      I moved into ****************************************************************** on December 21 2024. I set up my weekly trash and recycling service with *** (spoke to Summer on the phone) on 12/23. I paid $89.34 for my 1st quarter of service. Confirmation number: *********** January, GFL came onto my property and took my trash and recycle bins with no notice. I emailed them and they said it was an error and I had to wait until the next collection day to get my bins back. I had to store my trash and recycling in my garage for a week due to their error.GFL returns the bins and then posts an invoice for $90 to my account. I called and told them I paid for my 1st quarter already. They said the invoice was an error and no money would be deducted from my account. I called Summer to double checked because I setup autopay through my GFL customer portal and did not want the $90 to be auto drafted. She said it would not be drafted from my account.*** drafted the $90 from my account anyway and told me it will take a month to a month and a half for the refund to post to my bank account. I find this unacceptable. I would like my $90 ****** a customer, I did everything right. I set up and paid for my service, created an account on their portal and signed up for auto pay. I feel like I'm being punished for doing the right thing. I just want my $90 back in a reasonable timeframe, 2-3 business days.

      GFL is a locally run waste management program. In August 2024 I wrote check #**** for a years garbage removal from my home on ****************************. In December *** dropped its contract to our area. We were not notified. Our empty cans were removed. In January a new local waste management company picked up the contract. Of course they demanded payment immediately. So I did. I called GFL. They had changed number. They are in business but only serving city of *******. On February 1, I received a check for $22 from GFL with No explanation. On check: **********************************************. No phone # or email. I feel I deserve a full refund for months not served. ******** *****

      They have not picked up my trash in 4 weeks, then I received a bill in the mail that is showing a higher bill, I called and informed them that I never signed a contract with them I pay monthly. They have not picked up my trash and I need a refund because they have not picked up trash for the whole month of January. They did end up picking up the trash, and I was informed that it would take 3 to 4 weeks before I would receive my refund. I received a bill stating that I would be charged for the removal dumpster fee. They already broke the contract that I do not have with them for not picking up my trash. I would like for them to refund the month of January when they did not pick up the trash and to remove the dumpster pick up fee.

      *** bought out or previous trash company a few years ago. Unfortunately, they're unreliable. Several times (including last week) they've simply failed to pick up our trash at all with no explanation or notice. Our house is now full of an extra week's worth of trash that won't fit in the receptacle because they've (again) failed to do the one (1) thing they are paid to do.

      Canceled service and then keeps sending bills after account was paid. Sending notices that your past due and never received a prior bill. Then claim that they charge over $45 to come pick up the trash can they provided. This company is unethical in this sense

      GFL repossessed my garbage can 2/6/2025. when we called customer service, a representative advised that our account was cancelled on 1/9/2025. We were never advised of this. Whats odd is a payment of $96.00 was paid to GFL when the invoice was received on 1/16/2025. After this payment they continued to pick up our garbage for almost 3 weeks. Now today *** decided to repossess our garbage can. I find the way a disabled veteran of the United States military is being treated is horrible. When we requested to pay the year in advance just to keep from having to deal with this, a payment option was not provided and we were basically left high and dry. Again, our account was paid and it still states on the company website as active and up to date. When we inquired about veterans discounts, the representative Gave an Email address to forward my id and offered to reduce the anual big $10.00. Now we are being forced to pay a redeliver fee for another can. In addition, have to pay the year in advance. However, the representative never provided a payment link, an option to pay and seemed eager to get me off the phone than to give one call resolution for this issue. This company service is horrible.

      I canceled *** at the end of a service period due to them being consistently days late picking up trash. My bill was paid in full. Upon canceling, I was told to leave my can at the curb for retrieval. The can stayed out on the curb for two weeks and I had to continually go get it out from the roadway as it would blow out into the street. I called numerous times to have them come get it. After they finally picked it up I received a bill on January 10th 2025 for $47.71 which stated FEE for residential cart removal. This fee was NEVER disclosed. This is a hidden fee and I was never informed of this fee, and want my account zeroed out. I do not owe them a single *****.

      This company is responsible for the dumpster and trash pick up at *************** condominiums *******, ********. We have had a contract with them for over four years. We are a private property and have two dumpsters with this company. They are always late picking up the trash and the dumpsters are in horrible shape. One of the dumpsters has not had a top on it in over two years. Our management company has continue to ask them to replace the Garbage dumpster but they wont. The trash dumpster now has rodents inside of the garbage cans.I am planning to call the city and file a complaint if you are thinking about hiring this company do not do so. They have a terrible rating everywhere. I have enclose photos where we have rodent f**** I wont be going to the local news company to have them to come out to see how awful this is and just to let you know the property I live on is absolutely beautiful. Its a waterfront property. We have never had problems before this company came along.The reviews for this Company or horrible

      My daughter created an account for myself at the beginning of January 2025. My wife and I are disabled persons and sent a doctors letter to confirm that we are disabled in order to receive backdoor services. As of February 3, 2025. Our trash has not been picked up once my daughter has called five times with no resolution, has sent a Web message through the portal with no resolution. Multiple complaints have been filed with no return call. The ***resentatives now state that the trash cart must be visible from the road. They have stated this is their policy that was not sent to us. They claim they sent it to us but upon checking, the email was entered incorrectly by their ***resentative. This policy was not expressed when services were started. as stated, we are disabled persons, and we should be receiving back door services which means they come to our door to pick up the trash cart whether or not you can see the cart from the road shouldnt matter if we are paying for the services. I have requested callbacks from leadership to no avail. I requested a refund which the *** said that she could not provide for me until she got approval from operations.

      Trash has not been collected down our road in a month, despite paying the company. *** has created a monopoly against rural trash services and misleads customers into signing up for their ********************. Our local trash drop off has more than doubled in price since they moved into our area. As a disabled veteran, I am disappointed that there are companies taking advantage of its rural consumers.
