      Like so many others, I have not heard from Green Bean for weeks regarding a replacement battery.I received a Prius hybrid battery from Green Bean with a 3-year warranty on July 13th, 2024. The battery failed within 2 days. I submitted a claim on the 17th which was approved on the 19th (#WRNTY00059868) with this message, "I just wanted to follow up with you regarding your claim. It has been approved and we are currently waiting on the inventory team to let us know when the delivery will arrive to the installer in your area. We are currently experiencing higher than expected volume in your area, and have recently increased production to match that demand. However it will take some time for us to see the results of those adjustments. We have gotten management involved to speed up the timeline and hopefully get this resolved for you as soon as we can. I apologize for the delay. Thank you so much for your patience and I will be in touch with you as soon as we have the dates. -*********************************"The vagueness of this email is worrisome because it does not allow me to plan for how long I will be without a car. I emailed July 23rd, and called and texted Aug 2nd to see if I could get any sort of information about the timeline. I did not hear back. On Aug 6th I sent a chat and they told me for warranty I needed to text or email. When I said I had tried that without answer they said they would follow-up and have someone contact me which has not happened. Today is August 9th and I have not been contacted. As others have said, the sales team is very responsive since they want to make the sale. It then seems like they do not prioritize their current customers once the ********************** has been purchased which cost me $1,865.37. I am worried this next Green Bean battery will also fail and I will be back to waiting for another battery with no working car and no communication from the company. Green Bean, please provide customer service to your current customers.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Please note though that they continued to have poor communication up until today (Sept 4th) when they reached out and scheduled for a replacement on September 11th, not the 7th as they said in their response to BBB. The date of installation will be a full 8 weeks after I submitted the warranty claim. I will never recommend Green Bean Battery to anyone.

      Submitted claim with proper pictures as requested. Got approved July 28, 2024 but since then no more communications. I reached out several times via email to check on the status. I have not heard back even one time. In their original approval email they stated that they had to check with the inventory team but now its been almost two weeks since their last correspondence. Green bean was great when purchasing the original battery, but their warranty team has been lackluster.

      In June 2022, I opted for Green Bean Battery to replace the hybrid battery in my 2005 Prius. The total cost, including a lifetime warranty, came to approximately $1,700.Two years later, in June 2024, the replacement battery failed. Following Green Bean's warranty process, I had the car diagnosed and submitted the required documentation. Despite their initial response confirming the need for a replacement, Green Bean unexpectedly demanded a $650 "co-pay," citing a "false error code".Seeking a second opinion, I had the car towed to a hybrid specialty shop. The technicians there suggested that Green ****** request for additional payment was unwarranted, as this appeared to be a straightforward case of hybrid battery failure.Over the past 10 days, my attempts to contact Green Bean through various channels have been unsuccessful. I've sent texts, emails, and even spent over 2 hours on hold with their warranty department, all to no avail. This ***** contrast in responsiveness compared to their prompt service during the initial installation is concerning.Given my experience, I would caution potential customers to consider alternative options for hybrid battery replacement. The company's apparent lack of follow-through on their warranty commitments and unresponsiveness to customer inquiries raises serious questions about their lack of ethical business practices and customer service.

      Green bean battery replaced the hybrid battery of my ****** prius a few years ago. The battery failed about a couple weeks ago. I contacted green bean battery and they said the warranty was approved about a week ago. Since then, I have send emails, called severals times and sent several text messages to ask when they will come replace my battery but no response; my text messages are being completely ignored . I am without a car right now and need my battery to be replaced as soon as possible so that I can use my car

      My husband and I own a ****** Camry hybrid and we have the lifetime battery warranty with green bean battery. Two months ago our battery stopped working. We submitted a claim to Green bean battery. We received email confirmation after many weeks of submitting the claim. I will include the email below. In this email, a representative reached out to let us know that our claim had been approved and that they were processing where to go to get our new replacement battery. It has been several weeks and we have not been able to get in touch with anyone to find out any status of our claim. We are in desperate need of a vehicle. And I am reaching out to hopefully get someones help resolve this process and receive our new replacement battery as soon as possible. I appreciate any help you can provide.       Thank you. I am not satisfied with this response because there is no concrete timeline given to resolve. We have relied on your service for such an instance. We have not received the confidence that this matter will be resolved. We are in a position now to purchase a new vehicle because this has taken so long and there is no end in sight.       The battery was replaced on July 31 2024. My car was still working when they came to replace the hybrid battery. The proper testing was not done before they left. They told it was. I had worked real late the night before so I went back to bed when they were done. The next day August 1st 2024 when I got in my car to go to work all the warning/error codes were still on and the car wouldn't start. I put it on the diagnostic computer and it came up as the hybrid battery being bad. I tried all week to contact them and couldn't get through to anyone. The only way I was able to talk with anyone was through the chat option on their website. Ive been told by them over and over someone would contact me but never was. I goylt several automated emails saying I'd get a response in no less than 72 hrs and that time came and went days ago and there still has been no response.

      Date of transaction - April 7th 2023 Amount paid - $1,390.57 I purchased a refurbished hybrid ****** Prius battery as well as a 3 year warranty from Green Bean Battery. I had to pay $200 for the car to be diagnosed by a repair shop before I was able to purchase the battery. A few weeks later my car was having the same problem. I had to have another diagnostic done before Green Bean would approve my warranty claim. They responded quickly and replaced the battery under the warranty. On July 16th 2024 my vehicle started showing signs of the same problem. I again paid over $200 to get it diagnosed in order for Green Bean to approve warranty claim. My claim was approved by Green Bean but I never heard back from them to schedule the installation. I reached out via email and they said that there is currently a high demand on their batteries but that they would reach out in 72 hours to update me and schedule me. I never received a follow up email. When I try to call the number they have online nobody answers the phone. It had been 2 weeks since my claim was approved and I had heard nothing from them so texted a number they had listed on their website and was told that someone would reach out that following Monday or Tuesday and I never heard from anybody. I texted that number again and they gave me number to contact about warranties via text and said they would forward my message to them. I sent it to them myself as well and have continued to hear nothing from them at all. I have been without a working vehicle for two and a half weeks. To replace the battery with ****** would cost me $4,000 to over $5,000 so I would much rather Green Bean fix it for free under the warranty I paid for.

      I purchased a car from a friend that purchased a green bean hybrid battery for it and it had a lifetime warranty. I was able to transfer it to me. The battery stopped working on 7-11-24. I immediately reached out to them by phone, email and text message. I havent received any response. It has now been 8 days. When I couldnt get through to the warranty department I called the sales department and got straight through. They said they could not help me and said they would send an email to the warranty department and they should get back to me within 72 hours.. At this point I dont know how long its going to take for them to respond and then once they respond how much longer Ill have to wait to replace the battery.

      I purchased a GreenBean battery on 7/8/19 for $1549 under a Premium Full 5 Year Warranty. On 7/6/24 I filed a warranty claim which was accepted under #WRNTY00059063. GB said that they would notify me of a date for the car to be serviced. My communication with the company, via calls, texts and emails this past week has been unfruitful. I do not expect overnight service, however, it is highly unprofessional to not provide customers with an approximate timeline for service. As of 7/12/24 I have no idea when my car will be serviced and my fear is that GreenBean will fail to honor the warranty given that the 5-year deadline approaches on 7/19/24.

      June 2022: Received prompt, excellent service from Green Bean in getting a replacement battery in my 2012 Prius C. *** hybrid battery worked well until it started to fail late May 2024. ************** confirmed cell failure. Recent engagement has been negative in its responsiveness compared to my 2022 experience w/ this company.June 5: Initial email to Green Bean to file my warranty claim. I included all documents needed for warranty.June 11. Emailed to follow up if the claim was valid. Also sent a text to ************ for statues & to confirm receipt of messages. June 12: Got text confirming that my claim was received via email and they are working on processing ASAP. June 14: Received email: the claim was approved and is under warranty, waiting on inventory team and installer in the area. ***y said they are experiencing higher than expected volume, have increased production to match the demand, it will take some time, and they have gotten management involved.June 14: I sent message to reassure that change of address clearly noted.June 16: I emailed & texted with current address & asked for any updates. I explained that I had an upcoming out of state medical appointment for which I needed reliable transportation. I needed to know if the battery replacement would will be done on time so that I could use my own car. No response from Green Bean, which required me to rent a car.As of July 3, 2024 which is 17 days since my last inquiry, still no response. My Prius is no longer safe to drive; it is on limp mode due to battery failure.I understand the fluctuation of availability, installers, & other conditions. However, Green Bean failed to communicate effectively. Regardless of how long it would take, I am respectfully requesting a realistic timeline as to when anyone can assist me. I used to be impressed by Green Bean and recommended them to other hybrid users, but their current lack of clear correspondence and service delay are what prompted this complaint.
