      Absolutely trash company. Over billing customers. Buyer beware. find a different trash company before ever signing up with this literal dumpster fire of a company.

      GFL charged me over $100for my trash can, for starters. Others dont do that.They consistently miss the pickup on the designated day, so my husband has to put all our garbage bags in his truck to get rid of it. The holidays are the worst. We call and ask what the days are for holiday pick up, they tell us x date, we take our trash can down, and NO pickup. Worst is that we pay 2 months in advance for their service, then when they dont pick up as we have paid them to do, we cancel and they refuse to give me a refund. How do companies get away with this???

      should be 0 star. missed pick up 2x and never called or texted . No make up day either if they miss you're route. very bad service . stay away from them.

      On a Wednesday they came into our fence backyard un announced to take our cans! They said it was a mistake and they will deliver the can on Friday. I have no words. They are the only garbage company in our area. So unfortunate for us.

      If I could give GFL Environmental zero stars, I would. ****, the so-called supervisor, is the epitome of unprofessionalism. His crew hit my fence and, instead of taking responsibility like any reputable company would, they tried to sweep it under the rug. When I called it out, **** came out personallynot with a professional fencing company, mind youand performed a laughable excuse for a repair. It was sloppy, unacceptable, and frankly insulting.When I pointed out just how bad his fix was, he assured me hed return to make it right. Unsurprisingly, he never showed up. Instead, **** decided to involve my HOAan organization that doesnt live in my neighborhood, didnt pay for my fence, didnt install it, and has absolutely no role in its maintenance. Allegedly, they told him the shoddy repair was fine, and **** used this irrelevant opinion as an excuse to walk away from the mess his crew caused.This level of negligence and deflection is absolutely disgusting. Joeys lack of professionalism and accountability reflects terribly on GFL Environmental. If this is the kind of leadership they employ, its no wonder their standards are nonexistent. Avoid this company at all costs unless you enjoy dealing with careless, unethical behavior and supervisors who think dishonesty is an acceptable way to do business.

      **** increasing cost without any notification. When I called about the increased cost, customer service told they would lower it. When paid what was agreed upon, they added the cost that was supposed to be taken off to the next bill (also increasing the bill again without any explanation or notification.) Sent a billing e-mail statement that was due on the same day. Not only was there billing issues but also not picking up on schedule times. There was times where they would send out an automated message the end of the day when they were supposed to pick up to leave it out. Then would pick up the next day or 5 days later.

      Today 12/30/24 I called about our recycle not being picked up for the second week in a row. Being in an ************** not a strict one but an HOA regardless. We put our trash and recycle out on Thursday night 12/26/24 just in case they did pickup on Friday our scheduled day. But with the holiday they were on a one day delay. Did not want the bin at the curb on Sunday due to the storms and high winds in our area. Called today to find out if they were picking up recycle today. The young lady on the phone could not tell me if and when they would be in the community and put the recycle bin back out. So at 8:30am I take the recycle bin to the curb, and lo and behold they had already come ******* I call back to complain and all I hear is sorry. Sorry is not acceptable!!!! In my 70 years of being on this earth I have worked for Atlantic Disposal in ** and *** in N.C. if a customer is missed due to a miss communication we always sent a truck out to pick up their can ASAP, we did not give them the run around, Or a SORRY!Now just an FYI we have only had GFL for less then 7 weeks as we just moved into our home.NOT HAPPY WITH GFL CUSTOMER SERVICE OR PICK UP SERVICE.If we did not pre pay for 3 months they could come pick up our cans and we would go with a different company. And based on the reviews, we can forget a refund if we drop our service ******** now researching for a different company to service our needs when what time we have paid for is complete.

I am writing to bring to your attention a recurring issue with the waste collection service at my residence. Recently, I have noticed that after the trash is collected, there is often a significant amount of garbage left scattered around my garbage can. This not only creates an unsightly mess but also poses health and environmental concerns.I kindly request that your team takes more care in ensuring that all trash is properly collected and that the area around the garbage can is left clean.       Only have one pick up per week always run a day behind when its a holiday and then they dont pick up plus they have NO BULK pick at all. They are the worst

      They skip our house and dont pick up our trash even though we pay them on time
