Selling a house and buying a new house was stressful enough! I was so glad that I decided to use Packrat to help me with my move! If I used the traditional route of getting a Uhaul, I would have to load it up (1), taking it to a storage area (2) unload it, then when I was ready for my move reload a truck (3), go to my new house and unload it into my house (4) . That means I would have to do 2x as much loading and unloading! In addition using Packrat, you have to load it only having a small 4" step up, instead of 2-4' climb up a ramp (if you truck has one). Also I find driving a big truck to be stressful. With Packrat, I had none of that! If I did the traditional route, I would have had to hire people to help me, with Packrat, I was able to load it myself (even at 60 years with an autoimmune disorder) so I know it was packed right. The inside bars allowed me to secure my loads.I found Packrat's steel containers stronger than the wood based container companies. I also told Packrat about my other quotes and they matched the quote and also gave me a couple of extra days (on top of the month). So it was the least stressful part of my move! I was also so pleased that NONE of my things were broken in the process!Their 16' containers are big and strong... my only wish would be for them to get 20' containers.

We had a good experience with Pack-Rat. The driver dropped off our container, made sure we had a lock, and then left us to get packing. We arranged to have it picked up a few days later, after we had left, and neighbors assured us the pickup went smoothly. The container was brought to ************** for storage, and shortly after we closed, it was dropped off at our new location. We only needed a few days to unload it, and it was picked up in time so we didn't have to pay for a month's rent. I have to agree a larger container would have been helpful, but all in all, this move went very smoothly. The drivers were great, and we had no issues with customer service.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

Competitive pricing and very straight forward and super easy to work with. Timing was spot in and the employees all very pleasant and knowledgeable. You actually talk to a real live person! We had to access our pod before it was delivered and they made that so easy also.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

A neighbor used this moving company. As they drove by our house the lady driving the truck ran off the road and ran over our trash cans. Knocking then over. She looked in her rear view mirror and kept driving.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

Great experience with packrat. They had the best price for the same container, and delivery time. The container was dropped off on the schedule date. The driver was careful in placing the container. It was clean and ready to be loaded. The pick up driver called before arrival and was picked up on time. I was able to reschedule the delivery earlier than previously selected dates and was able to pick up a date so that it's off the driveway soon. Strongly recommend.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

I just want to give the best rating I could give for 1 800 pac rat! From the time I contacted them for a quote to the delivery and pickup of the container, was the BEST experience I had. Any and all questions were answered and great price! The delivery driver was very professional and did a great job! Not one piece of our belongings damaged! There customer service was stellar! Someone called me as each step was completed. Great job **** pac rat!! I will use u again! And Word of mouth is one of the best forms of advertising!!1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

This company employs bait and switch tactics. I was told a large container would more than accommodate my two bedroom house. They even said the large container would accommodate a 3-4 bedroom house. It turns out large is only 16 feet. Reputable companies like U-Haul, Penske, and Budget recommend a 20 foot truck for a two bedroom house. When the unit was delivered, I said my stuff wouldn't fit & even though I had to wait a week for the 1st container, they could send another container out immediately. The customer service was horrible with agents arguing with me over how much stuff I had. By the way, I had 1 bedroom set, couch, coffee table, 4 end tables, kitchen table, 5 bookcases, & about 40 tubs. That's it. Do a ****** search and read the reviews. I wish I had before I booked them. I was also sent an estimate for $1600, but was charged $1700. And nowhere was it mentioned that I would have to pay an additional storage fee of $400 for the first month. Because my "anniversary date" was 2 days before the delivery date, they said they would also charge me another month's rent even though it was only 2 extra days.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

Very super experience!! I moved from ******* to ************** , two pods. Guys were great. They communicated very well, found my place ( dirt road, no street signs, New build area) . The online team was great in keeping me informed. It is a good company.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC

On point every step of the way, Trip was from ******* to ********** Made my drop off date Changed my drop off date with no issues They called to confirm the day before and also when 10 minutes away.Dropped off on time.Picked up on time with verification calls.Delivered my container on the day it was arranged.I called to have them pick up my empty container early instead of the scheduled day, they accommodated me no problems.Side Note: Nothing was damaged or moved the container was literally the same as when it left *******. But we did a great packing job and made sure every item was secured. I would use them again in a heartbeat.1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC
