      My experience with Pack Rat was awesome. They delivered my container exactly when they said they would. Got it loaded that day and it was supposed to be picked up the next day. However, the office and driver called and asked how it went and I said we were all set. Then they asked if I wanted it picked up that day...sure! The driver was on his way back to the warehouse with an empty truck and picked it up on the way. They also delivered it on time and when they said they'd be there. Again, the driver was awesome and worked some magic it get the container in a location for easy unloading in a very tight spot...it was the 16 footer. They picked it up the next day, no problems at all. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews/complaints. Maybe because they're in different parts of the country but the hub that serviced my area seems to be pretty good. No complaints at all. I'd recommend them for the upstate NY/Albany area and surrounding points such as Vermont. They were cheaper than the other similar services and met all of our needs and were on time, in constant communication with us, and very pleasant. Like I said, we had a great experience and am unsure why there are as many "bad" experiences.

      Right on time. Communicative. The driver kept me informed as to what time the container was going to be dropped off, and he was right on time. Will do business again, and recommend to others.

      The four drivers that we had were absolutely amazing. We were in an apartment in a tough spot but the first driver was super sweet and worked with us on figuring out the best way to park the container. The 2nd guy picking it up was amazing and super sweet. The lady dropping the container off at our house (once it was ready) also had to maneuver because all of the neighbors had parked on the road that day, but she did amazing!!! Even managed to stay off of the grass. The last guy that picked up our container was really nice and I had explain to him that I wasn't gonna be able to be there but if he had any issues to let me know, and I would reschedule. He was able to get the container and didn't damage our driveway or any other cars around us. All of our stuff was packed pretty tight into the container. We packed like they suggested and didn't have any issues.

      We recently used the services of Pack Rat to store our garage items while the floor was being repaired. Their customer service from beginning to end was exemplary. The drop off driver/facilitator as well as the pick-up driver/facilitator we’re courteous, friendly, on time, etc. The whole experience was great and if the need arises we would not hesitate to call Pack Rat.

      I contacted with pack rat to move my container from Georgia to New Mexico for $3120.00. They required $500.00 deposit then 328.00 rental fee when they delivered on 8/28/22-9/28/22. Picked up container 9/20/22 to transport to New Mexico, immediately. I was charged $2597.00 day after pick up for transportation now there saying I owe another 328.00 for storage in Georgia, and I will owe 348.00 for storage in New Mexico? Unless I pay $328.00 for storage in Ga, they will deny me access to my belongings in New Mexico!!! Very SHADY!!! Should have stayed with ****!!!!

      Run and don’t look back! I put my stuff in a cube on 9/8/22 and was supposed to get delivery 9/24. The never called! I called and they said it had not left the original place yet. “They had a problem with a forklift” Well get another or rent one. So I was again promised they would deliver by two supervisors. I waited for the call and nothing, so I called them. I was told I was switched to the next day. Nobody had the sense to inform me. I had movers coming to unload both times. Had to reschedule twice. Still waiting to see if it arrives tomorrow as promised. Don’t trust them with your stuff!

      I received my cube on 10/2/22. Nine days late. I was able to reschedule my movers. Then Pack Rat charged me $295 for having the cube for a month. By then it was comical. I called and they did refund the money, but I had to wait 3 to 5 business days. Then I talked to a rep named Ian who was really great. He offered me $500 for all the problems and issues, which was equitable. I have received both amounts. Then I also talked to another business rep named ******, who offered another $250 for the miscommunication with the quote in the beginning of it all. So they did put their money where their mouth is and I am pleased. She understood that communication was my main issue with them and she said she will take it to upper management. They could not have done any more.

      Currently dealing with Zippy Shell, they have completely made our cross country move even more stressful than it already is. We purchased a 7x7x16 container, which was supposed to be delivered to our house, we paid extra to have movers load our items into the container and haul off cross country. The sales rep ****** who signed me up made it sound so simple. No.
      Container was “scheduled” to be delivered Saturday 9/24/22, we were blown off by zippy shell and their 3rd party moving companies until 9/26/22. What they sold us is not what we got. Movers came today in a small ****** truck, which we already told them we needed enough for a 3 bedroom home. Movers had to take one load, drive an hour to where zippy shell’s facility is, and then come back to take another. The movers loaded our items into what looks like a mesh shell, not a storage container as advertised on their site. The movers left our nice sofa pillows on top of the shell, while they headed back to get the 2nd load. Unsecured, just laying on top there for anyone to take. One of the movers even took a crap in our toilet and left it all stained.
      I could go on and on about how much zippy shell and their 3rd party movers sucks, but I think you get the idea. They’re all nice in the beginning to get you signed up, after that it’s a complete mess. This place is a joke, listen to the negative reviews- I wish I did!

      I highly doubt your apology is authentic, just a generic response. Nothing has been made right and we’re still dealing with this nightmare of a move.

      This company is horrible. Without question the worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not do business with this company! They absolutely do not deserve 1 star. They are quick to sell you a container deal, but from that point forward, you are on your own because their Customer Service is a sham, non-existent. When you call to talk to Customer service, they have a script. They tell you what you want to hear but, it seems, are NOT trained to actually work to solve your concern. Oftentimes, my concerns had to do with the pick-up or delivery of the container. The customer service person sticks to a script and never was able to answer my questions or provide help. On multiple phone calIs I asked to talk with a person at a warehouse where the containers are shipped from and stored. They could NEVER contact that person. They will always tell you that they sent him/her an email and are waiting for a reply. They often will tell you that they have requested for that person to call me directly. THIS WILL NEVER happen. On three occasions when they placed me on hold, allegedly trying to direct me to a supervisor or warehouse contact, they hung up. Then, when you call back (after waiting on hold forever) it is a new person, and you must start all over again. Our closing date for our house sale was 7/20/22. The new owners would take possession the same afternoon. It was scheduled online 4 weeks in advance of that day. I called 2 days prior, and 1 day prior to confirm that the container would be removed the morning of 7/20/22. On both occasions, I was assured that it would be picked up on-time. At 10:19am on 7/20/22, I received a text informing me that the container pick up was rescheduled to 7/22/22. No phone call. The reason provided in the text was that "one of our local trucks broke down". The driveway was blocked for the new owners for 48 hours. When I called to complain, they stuck to the script. Their business model drives revenue with no concern for the customer.
