      Ive been receiving an invoice for 6 months without any communication response from GFL. They came out to pickup my trash in many months ago and the can was blocked by a truck.       When *** took over for *** in Feb. 2022 my bill went up. They refused to fix it. I tried to cancel and they said I was under contract. Forward to Dec. 2024 I called and said I simply could not pay the amount, could I pause or go to once a month. Finally I was able to speak to ******** ******. So they stopped my garbage until I could catch up with the bills. I called ask asked if they were still going to charge me during those months and was told no. So on Feb. 25th I paid down to a zero balance, and put it on autopayment and my service was restarted by ***** *****. Fast forward to May 5th and *** tried to auto debit two transactions, one almost $700 and the other $14. The one close to $700 didn't go through. I called and ***** ******* contacted me and told me the autopay had been not working for a few months and as soon as I got down to a zero balance I could start it up again. So apparently they backdated over $300 the end of Februry for the months I didn't have service. I was able to work several times to pay ****** ****** to pay current bills so that my debit card would not be in system. I also told her I didn't understand the extra $300 so she sent ******** ****** an email that I wanted them removed. ******** ****** called and insisted he could not remove them as I was under contract. I told him I never signed a contract with *** and he INSISTED that the *** contract was still in effect. I asked to speak to a manager but he would not let me and said he would send me the contract. Never got contract so the next time I paid ****** I told her and asked again for a manager. ******** *. called me a few days later and said the he could offer me half of the $300 and a new 36 month contract for less money. I said I wanted him to email me the contract that he had been INSISTING is still enforceable. When I got the contract it confirmed the $31.87 permanent change, but GFL is charging me $88.13, double admin fee, environmental of the higher amount.

      My trash has not been collected in over a month. Keep getting told it will be handled and still nothing.

      I received a quarterly statement from *** on April 22nd for the June - August quarter of garbage pickup. I had already decided that I was going to switch to a different service because GFL is pretty expensive and occasionally doesn't pick up my garbage. So instead of paying the statement, I sent them an email on April 28th requesting they close my account. May 22nd I receive a *Past Due* letter. I printed out the email from 4/28 and attached that to the past due notice and mailed it back to them. Today, June 16th I receive a letter from a collection agency. The day I requested they close my account I moved to another garbage service who has been picking my garbage up May 5th. *** has not picked my garbage up since April yet they want to turn me over me over to a collection agency for a service they are no longer providing to me.

      SERVICE WAS CANCELLED EFFECTIVE 10/31/24. *** HAS TURNED THE ACCOUNT OVER TO COLLECTION AGENCY FOR AN UNPAID BALANCE DUE FOR NOV 24, THROUGH JAN 25. ACCORDING TO NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS TO GFL, THIS IS A BILLING ERROR ON THEIR PART, AND THE ACCOUNT BALANCE SHOWS ZERO. HOWEVER, THEY REFUSE TO CONTACT THE COLLECTION AGENCY AND INFORM THEM OF THIS. THE COLLECTION AGENCY HAS BEEN CALLING REPEATEDLY FOR SEVERAL MONTHS TRYING TO COLLECT A BALANCE THAT ISN'T DUE. GFL KEEPS TELLING ME THEY "WILL TAKE CARE OF THE MATTER" AND LET THE COLLECTION AGENCY KNOW, BUT THEY HAVE NOT DONE SO YET. THE ACCOUNT BALANCE HAS BEEN ZERO SINCE 10/31/24, YET HERE WE ARE IN JUNE AND COLLECTION AGENCY IS CALLING ME SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR HELP IN RESOLVING THIS MATTER, AS IT APPEARS GFL IS NOT GOING TO.

      I paid GFL $91 in April 20 ***************************************************************************************************************************** on July 31 I need help because I have have to hire a new trash Service.       We moved to ************ in early in June of 2025 and set up GFL as out garbage and recycling services. After receiving our trash cans the company never came to pick up our trash on the scheduled pick up day. Called the company and they said a truck would be out the next day, that truck never showed. This went on for weeks of them saying a truck would be there the following day and not showing up. The same thing with the recycling services. We had to bring our trash and recycling to the dump our selves. The primary issue was them saying a driver was tasked the next day to be at our house when that simply was not the case. We called and canceled our service due to this and have been waiting for our refund since approximately July 2024. It is June 2025. I have called multiple times throught this timeframe and no one will issue the refund. They have a policy (along the lines of) it takes 12 weeks to process the return, I have been told more than 3 times this and that I would have it after that time frame. I am no longer going to be patient with this incompetent company.

      I called gfl to let them know I was changing banks that I needed to update my banking info and was told to make the changes on the online portal which I did. But they continued to withdraw from my old account which produced 3 *** charges of ***** each .I have spoken to ***** from gfl financial office@************** weekly since end of April 2025. I have asked to speak with supervisor and told no she will pass message on. I have been told her supervisor was busy till end of day so I called back the falling day and was told her supervisor was on a leave of absence till end of May . During this time I threatened to go public and ***** spoke with supervisors' supervisor and I finally was told I was getting the 3 *** charges reimbursed as I had auto pay set up on my account . My regular payment came out on April 1 2025 of $46.63 and then may 5 , $96.63 and May 6 another $****** came out of my account at this time I cancelled auto pay. I have gotten nowhere About the 2 extra withdrawls in May . ***** called may 5 to tell me I would be receiving the 1***** from NSF as it wasn't my error . But a possible glitch in the system but I said what about the extra charges that came out and she said she would check into it .And the following day ,May 6 another ****** came out . May 12 I called and asked about my money as that money I had for my dog's surgery on May 15. Was told once again would forward message to supervisor i have called weekly .we are now in June and I am extremely frustrated. I live paycheck to paycheck I need those funds returned.I have sent a pictureto ***** of my bank account with the 3 withdrawals April $46.63 May 5 $96.63 May 6 $******

      On 8/21/24, we paid $279.75 for a year's service for garbage removal. The entire amount was paid in full at the time. On 6/10/25, I received a bill for $9.38. When GFL was called (spoke with ******), I was told their prices increased in January so I'm responsible for the additional $9.38. When a contract is made and paid in full, how can a company increase their prices whenever and how often they want and expect the consumer to pay? Their prices have already doubled in price since they took over and it doesn't seem like they should be able to do this whenever they want. When my year is due again in September, a rate increase would be expected (but pretty crappy) at that time. NOT when the year was already paid for in advance. This may seem like a minimal amount of money to some but the economy and those of us just trying to make ends meet, shouldn't have to deal with this. Thank you for your time.

      I pay for weekly trash and recycling pickup. *** has repeatedly failed to collect one or the other and has failed to credit my account for the missed pickups. I have contacted *** almost weekly for the past three months, and almost daily for the past week. Supervisors never return my call; rescheduled pickups never materialize. I am requesting reimbursement for all the missed pickups.
