      Made a purchase on 11/16/2022 during the Black Friday Sales. Waited for two months. No update on shipment information and no order cancellation notice. Basically, the order was in complete limbo. Checked with customer services numerous times (4 times), always told me the same answer saying the order will be shipped shortly. I checked for the 5th time and customer service finally told me the product is not available... What is the point of selling it online and creating an order if you do not have the product available at all? This company took away my chance of seeking other great deals during the holiday sales. The customer service team is terrible. They are basically useless and cannot resolve any issue whatsoever. One representative told me they can offer a 7% discount if I placed another order, which is what I did. After hours of communication, the customer service team still cannot provide a simple 7% price adjustment. It is pointless to talk to customer service as none of them have any clue. It is such a ridiculous hassle that I got to talk to 7 or 8 different representatives and repeatedly tell them the same thing. In the end, still nothing can be done. I do not recommend anyone purchasing Lenovo products until they improve customer service capability.

      Not sure why im adding this since i see sooo many complaints. Probably should have checked BBB before making a purchase with this company. To put it simply. Purchased a brand new think pad carbon x9 laptop. Had it for 3 months and it stopped working. It wouldnt turn on at all. called customer service and they sent a box to return my laptop for service. Quickly they stated there was nothing wrong with my laptop, and sent it back. Once received, all of my information was erased, and it had another companies credentials (like a work laptop), so I couldnt log in. after 8 follow up calls, numerous emails, and 5 months of waiting. They said I cannot get a refund, or even upgrade the laptop. Instead, they told me to ship out my laptop again so they can install the ** system.Till this day..... I am still waiting for my laptop.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM LENOVO! THEIR QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE.

      DO NOT RENEW YOUR WARRANTY because its a SCAM THEY TOOK MY MONEY TO REPAIR MY LAPTOP BUT DONT PERFORM THE WORK TO REPAIR MY LAPTOP. This is my 1st lenovo laptop which is called (ideapad 3-15IML05 Laptop - Type 81WR) the cost to extend the warranty after it expire is cheap, then my screen broke I opened a claim for my laptop Lenovo gave me no problems and offer to fixed my laptop I sent in my Lenovo laptop for repairs 3 weeks ago i called them today 01/12/23 of why its taken so long to repair the laptop when i been told the laptop should be finished on 01/05/23 I was told by an Lenovo representative that the reason they are not finish with my laptop is because they dont have the parts and the rep ***** even tell me how long will it take for them to get the parts for my laptop.

      I am another one of the people who have been completely burned by Lenovo. I purchased a Legion i7 laptop 2010 and the hinges just came unglued over a couple years. Lenovo has made it nearly impossible to contact them regarding any of their product issues. My options are to pay $110.00 to pay for a new warranty, wait 30 days, in order to actually speak with somebody and to have my computer fixed, for which I'm sure there will be another charge for having someone repair my laptop.The fact that Lenovo has not done anything to address this tsunami of issues stemming from their horrible hinge design that has rendered their most premium laptops useless and shut the doors on their consumers is unforgivable. I will never buy from Lenovo ever again.

      I have also experienced the broken hinge issue on my IdeaPad Flex 5 which, I have read online that this is a very common problem problem with a common lack of resolution from Lenovo. I called their customer service and they told me it's not covered and that the repairs are almost as expensive and buying a new laptop so I should just buy a new one. They offered no other help or advice. I bought this laptop less than two years ago but the faulty hinge was making creeking/cracking noises since I bought it then it finally just broke and chipped my screen today as I was adjusting it. I never used this laptop outside of my home so it stayed on my desk open most of the time because of the noise it made right off the bat. The only time I moved the screen was into the laptop mode and back which was not often because I have an android tablet, iPad, and my phone when I needed something portable. Now I am stuck with a defective, unusable laptop that is very gently used and less than two years old!! Help!!

      My brand new Chromebook had a cracked screen, so I gave it to *******. No one from Lenovo would call them back for a part. I then took it to a Lenovo service center, and after a month the ticket was closed with no explanation. I called and was informed they got an empty box. Filed a complaint with *****, ***** denied it because they have proof a full box was delivered. Went back to Lenovo, and now they have it. But wait, it can't be repaired. But wait, it can be, but I need to authorize the charges. Then radio silence. Except no one would give me the status update. It's been two months. Never buy Lenovo.

      I purchased an ideapad 5, 15 in 2020. Less then a year of having the computer, and the hinge broke. Initially, Lenovo refused to help me and I used the computer for 6 months having to leave it open. Then Lenovo actually reached out to me and fixed the hinge for me. I appreciated that greatly, and it restored some confidence in the company. However, about 1.5 years after they fixed it, the same side of the hinge is about to break again. Knowing how delicate this hinge is, I have been very cognizant of making sure I only open it from the center and never put pressure on the corners. But clearly this is truly just a design flaw, and not due to user error. I have had this laptop 2.5 years now, and having the hinge break twice within that time frame is unacceptable. Im not alone with this issue, and know that many other consumers run into the same problem with this device. ********************** continues to put out new ideapads each year that seemingly have the same hinge. Its unfortunate because otherwise, I think this is a solid computer spec wise and does everything I need it to. Its frustrating because I feel like Lenovo is dismissive of how much the consumer spent on the device. $700 may be on the lower end for laptops, but still, at least to me, thats no small amount to spend. Especially being sold a device thats designed to break. In comparison, Ive purchased $200 laptops that were physically built much better than this one. I understand that mistakes and design flaws happen, but at this point, Lenovo is fully aware of the issues with this hinge, and dont appear to be making any efforts to change the design or make it so it does not break again. I know its been too long since I purchased the computer to get a refund, and Im just stuck now. Poor quality materials and such is not unique to Lenovo, I realize, but hopefully I can find another brand with hinges that are designed better.

      What a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE purchasing a laptop from Lenovo!!!! WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!!! And I've been buying electronics online for more than a decade.
      Lenovo laptop bought during Black Friday sale. Credit card charged and invoice sent right away. Tracking number said I'd receive it in a few days. Stayed around the house that day to make sure I received it. But nothing arrived. A few days later I get the message: "Your package is pending release from a non-UPS broker. Contact the non-UPS broker for additional information."
      Thus began a 4-week odyssey to try and find my laptop and get it in time for christmas, as I bought it for my son.
      I've now spent more than FOUR HOURS on calls / emails / e-chats with five different agents with titles such as "Customer Service Advocate." They've contacted their Logistics Team, but never got back to me. I've since been passed off to other "customer satisfaction teams" who never get in touch. I've tried DMs through Lenovo's twitter account, etc. Nothing.
      Finally this past weekend the agent brave enough to give his email address admitted that the laptop was lost (likely in customs ... if it was ever actually sent). He said I'd be contacted by the "Customer Management Team" to get a replacement for the already paid for laptop. However, two days later and still nothing. I've emailed my contact but he doesn't answer anymore.
      I'm at my wits end. I thought buying direct from the manufacturer was a good idea. However, I've spent so much time and energy trying to locate this computer ... it's actually ridiculous that they haven't been able to resolve this by now.
      Lenovo advertises itself as a $70 billion powerhouse. But where would they be without customers like me??
      Man I wish I'd bought the darn laptop from one of the dozens of competitors who actually seem to care about their customers.
      What say you Lenovo???? Will my son get a laptop in time for christmas? Time is ticking ...

      Easily the worst customer service in the industry. Bought a Legion 5 laptop less than a year ago and this will be the second time I've had to send it in. Every time I've had to interact with customer service it's a month long process before anything gets done. They'll close your ticket without ever even speaking to you.The only real way to get anything accomplished is to air out the problem on social media. They are extremely lazy in regards to following through with anything they say. You have to keep nagging them day after day just for simple things to be accomplished.I waited 2 weeks from my original ticket date this time and they closed my ticket without talking to me. I got it re-opened and they said they'd send a box for me to ship out my laptop. I've now been waiting 2 weeks for the box to come. Spoiler alert: They never sent it, because why would they?Stay away. Their products aren't good quality any more and their customer service is bottom of the barrel. I will never buy another Lenovo product again and I'll do my best to ensure no one I know wastes their time buying from them either.

      The Lenovo.com experience has been HORRIBLE and the staff are honestly HOPLESS, and ignorant to their own systems and processes. It's just EXHAUSTING working with them. I ordered 2 chrome-books for my children on Cyber Monday. Simple enough I thought. There was no option to pay for shipping. The only option was to pick up at a **** *** store. I agreed given that the price was right. I had 7 days to pick up. I called **** *** to confirm I would pick up on the following Monday as stores in ****** ******, NJ are not open on Sunday (eating into my 7 days). They confirmed it would be held for me (I'd had a car accident and couldn't drive there earlier). Then, first thing Monday morning (before they opened!), the orders were cancelled. I spent hours calling Lenovo, and on online chats to halt the cancelation or reorder. Neither their live operators, nor their chat teams could understand the situation or how to resolve their own errors. After multiple calls and losing time being on hold for 3 hours+, they said they could no longer place the order at the same price, as the products were now sold out! **** *** was no better - their own hold music advises that they could price match and yet they said they couldn't track orders that had been cancelled, nor price match Lenovo's price as they had no access to they cyber Monday prices in their system (despite the fact they had partnered to supply the order?!). I just don't think I can cope working with Lenovo's customer service again - just so inefficient, and clearly inadequately trained to be handling service challenges. They are extremely pleasant, but extremely ineffective! Of course I asked to speak to a manager - but they completely refused to let me move up the chain (I think because they didn't know how to go about it!). So my children are no longer getting their Lenovo chrome-books from Santa. I guess we are all better off, since I now see so many 1 star reviews about Lenovo equipment and services. Bah Humbug Lenovo :(
