1 starLowe's protection plan doesn't hold up on their promise to fix things timely otherwise to issue $50.*****the first ********** visit for our broken dishwasher was on Dec 31 2024 - burned controller and engine. The tech estimated the wait time of two weeks. But we got the parts and another tech visit only Jan 21, 2025. After tech has left, I discovered that the dishwasher is leaking and reported it to the contractor company, *************. They were rude and pushed me back. The problem persisted. Lowe's insurance opened another claim and sent another tech on Jan 24. The new tech found out they the fix was not done properly and I have to wait another week for a new set of parts. When I contacted Lowe's again they just kept telling me wait and denying their obligation to pay for this extended wait time.I paid for that protection plan and was not getting a proper service. I have to wait for a month to get things fixed (and still counting) without any responsibility from Lowe'sReview fromRichard A

1 starWhatever you do, do not get an extended or protection plan on your appliance. Use your home warranty company instead, or get it through the manufacturer the product is from. We bought a new refrigerator in 2021 when we moved into our new home. Since then, the door, the water unit, the compressor (3), and other parts have been replaced. The compressor went out again on January 2nd and we have been without a refrigerator since. According to their policy, after 4 repairs and the federal lemon law, it should have been replaced a long time ago. Here we are 22 days later and we don't have a fridge. Every time i call, I get connected to another country who tells me its being escalated and i have to wait 48 hours. I provided them with everything they asked including the receipt, and waited more then 10 days for parts that never got delivered. still nothing. called today and once again, its being escalated. all the while we cant buy groceries and were using my neighbors fridge to house my daughters medication. do yourself a favor and do not get their warranty. Its a total waste of your money and time.Review fromJulie N

1 starDo not order from Lowes. Order kitchen appliances and was price matching to ********** since they were 400$ cheaper. Lowes messed up everything I requested a gas stove with installation a warranty and haul away. After I paid they charged me for a gas stand alone stove which was correct but with electric installation for an in the wall stove. Had to cancel and redo then was trying to charge more again after the manager said I would get 100$ off for my inconvenience. Order 2 at the same time a refrigerator overhead microwave and dishwasher. Again requested a warranty and haul away. Review my receipt and no haul away. Ended up canceling everything and went to **********. Was there for over 2 hours and needed up with nothing. The worst part was I had the exact product number that I wanted for everything and said 5 year warranty on everything installation on everything and haul away on everything how do you mess up that badly. Also paid with my Lowes card and was told I did not get the 5percent off because it is a pro card which is wrong also. Lowes is a joke!!!!Review fromSteven L

1 starLowes flooring sub contractor attempted to add additional costs to a kitchen flooring installation.Their sub contractor attempted to add the additional costs as a result of a un measured moisture content that exceeded 10 percent. They never measured the concrete subfloor for moisture, but insisted that this cost be added. Lowes flooring pro indicated that they had resolved this but would not remove the moisture content percent value from their system at the insistence of their sub contractor..Review fromBarbara M

1 starI made a contract with Lowes to have my flooring replaced. They SUB LET the job to a company that is ONLY OPEN WHEN THEY WANT, and my flooring job IS NOT COMPLETE. It has been two weeks and they are still telling me that it will be NEXT WEEK, which was what they told me last week. I somehow feel that they are going to leave my floors UNFINISHED. Is there anything I can do to get the job done. I had to PERSONALLY remove ALL of the tiles in the floors before they would even get started. The individuals was to start the job on the 2nd and when they came they saw the tiles under the refrigerator and stove was still there and I told them I could not move them and they YANKED IT AWAY FROM THE **** breaking the water line and THEN LEFT. I was left to find someone to replace the broken water line. They came back on the 3rd dug a whole in the bathroom floor because they had to remove the tiles under the toilet and WANTED TO LEAVE, but I wouldn't let them leave that time. I told them I had the rest of the house to get done. I'm 71 years old and shouldn't have had to do the HARD PART OF THE ****Review fromBonita P

2 starsThis is related to Lowe's credit card. I just received a letter from ************** indicating a change effective 3/2025 indicating an increase to the APR for purchase to *****%! The reason given, is due to the market conditions...It also stated any APR max or caps stated prior is removed. This APR is insane...in my opinion falls under '*****'. I have excellent credit (over 800) but I guess that has no meaning, even though, no one should be penalize with a *****% interest. Who can afford, if you are going to have this much interest being applied to purchases. I prefer shopping at Lowe's but will now need to rethink if there is a need to use the credit card for any purchases.Review fromKiet T

1 starDont ever go thru Lowes for any projects. Bad sales *** and bad customers service. Doesnt hold up on their promise. Give you a lot of run around when therere issues. I and my wife purchased fence installation with Lowes on 9/04/24 and according to the contract an estimated completion date is on 10/05/24. The installation didnt even start until 11/22/24 and until now were still going back and forth with Lowes about all the issues we have with our fence and gates. We have metal frame on our old gate and double sided latches and now they ***laced it with some kind of simple black metal frame and one side latches. If we are in our backyard we cant even get out and in case of an emergency we are stuck in our backyard. And our gates dont shut properly because they were installed badly. We went to Lowes store to talk to a manager to fix all the issues and every time we went there it would be a different manager that we talked to and told us to expect a phone call from them. A few days later we would received a phone call to let us know that they will keep us update. Until now they still havent fix all the issues we are having. DO NOT purchase any fences, floors, etc..projects with Lowes. Stay away from Lowes. If we can give them 0 star, we would.Review fromSarah H.

1 starDont work here, they cut hours majorly Im talking 2 day only week shifts and 4 hour shiftsthey will change your schedule last second and if you dont get it fixed even if you ask a million times, it falls on you. Management is horrible.. they fired a lot of people including me for attendance but I only ever had an issue after I called hr on my manager.. I have heard that hr tells management information. I heard that they fired people so they can hire a whole new front end. Ive been there for years and have had excellent results which means nothing after you have a manager retaliate against youReview fromDanielle M

1 starDO NOT ORDER CUSTOM COUNTERTOPS FROM LOWES! We ordered Silestone quartz on 8/11/24 at ******, DE store, and our total was $2,396.56. We paid a $600 deposit. We waited & waited for contact for installation. I was expecting a call; however, once I contacted Lowes I discovered an email was sent. After a 2nd measurement & some adjustments, our contract was FINALLY ready to be signed. However, there was an almost 38% increase in the price. We spent weeks requesting an itemized breakdown, and we told several employees we felt we had been scammed. We spoke to many Lowe's employees and followed the chain of command within the store. Eventually, Lowes stopped contacting us, yet they never gave us an answer. We spoke to department manager, *****, and he was going to contact us with a breakdown within 24 hours. After several days, we followed up with *****, and we called Lowes and left her contact info because the countertop manager, *****, said he could not get in contact with the vendor. We drove to Lowes multiple times to speak to employees, and we were never put in contact with general manager. We asked for next in charge, and he or she was in interviews. At one point, we were put in contact with **, the assistant store manager, and he stated he would email a cost breakdown w/in 24 hours. He never sent an email. We watched our email for days. When we contacted him again, he stated he would give us a 10% discount on materials. Whenever we followed up after weeks asking for an itemized increase, the answers were always vague such as it was custom work, there were 5 extra square feet, & a charge to remeasure. I spoke to ***** again over the phone, & he stated he could not give a discount. We paid the full bill to avoid losing our deposit. We anticipated around a $100 increase since we had to purchase a sink for the bathroom vanity. On our final invoice, the amount of the increase is not shown with $500 unaccounted for, & we were just ghosted by the company.
