Want to improve your health?? Don't buy from Swanson. I used this company's products for years. Never saw benefit. Then they double charged me for part of my order and after about 50 attempts to correct it, they didn't. It's the same inept no help every single time you try--even with a supervisor. Aside from not correcting overcharging a customer, they also do not care about customer retention. Swanson literally offers the WORST service I have seen in my life.Swanson Health Products, Inc.

Boy, has Swanson customer service and reliability gone down. I've probably been ordering through them for a good 10, 12 years, but will never do so again based upon recent experiences. They used to be a good, reliable company, but they aren't any more. I have placed two orders with them in the last two weeks. The first time, the website glitched and I had to physically call customer service and give them my credit card number to get the order to go through. Got the confirmation email after that, but no other communications and no order came. I emailed customer service with the email they had sent confirming the order and with the order number after a week asking where it was, and got no reply. There hadn't actually been a charge to the card, so I figured it was just a glitch. Yesterday I placed the same order again. This time it went through, confirmation email, but there isn't even a way to verify the order to see that it's in process. There used to be. Highly disappointed, and I absolutely do NOT recommend Swanson unless they change back to previous practices, including being able to check order status. Piping Rock is better. now than Swanson They'll get most of my business from now on.Swanson Health Products, Inc.

Recently I had a order about $65 cancelled for not meeting their "Order Acceptance Policy". When I called in to find out why my order was cancelled, the customer service representative could not tell me. They said I would receive a phone call and email within the next 24-48 hours. I never received any call or email, then I called them again, I was promised they would call me next day but never happened. A lot of companies would send an survey email to their customers to get customers feed back, but this company never does that. They treat their customers very badly. It is some of the most pathetic customer service I have ever encountered. To promise a customer to follow up and then not follow up is not acceptable. I have filled my cancelled order from other sources. I am done with Swanson.Swanson Health Products, Inc.

First I would like to apologize for the lack of communication. I am unable to find an account for you with the information provided. I would really like to be able to view your account along with any notes. When we send emails that an order is being canceled due to our "Order Acceptance Policy", it is because of inconsistent information or not being able to obtain authorization from the credit card company. Carrier surcharge is a joke. I've always had free shipping (if I've ordered the required amount). I'm ordering NOTHING more than what I've ordered before. Now they're tacking on "carrier surcharge" . . . for what? Overweight. A lie. Unusual destination? Same address. A lie. Very disappointed. I apologize for any confusion and frustration regarding the carrier surcharge. I can confirm that the $5.99 Standard Shipping fee is waived on orders that are $50+, but the additional carrier surcharge will still be applied to these orders. While fuel costs have started to decrease, we continue to see increased shipping costs. In these situations, Swansons is collecting a surcharge to pay the additional fees charged by the carrier. This was the correspondence with the customer about their declined CC. I am happy to help and apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, we do not have ability to re-run cards when they are declined so we do require the numbers again to attempt the order to go through. We require this by phone call for security purposes and your security rather than over chat or email. I forwarded your feedback to the appropriate department for further review. 4 starsSwanson has good products. Lately, products are shipped and arrive more promptly. Problem is that they say free shipping, and they charge $1.79. This practice should end right now. They should say $1.79 shipping on all orders above $50. That would be truthful. Their explanation is roundabout and makes no sense. They should stop this deceptive practice.Review fromR. B.

I had been doing business with Swanson for 10 years when suddenly I had 3 orders cancelled for not meeting their "Order Acceptance Policy". When I called in to find out why my orders were cancelled, the customer service representative could not tell me. They said they would put me in touch with an account specialist and I would receive a phone call and email within the next 24-48 hours. I never received any call or email. I have spent a career in customer support and this is some of the most pathetic customer service I have ever encountered. To promise a customer to follow up and then not follow up is not acceptable. Russell's account was compromised because the fraudsters were able to guess his password. There were no security breaches to data or our security on the website at all, the consumer's account was accessed by guessing the password. Two fraud orders were placed but got caught and canceled by our other security measures. Those security measures remained in effect when he went to place his own orders, which resulted in the cancelation. The email request was sent by us, and we explained what he needed to do and that we will allow orders with PayPal as payment.
Additional information:@ONEVEMAIL.COM is a known fraud domain because the fraud person would take the first part of the hacked account email address and only change the domain to be that.
I have removed the hold on Russell's account. PLEASE advise him to change his password to something more secure. If he has any problems please have him contact us directly.

The "fraudulent orders" were placed and cancelled Dec. 12. I received no notification at that time. I placed an order on Jan. 4 and I received an email notification Jan. 5, 15 hours later, that my order had been cancelled. Because of the other confirmation emails, I did not notice that cancellation email. I placed another order on Jan. 11. and 90 minutes later I received email notification that my order had been cancelled. When I called Swanson customer service number in the email, they would not tell me why my order was cancelled but offered to take another form of payment. It was only when I responded to their cancellation email informing them that I purchased the products elsewhere and would no longer do business with them that they replied that my account had been compromised. NOTE: This has only happened with Swanson. My PayPal statements don't show any fraudulent purchases and I never received any email from PayPal about that one. PayPal emails about EVERY transaction. Sloppy operations and poor security procedures on the part of Swanson, no matter how you slice it.Review fromRobert B

5 starsI've never had any major issues with Swanson and have been purchasing from them for decades. If there was an issue it was minor and resolved quickly. Majority of these times had to do with tracking and beyond their control.What I like about them is their customer service and that they have all major quality brands in one place and backed by them. You can do reviews as well and choose what you want, knowing they not only back their branded label, but all products that they sell on their platform. What I noticed here reading complaints were all related to shipping and auto reorders. I used to get frustrated and blame until I learned to read and understand processes. I trust this company more than any other. You know what your getting and not just pur chasing blind.Review fromLori S
