1 starI ordered a washer/dryer set from Lowes in May, for a July delivery. While I was into the 4th hour of waiting for delivery, the delivery date was suddenly changed to a 12 hour window on the next day. No one called, texted or emailed to explain. I was able to reschedule for a four hour window. However, the delivery guys noticed damages on both the washer/dryer when they took them off the truck. I rejected the delivery as advised and contacted Lowes in the afternoon to find out when new ones would be delivered. I was told that trucks come in on Monday and Wednesday, and new machines might be on those trucks. A new delivery was set up for the following Thursday. On the following Wednesday, I received a text with a 12 hour delivery window for the next day. When I called the local Lowes, I was told that there weren't any washing machines in stock and none were expected for at least another month. I was advised to speak to my salesman. When I said that I had purchased online, I was advised to call the main number. Shortly thereafter, I received a text message with a four hour window for delivery the following day. I called the main number asking for clarification and was told that they likely had the machine since a 4 hour window was set, but they were unable to reach anyone at the local store to confirm. I was advised to call the main number the next morning and have them confirm delivery with the local store. When I called the next morning, I was told that it would be delivered, but when I pushed the customer representative to reach out to the local store, she was able to determine that the truck went out without my washer/dryer. I asked for a refund and was told that a case needed to be opened with the local store and they had 24 hours to reach out to me.No one called. I contacted the main line again 24 hours later and was once again told that it would be escalated and I had to wait 24 hours. Another day has passed and haven't heard anything. 1 starHorrible experience overall. Orderded 11 blinds (4 custom-ordered) with some that were ************ but needed to simply be cut, and had a contractor come out to measure my window dimensions for proper fitting.Terrible experience due to the following:1. Paid for blinds on 4/27; the sales associate didn't bother to tell me that the roller shades I picked out were going to take nearly 2 months to receive (if she had, I wouldn't have bought them). 2. Installation scheduled for 7/8/22; however, the blinds I had ready at my house (after 8 weeks of waiting) were NOT cut, AND one of the three shades did NOT fit one of my windows! (due to the contractor not measuring one of my windows properly). In turn, my house was exposed for all potential burglars to see while I went back home for 2 weeks. 3. After being reassured by the store manager that "Everything will be fixed and your blinds will be installed on the week of 7/25/22", they failed to do this (I still do NOT have an appointment for my blinds installation!). 4. The one shade that doesn't fit in my room, as well as another set of blinds that had to be re-orderd for one window, has still NOT been shipped out! (I dropped it off on July 8th; it wasnt' until I demanded an answer to the status of these items on 7/23 that they have now "staged" them to be shipped. 5. I have a tenant moving into this house on August 15th, and likely will not have any blinds in his room due to Lowe's consistent failures (no appointment yest for another blinds installation). This has been, by far, the WORST retail experience of my life! In my opinion, DO NOT go to Lowe's for any contracting, or anything that cannot be purchased directly in the store in-person. I cannot wait until this nightmare is over with so I will never have to deal with Lowe's ever again.Review fromKimberley S

1 starTo Whom it may concern, I writing this letter to explain my compliant with the Lowes located at *****************************************************************, I started this process of purchasing two storm dorms on May 10, 2020.. The guy did come out a measure the doors and I was told that I would receive a call in 24 to 48 hours. I never received a call so I followed up with the store. I finally got a quote on May 17, 2022. I called and was told to come into the store and pick out the doors. I asked if I needed to make an appointment and I was told by ***** that I did not need an appointment. I drove to the store which took me 26 minutes to get there and I was told that ***** left early today because it was his Birthday and there was no one to help me. The following day I spoke with ***** the next day and we went over everything so I was told to just come to the store and pick out the handles for the doors and to pay for the doors. I went over there the following day ***** was off and they could not find ******. I told them I needed to speak with a Manager, they had the wrong information so I pretty much had to start from scratch which I did and they adjust the price for the inconvenience. I received a call stating the doors were in and I would get a call from the installer that took more than seven days. The day the Installer was supposed to come to my house he called and said that it looks like I have not paid for the doors and I told him that I did then I received a call that the doors are lost so he could not call to install the doors. I never received a call from the store or the store Manager. I called to file a complaint but still never received a call from the store until I called to say I want to cancel my order and I want my money back. I then received a call from ****** that she found the door and that she will reach out to her manager to see if they will give me a credit on installation and that she will call me on Sunday or Monday. 1 starSingle handed scam artists. Requested small countertop with backsplash online. Paid down payment. Sub contractor comes put to measure and asks spouse what is wanted, she states whatever is requested in initial order. They send in measurements and upon install no backsplash is installed. Asked installers and they say there is none, but you can purchase one from us on the side. Call Lowes immediately and told that installer would call to fix. Received no call, called back to Lowes, installer would no pick up. Call several more times same response. Eventually was told wait a bit and you will be contacted. Never contacted. Got notice my final payment is going to be sent to collections for not paying. Call them back, we are sending it to corporate they will call you. Never got called. Call them back, finally get some one who is suppose to help. We are checking we will call you back. Never called. Called them back again and they said installer says everything was installed so I need to pay. I said from day 1 it wasn't. They said they did not care, that as long as their installer says it is good then I have to pay or it gets sent to collections.Review fromCharles A

1 starI purchased a washer and dryer from Lowes to be delivered, I recieved a call from them the day prior to delivery stating the delivery would be on 7/28/2022. No one showed up. I contacted the store I purchased it from via phone 5 times and was transferred to another representative . No one picked up the phone. I drove to the store in ******* ** where I made the purchase and was told they use a third party delivery service. They were unable to get through to the service via phone. I did not purchase the items from a third party. I purchased them from Lowes. Lowes made no offer for a reschedule, a refund or any other sort of compensation.Review fromCorissa B

1 starI went to Lowe's to purchase a side-by-side refrigerator. I made the purchase on 6/30/22. The delivery (3rd party service) was 7/16/22. I received a call the night before, informing me that my fridge would be delivered between 8am &noon. They showed up at 2:30pm. The guys did not remove any of the plastic or packaging from the fridge. One if them told me that he could not put the door handles on because of the plastic and that once I removed the plastic, I would have to put on the handles. He told me that they couldn't hook up the ice maker (even though Lowe's "required" me to purchase a ice/water connector. After they left, I noticed a HUGE dent in the back of the refrigerator. I called the the delivery service to inform them of my experience. There was nothing done. I immediately called the store to inform them of the dent (no answer). I then called the customer service number and was given a case number. I wastold that a manager from the store would call me to discuss returning the defective fridge and them bringing another. The lady said if I hadn't heard from a manager in 24 hrs, to call back. Several days, phone calls to the store and customer service, and no call backs later, I finally got in touch with someone from the store. They ordered another refrigerator for me and said they would call and let me know when it was available and to set up a time for the delivery. I NEVER got a call back from the store. Instead, I received an automated call from Lowe's on 7/27/22 stating that my delivery would be between 4pm & 8pm on today (7/28/22). It is now 9pm, and I have not heard from anyone. This has been my first and LAST time making a purchase from Lowe's! I am so disappointed and disheartened by this whole experience! Oh, I forgot to mention that the delivery guys left the empty refrigerator box on the side of my house! It was hidden by a ****. Why would they hide it on the side of my house!? They could've put it back in their truck, or even on the curb!Review fromJon L.

1 starI would rated zero if I can. Bought a whole house generator 4 years ago and each year found out one and another room not connected to the generator. This year found out that the central ac system not connected to the generator. Told specially, stated most important is the kitchen refrigerator, heating and cooling system and sump pump. The Sales and service ************ throwing the ball to someone else. As for the Electrician *** from ************** also not taking responsible, call Lowe's. Always give us a around about when we told him certain room not connected to generator. He also did not connect the sump pump and then came back to connect it when the generator first installed. Now we found out two rooms and central ac not connected. We also call Lowe's customer service installed team which the sales and service rep have us to do. In middle of the call, the rep ******* said I have to hang up. This is exactly what Lowe's hire, incompetent sale and service rep and and rude employees!I know I bought the generator 4 years ago but is year by year founding out is not connected supposedly whole house generator paid for. Being this year is the first in summer founding out ac not connected and no help from Lowe's. Forget the everyday 5%, not worth the headache for the poor business the provide.I will closed my account and no more Lowe's for me. Not surprising seeing only one star here in BBB. I hope this will help someone else when they purchasing big project from Lowe's. Matter of fact, now a day no more professionalism and craftmanship from any store or anyone. 1 starRarely leave any posts but sharing in hopes others don't fall into the same trap. Ordered a Bosch 300 Series dishwasher and went with Lowes as they had an Installation Rebate offer ($180 in savings). While this review isn't triggered by what follows (understand it happens) I will share some of the unnecessary pains that Lowes could have spared the customers. First, the installation was delayed by 2 weeks as they were routing to a local company that neither they (Lowes) nor I could get ahold of in a timely manner. The company was suppose to call to schedule but it did not take place until I checked in--took about 3-4 calls for that alone. Second, this was a brief mention, but the installer cancelled and had to reschedule again causing more pains. Note, for 2 weeks we had to wait and struggled to keep up with the dishes (three little ones). Did not complain, again these things happen.Lastly, this is the dagger, I get a notification today the rebate for $180 did not go through. Called customer service rep and it turns out you cannot pay for the Appliance + the Installation together. It has to be purchased separately. (Speechless). And to put salt onto the wound, Lowes informs me that Lowes could have sent out their own employee to install the Appliance. Which would have resulted in the rebate and what I assume would have been quicker turnaround than 2 weeks. I will have to think twice about purchasing future appliances through Lowes. Lowes, if you see this, please treat customers as you would want to be treated. I hope other customers do not have to go through the same suffering.
