1 starI just recently moved into a new home and ordered both a ************** at the same time and just my washer came. I contacted corporate and said my dryer ordered for pick up and I inforrmed them I selected the combo and wanted delivery & install for both and they said they can change the dryer to delivery but I will have to pay a new delivery charge and I protested and said that was their mistake and not mine and then my dryer comes in and the delivery just drops it off and says they don't do installs and I didn't have the policy in hand but called and they said they would get a techniciain to install the dryer. Overall poor service especially when it was therre mistake.Review fromDE C

1 starI was on hold back and forth between this Lowes and HQ to help me cancel a measurement appointment. An employee of theirs knew I was waiting for a long time. When I finally got a hold of someone, I hear this very employee over the phone making fun of me to the employee from the department I needed. It was incredibly disrespectful, unprofessional, and very hurtful. Go elsewhere.Review fromRachael R

1 starWe bought a washer and dryer with a 5 year extended warranty from Lowe's and they refused to honor the 50% refund for unused appliance warranties. The w/d were delivered late Jan, 2020 after we moved into our new house in 1/20/20. the salesperson told us to call about the warranties if we hadn't used them in mid Jan, 2025. I put it in my calendar and called on 1/10//25. My husband and I spoke with many people including a corporate dept manager over the course of an hour and a half, and they stated they would not honor the agreement since we bought the w/d 2 months before they were delivered. They said if we could get the original Lowe's store to show Lowe's corporate service proof of delivery they would reconsider. We called the store and they were super nice but they did not have delivery records going back five years. Not only did our 5 year warranty not last 5 years, we were also scammed out of our promised unused warranty money. The warranty should start when the item is in ownership of the person who bought it. I'm not upset at the customer service **** about ******************** money grubbing, dishonest policies but we are never shopping here again, I'm leaving bad reviews everywhere and telling everyone I know.Review fromMartha D

1 starI bought a refrigerator, range and vent hood. They delivered the refrigerator and range but could not install. I asked at time of purchase if needed work done for the range, there was miscommunication about the type of range. Old refrigerator died. Had to decline the delivery due to install issues. Had professionals come Monday and Tuesday to prepare for delivery. They would not connect the hose for the ice machine when they delivered on Thursday, lady called from delivery and said she would contact Lowes, she did. Lady called today, Friday, said they could not do it, wanted to explain, didn't need to hear it, short and simple is need the plumber to come back to install the hose that had been working with the previous ice maker for 25 years. They were not even going to attach the plug for the range that the man prepared on Monday but decided to, thank you. They advertise they have installers and next day service, guess when possible. The range had already been placed in the garage, all they needed to do was bring in the new one and attach it to the plug from Lowes. They were not going to bring in the new refrigerator due to taking the doors off to accommodate the install, told girl at time of purchase this would be necessary so they did it, thank you. Has been some of the worst customer service from them in the many years I have bought appliances from them. Think an apology should be forthcoming, don't care about their technical excuses. You either take care of the work or you don't and we should be told that up front. She did say something to that effect so our workers on those two days, both professionals with much experience did what they thought needed to be done. The plumber even left the water to the ice maker hose cut off for the install. Now I need to call the plumber to come back for the hose connection. Absolute nightmare for me, I am older and have not been treated like this in the past. Hope for better results in the future and an apology.Review fromKen H

1 starDon't buy a special order item from Lowe's. If it isn't in the store, go somewhere else. Support the small local business if you can. LOWES wants the money but when it takes 6 weeks longer than promised, they do nothing to help the customer.Review fromDiana M

1 starI PURCHASE A FRIGADAIRE REFRIDGERATOR 6 MONTHS AGO , i HAVE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, WITHIN 6 MONTHS THE FRIDGE STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY, I SPOKE TO AN ASSOCIATE , A STORE MANAGER. AND REPRESENTATIVE FROM PROTECTION PLAN , THEY INFORMED ME I NEED TO TAKE IT UP WITH THE MANUFACTURE , WHICH IVE DONE FOR ALMOST A WEEK NOW. 1 star************** is just a cog in the wheel that is programmed to say the same response without understanding the issue. I purchased a craftsman pressure washer and there happens to be a recoil recall. So why is this device being sold in the first place? I used the device once a month ago for a landscaping project and tried again last week and it happened to not work at all so I took it to Lowes and they told me that this device specifically has a 48 hour return policy. I ordered it online and the website shows that craftsman outdoor equipment have an exception of 90 days for return besides this device I tried to return specifically. Well no wonder. Obviously there will be high return rates due to being a faulty device so they made it 48 hours so customers are stuck with it. ********************** told me ton contact Craftsman as well saying if I receive a return authorization then I can get my money back but again Lowes doesnt even know what they are talking about. ********* does not give return authorizations. Everyone gives me the same answer saying that I cant return it because its been 48 hours then why does it say on the website where I ordered from otherwise? Im now officially going to ********** from now on. Lowes lost a customer and they wouldnt care because of corporate greed and their own negligence. I tried getting tax exception from them as well and never got one for my business meanwhile every other distributor has helped me acquire one. 1 starWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I wish there was a 0 rating. *** had a major issue with a Lowes dishwasher installation. After ordering it on December 17, 2024 and having to wait until the 23rd for it to come in and then another week (their installers earliest time available)to wait for it to be installed. All of this is fine except for the dishwasher that was installed on January 2, 2025 was defective. And the worst part is that it is a Christmas gift from my daughter and before this happened she had a working dishwasher, but wanted one that matched her other appliances The installer left it in place saying give it a few hours to see if it works because it was left out in the cold by Lowes. Well, the dishwasher did not work in the allotted time so I called the installer and they said they would take care of it with Lowes and get a new one ordered. I did not hear back so at the end of the next day and since then I have made several calls to Lowes and installer with no resolution now a week later. They did call me today 1/8/2025 at 2:20 PM just to let me know again that a manager was looking into it but that the dishwasher still had not been ordered yet. I believe I only received this call because yesterday I gave them a 3 PM deadline for a resolution (I think a week has been plenty of time for them to get their act together) or I would be filing a complaint with a Better Business Bureau and with our state ************************ so here I am leaving this review. For my part, I have called Lowes at least six times over the last week and each time I am told a manager is taking care of it, but that it is not yet ordered. This is so frustrating and the worst customer service Ive ever experienced with a business. Managers clearly need training or retraining in how to treat the customer. I will never order another thing from Lowes nor will I ever step foot in a Lowes again. The best part is Im able to go to ********** right across the street.Review fromLynnette K

1 starBotched Lowe's Kitchen Cabinet Installation: I had a horrific experience with Lowe's kitchen cabinet installation. I worked through the ******************, ** store. I was told I had to use the Lowe's installer in order to guarantee my kitchen. And yet the installation was completely botched, so where is the guarantee? I have a 9-page detailed report on the numerous mishaps. Bottom line is that my kitchen cabinets sit at 35.5" instead of the standard 36" in height. The installer placed my cabinets on the sub-floor when they should have been raised level with my hardwood floors. A new installer came to review and took a video report and admitted that the cabinets were not installed properly. I asked Lowe's to compensate me or return to re-install my kitchen cabinets. They would not do either. What should have been a 4-week project went on for 2-years with wrong shipments, lost shipments, boxes sitting in my livingroom for months, and numerous other mishaps. And all Lowe's was willing to do was reimburse me for any out-of-pocket expenses. Nothing for the botched installation.Review fromRay C

1 starHad a terrible experience with Lowe's delivery / installation. I live in a vintage building that has only 120 volt outlets. My appliance options are limited, but ******* has an electric dryer that can run on 120 or 240 volts, as long as it has the 120 volt cord. Twice Lowes delivered the dryer with the wrong cord. Mistakes happen but neither the delivery service nor the warehouse offered any solutions. After the first attempt I tried to cancel my order and buy the same product from Best Buy as I've had good experiences with their delivery / installation. The Lowes store intercepted the cancellation, called me, and said they wanted to make good, they would deliver the product the next day *with* the proper cord. I agreed and called back a second time to confirm that a.) they would include the right cord, and b.) their installation team would understand the product and know how to install it. They assured me everything was flagged and it would go off without a hitch. The second delivery was an exact repeat of the first -- wrong cord, and delivery and warehouse treated me like a crazy person. When I contacted customer service to cancel and get a refund they could not have cared less about my experience, suggesting I should go to a Lowe's store and purchase the cord to ensure it was correct and "refuse delivery" of the wrong cord so I could be reimbursed. I asked for the refund and bought the items at Best Buy. The Best Buy sales agent understood the product and also gave me his direct line and email should I have any problems on delivery day. Do not buy anything from Lowes that needs to be delivered / installed. 0 stars.
