      Absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with. After having a defective window installed a year ago, I filed a warranty claim. Since that time, I have gotten nothing but a runaround. Twice they scheduled a date for replacement, then said that the replacement window was defective also and would have to reschedule after the windows were produced. Then I heard nothing and could not get a response to my emails and phone messages for several months. Eventually I did reach someone in the warranty department, and I gave her my claim tracking number. She looked it up and told me that it was inactive but that she would reactivate it. After that call I again heard nothing for several weeks. Again, I reached another person who told me they were changing to a new tracking system and that my claim did not transfer but that he would fix that and I would get an email later that afternoon with a new tracking number. Waited a week, no email. Called again and reached another person who hung up on me as soon as she heard my name. I'm sorry that my builder installed Cascade windows when the house was built and saddled me with these fraudsters. If I could give a negative star rating, I would.

      We had a few windows and sliding doors installed with Brock in July 2023. The installer installed the window upside down in the master bathroom and there was a lot of leakage of water coming through from the rain and damaged our walls. A couple of months later after numerous full phone calls the window got replaced correctly, but I am still going back-and-forth to have them compensate me for the damages. Needless to say, the service has been absolutely pathetic. It’s now December and I have no idea what the status is. I would never deal with Brock Windows to replace my other windows. ** *********

      We have been trying to get the someone from Cascade to come out and replace 1 window that has failed **. This is now the 2nd window that has gone bad. The first one we paid nearly $800 to replace it out of pocket. After realizing that we still had a warranty, we reached out to Cascade/Cornerstone and have only gotten the run around with *****. She keeps changing our dates after giving us date options. They dont communicate in a timely manner. This is one of those companies that waits for you to give up and stop calling. They need to be put out of business. Its unfortunate the hoops you have to jump through now days. Lazy *************** needs to go!

      I'm writing to formally complain about Simonton Windows a subsidiary of Plygem/Cornerstone Building Brands. I filed a complaint with this company a year ago about a failing Simonton sliding glass door where the rubber around the glass was peeling away. After months of emails and calls we reached a financial agreement where they would issue a check. A contract was signed and a check was to be issued within 30 days. Seven months after the contract was signed and after numerous emails and phone calls, I still have not received a check. Judging by the poor reviews, this company does not stand behind their warranty and has no intention of ever doing so.********

      ****** ** Mitten Siding Products
      Back in 2017, I bought the Mitten ****** ***** siding product. My decision was influenced by the fact that their brochures claim lifetime colour fade protection and are certified for colour retention by the Vinyl Siding Institute. However, after just five years, the grey colour started to streak, which was disappointing.
      My general contractor reached out to the Mitten store where he purchased the siding, and they directed him to file a claim on their website to the Mitten Warranty Team – ******* * *** **** **** *** ****** I filed the claim and was later asked to send them samples of my siding in January 2023. A third-party certified spectrophotometer tested these. The result came back with 2.69 and 3.16 Hunter units, which did not meet the 4 Hunter units threshold and, hence, not covered by the warranty.
      I resubmitted a new sample in October 2023, taken from the same side of the house as the initial ones, plus photos. Surprisingly, the results showed 0.99 and 1.98 units, raising concerns about the reliability of their testing methods. The results should have been worse, considering the October sample was in worse conditions.
      I am disappointed with Mitten’s siding warranty, which appears questionable at best. I would advise ********* ****** ** ****** of the Mitten ******  siding product and their warranty claims.

      cases it was determined that the discolouration to your siding was not caused
      by abnormal fading, but rather by foreign contamination.



      As outlined in our warranty documentation, this type of fading may occur when
      cleaning is not regularly carried out as prescribed. Vinyl siding can be
      affected by both a lack of cleaning and the use of cleaning agents not covered
      within the Mitten Warranty. Unapproved cleaners and unconventional cleaning
      methods may damage the surface of the siding, and we encourage our customers to
      follow the recommended cleaning guidelines for optimal results and a
      long-lasting appearance.



      We understand your disappointment with the outcome, and we want to assure you
      that we take all customer concerns seriously. We strive to uphold the highest
      standards in both our products and customer service, and we regret that your

      Windows/doors ordered in April 2022, completed installation of windows August 2023 I cancelled the remaining doors. Very disorganized, ************ horrific customer service. Expectation never met! Windows/doors misplaced, arrived damaged, wrong glass installed in two windows.       (Case PG1827363)I am writing to file a formal complaint against Silverline ************************************************ a subsidiary of Cornerstone Building Brands. My complaint arises from their failure to honor their warranty and their unprofessional conduct, which has led to significant financial and emotional distress.I purchased Silverline windows for my new construction home, attracted by their advertised lifetime warranty. Despite two separate inspections confirming a 100% failure rate of the installed windows, the company has not taken adequate steps to replace these faulty windows.While the warranty explicitly excludes installation costs, ************ law prevents excessive burden on consumers to redeem a warranty. In my case, the cost to transport, install, and dispose of the replacement windows would exceed $15,000 which is an unreasonable financial burden that contradicts ************ consumer protection laws.Adding to my dissatisfaction, 57 replacement windows were sent to a local ********** without my consent or prior consultation. This has created an undue financial and logistical burden on me, as I have no means to transport these windows from ********** to my home, nor the resources to store them. Furthermore, I have not been provided with a solution for installing the new windows or disposing of the old ones. I have been calling Silverline for the last 8 days with no returned phone call. Immediate scheduling of installation of the replacement windows at no additional cost to me.Written confirmation that the replacement windows are free from the defects that plagued the original set.Assurance that any future issues will be promptly addressed in accordance with the warranty.I am deeply dissatisfied with the lack of responsiveness and the failure to resolve these pressing issues. I have attached all relevant documentation, including inspection reports and correspondence with the company, to substantiate my claims.************

      I have been working over 6 months to get a warranty on one of their windows. I have left numerous voicemail with no return calls. I asked to talk to a supervisor and they act the same as their employees. By the other reviews it's not just isolated situation it's the way this company does business.

      I wish I could put into words the disgusting way this company has treated my townhouse community. Their products are absolute garbage - and good luck ever getting a warranty repair. Id seriously rather use Saran Wrap for windows.

      I ordered 7 windows from Brock. The original time from the order to the initial delivery was pretty quick.... I ordered them March 27 2023 and they came over May 5th to install them. 5 of the 7 windows fit properly. The crew installing them were excellent. ***** ********* ****.
      Unfortunately the other two windows were 6" too short. So Brock informed me that they would do a rush order and get the 2 last windows installed ASAP
      I finally got them installed on Aug 11th 2023 - 3 months later!
      During that time, I would call Brock to inquire about the status of my order. The one person told me in June the order was there and they would call me back with an installation date. Call never came. I followed up a few times and every time I called I kept getting voicemail. I even called the sales guy I was dealing with named Rob and got his voicemail. I asked if the company went out of business. No response from Brock for weeks. I called on July 26th and got voicemail again. So I turned off my callerID on my phone and called back, and low and behold someone answered!
      The windows are nice. The installers were great. Very thorough and cleaned up after themselves.
      Waiting 3 months for them to fix the mistake they made was not great. I was holding off ordering window coverings until all my windows were installed... I went 3 months over the summer with no window coverings. It was quite the inconvenience.
