We never have anything covered. Whats the point of paying thousands of dollars on a warranty when they wont pay for anything when it goes wrong. When there is finally something they cover they only covered half. Causing us to still pay thousands out of pocket. We have been disappointed with this service for a while. We will never be buying this warranty again.National Truck Protection Co., Inc.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration and would like to address your concerns regarding the coverage provided by your vehicle service contract with National Truck Protection. You have had a vehicle service contract with us since June 2023 and have filed three claims during this period. Here is a detailed review of each claim:Claim CL11211208 (10/18/2023): This claim was for a NOx sensor. Unfortunately, the repairs were completed prior to obtaining our authorization, as required by the terms of the vehicle service contract. Despite our efforts to validate the repair, we did not receive the proper documentation to do so.Claim CL1139365 (03/25/2024): This claim was for an electronic clutch actuator and starter. Both of these items are non-covered components under your vehicle service contract, so we were unable to provide coverage for this claim.Claim CL11491573 (06/10/2024): This most recent claim was for a NOx sensor and an exhaust manifold. For the NOx sensor, we approved the NOx sensor price based on our National Fleet Account Price. The shop should adjust their estimate to this amount, and you should not be charged the difference in this part price. If you are charged, please consult with the shop. Additionally, the shop charged for 10.3 hours for all of the work completed in Job 2 of the servicers estimate. However, the only coverable portion of that job was 4.5 hours, according to nationally recognized labor times from Mitchell1 for the NOx sensor, to which appropriate labor was authorized and paid. For the exhaust manifold, we covered the part price based on our National Fleet Account pricing. The shop will adjust the amount, and you should not be charged the difference. If you are charged, please consult with the shop. We paid all the associated labor hours and charges.Per your *************** Contract, the following items are non-covered components: the fuel filter and fuel/water separator, and repair of broken bolts.Additionally, per the vehicle service contract, the following charges are specifically excluded: shop supply fees and core charges. We strive to provide comprehensive coverage and support to our customers and regret that your experience has not met your expectations. If you have any further questions or need clarification on your coverage, please feel free to contact us directly. We value your business and are here to assist you.Review fromDennis D

This is the worst company and warranty I have ever experienced. I spent $9,000 to get the best protection that exist to protect my truck and when it brakes down my transmission they dont want to cover it. They have made every excuse in the book even though we have evidence from the ***** dealer that its an internal issue and NTP will not cover me. I am left stranded without the ability to pay for my truck to get repaired not even a partial coverage! And BEWARE they ask the ***** dealer to take apart the transmission and asked them to do things which is labor cost only to deny me and now they also dont want to pay for the labor cost of the ***** dealer work. This is ROBBERY! They take advantage do the small guy and leave you stranded out for dead because they already collected the 9k. Its basically a donation for no coverage stay away from this company. I need an attorney to represent me.National Truck Protection Co., Inc.

As we explained to ************ based on the **Service report completed by ****** the cause of the transmission failure was identified as a lack of lubrication, which caused the transmission to overheat and resulted in a catastrophic failure of the transmission gears.According to the vehicle service contract, Section IV. LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS:"A. WHAT THIS AGREEMENT DOES NOT COVER,This Agreement applies only to Breakdowns occurring within ****** or the ************************, its possessions and territories. It does not provide coverage for:...4. A Breakdown caused by or contributed to by operating the Vehicle without proper levels or specification (type) fluids, lubricants, coolants, or using improper or contaminated fluids."Therefore, the cause of failure falls under this exclusion in the vehicle service contract, and we regrettably must deny the claim.Regarding the diagnostic charges, the vehicle service contract clearly states that all diagnostic charges are the customer's responsibility unless the claim is approved. Since this claim was denied, all diagnostic charges are the responsibility of the customer as outlined in Section V. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IF YOU HAVE A BREAKDOWN:"In the event of a Breakdown, You must:...5. Notify the Repairer that Your Vehicle carries a service contract or extended warranty through Us. Authorize the Repairer to perform necessary diagnostic work. You will be required to pay the costs of diagnostics if the Mechanical Breakdown is not covered by this Agreement. On approved claims, a fair and reasonable diagnostic charge, unless otherwise stated, will be included as determined by the Authorized Administrator."We understand ************** frustration and apologize for the inconvenience this situation may have caused.Review fromDavid J

The most horrible experience I have ever had with a claims adjuster. I had many questions about a claim approval. I wanted to know what was specifically covered and how much, because what was not covered only totaled up to 101 dollars. I had a balance of 700, which does not include my deductible. I spoke to many representatives that were kind and patient, which told me some similar things however, they could not tell me exactly where the 700 was coming from. It was suggested that I speak with they adjuster who approved the claim. So I have been calling. This man ***************************, knew I was calling and refused my calls and messages. He did not call me back. Representatives told someone would call me back, no one ever did. So after 1 week of calling, I finally spoke with him. From the moment he got on the phone his attitude was absolutely appalling, unprofessional, and ugly. He didn't want to hear my concerns, take time to explain, he put the phone down while I was speaking, and hung up in my face. Wow! This is NTP customer service!National Truck Protection Co., Inc.

I filed a claim days ago regarding an issue with my after treatment system. The freightliner dealership here in ************* didnt follow the correct procedures for diagnosis and NTP ended up denying my original claim due to lack of proof from the dealership regarding the issue I was having. The person in charge of my claim was ***************************, and all I can say about ****************** is that hes extremely professional and understanding, this man knows what hes doing and what hes talking about. He pretty much requested the dealership to diagnose this truck the proper way, and it was found that the after treatment problem was due to an upstream issue with the turbo, which caused the secondary damage in the after treatment DPF. Not only ****************** was understanding about this whole situation, but he for days followed up and was able to come to a resolution for me. All I can say is thank you for having such great people like ****************** going over these problems. He has definitely gotten 5 stars from me.National Truck Protection Co., Inc.
