windows from Lowe's, ****************, in *********, ******** in September of 2021. Windows were installed in January of 2022. All but 2. When contractors were leaving I asked about the two windows. They said they knew nothing about them. I also had a broken window over the sink - the spring on one side was not installed and the seam on the other side was split. It has taken by 8 months to get this resolved -numerous phone calls to Lowe's customer service department and an in-person visit- where I was told that they were aware of the situation and even had an alert that the project was 128 days overdue but no one did anything to follow up on it. I have been paying for this project for almost a year now and it is not completed. I have been told I can file for compensation until the project is finished. I would not recommend Lowe's for any large projects you might have for your household. No one wanted to take responsibility for any of this until I made myself a bit of a pain. 1 starLowes ******* ******** store, I ordered a dishwasher, they never notified me when it was in, then made multiple appointments to have it installed, then just told them to bring it and I without having it installed, Mix up on day of delivery and they didnt bring it, asked for a refund and was told multiple times it would be not be a problem, still havent received the email confirmation on refund, very poor serviceReview fromjulie g

1 starWhen I thought things couldnt get more messed up. In fact they have and I am telling everyone and strangers as well not to purchase any appliances from Lowes. The customer service is nonexistent!! Two weeks I have been trying to get rid of the wash machine and dryer that I bought. Yesterday I find that not only did the 3 party delivery didnt call but they were trying to deliver another wash machine. Seriously!! I have a dented wash machine and a dryer that is not working why would I want anything else?? Corporate needs to come down a notch or two or more!! This is ridiculous maybe all those positions that are needing to be filled can use some upper advisors to get out on the floor and see what is happening in the real world. I work 6 days a week and earn everything I have worked for. I hope that no one gets such a swelled head or pocket book from astronomic salaries for sitting in on meetings that are pointless. I challenge the white collar workers to step down and take a look at the poor customer service that is being dished out to hard workers like me. Taking off from work to get an appliance delivered that is damaged and not working. I am not salary nor is my husband. Need to get rid of the 3 party delivery the communication is horrible. This is the 3 letter I have sent. I have left call back numbers a couple of times and yet no one follows through?? So done with this joke of customer service. Just remember in business you can advertise all you want but for every commercial you spend I can do more damage 10 times fold with social media, and basic contacts. I have already had people thank me for sharing and chose to go a different direction. I might just be one person but there is always the story of Samson and Goliath. Just got a call from the Warrensburg Lowes. I had called them yesterday and explained what had been going on and I am rather insulted by the 10% discount since you company offers more of a discount during special event sale. 1 starLowes Assurant Warranty Program is worthless. Purchased a high end complete kitchen package in 2018 and the refrigerator quit the 1st time in 2020. They sent a repair company, who defrosted some coils because the fan assembly was hitting something, but didnt fix the problem. It worked for about 10 months, happened again. The next repair company came out, said theyd be in touch, called the warranty company and closed the ticket - after getting paid FOR DOING NOTHING. I had to call to find out status, that it was closed. Had to start over next guy came out and said empty the fridge and let it defrost for 48 hours seriously, is this a resolution??? It worked for 2 months, then quit again.The 3rd repair company said he knows exactly what it is and will order parts 6 weeks from that visit and I cant get any response from anyone. Ive put appliances in 3 homes through Lowes. I may buy something again, but would NEVER rely on their warranty program again. Shame on Lowes for letting this company represent them.Review fromscott k

1 starordered a simple little firestick online with a giftcard ive had for sometime...simple rite? wrong so i ordered it online to pick up in store, got the conformation with all the info via email as well as text. i drive 15 miles to the store that the website said had ****************************************************************************************************** the mail.yet at the counter im staring at the item with my order number on it. IN STOCK then was told i can pay for it another way and that the only thing i could do. so i said no thank you and walked out of the store.on my way home i call customer care, they had longer than expected wait times and could call me back. ok fine no big deal rite.they call back and hang up.so then i call back, not given the option for another call back, so i proceded to hold for over 20 mimnutes.finally got a CSR, she was kind and stated the there was noting she could do and that the giftcard was in the mail. so i asked to be transfered to a manager that could help me, so i held again for another 30 minutes only to find out i was transfered to my local store {that i was already at the day before looking for this item that wasnt in stock. told them my issue anyway, kind lady but obviously nothing she could do.SO i call again, helo for over 30 minutes, get aother csr, explained to him what the issue was and what i just went through. then i got the run around again, there was nothing they could do and that they were very sorry blah blah blah same ol' rite.At this point my blood pressure is soaring long story short, my advise to any customers reading far enough into this.. dont waste your money. i couldnt imagine what wouldve happened is this was a more serious order like kitchen cabinets or an appliance or something someone really had to save for because if they cant even get a simple firestick correct, there is no way i would give them the respocibility with something someone actually needed or had schedued 0 starsReview fromMary M.

1 starI ordered a garage door opener from Lowes in April 2022.They had a promo motion for installation for $99 which I ordered.They charged me an extra $35 for distance which I understood.I received the garage door opener quickly, but the installation was a problem.Lowes kept scheduling installation and then cancelling it.After numerous appts and cancellations they finally said they could not install it.Now in July 2022 they turn around and charge me $134 for an installation that they Never completed. I had to hire someone else to do that.When I called Lowes first they said they had refunded that amount incorrectly and it was a charge back.That never happened. I was only charged the amount of the actual product.There was never a refund.Then they told me they couldnt find the transaction. They have to get their IT **** to look for that charge.I see the charge on my credit card statement on 07/07/22.But Lowes say it didnt happen.So here I sit, waiting for a refund.I will NEVER shop at Lowes again.Review fromGerald Y

1 starOn June 17th my wife and I went to lowes we bought three doors one entry door and two storm doors one door had to be special order so it took two weeks for that order it came in on 07/11/22 we been waiting for them to be installed as today 08/03/22 and have not been installed now its been about a month. they keep giving me different dates that I order them two of my doors were sitting in the store from June 11th one door was ordered this has been a terrible experience with lowes they changed me dubbed for two doors and had to redo my order its been a mess. ****** G
