  I am writing a review so that hopefully this will be seen to prevent others from making the mistake of borrowing from this "company." DO NOT DO IT!!!!! If this helps stop even one person... well, that's not enough. I hope to stop multiple people. In February 2021 I was desperate to find last minute funds to pay my rent. I googled and came across MaxLend. I borrowed $825 (I still have the emails). By time I was done paying in October of 2021, I paid back $3,612.79. I still have all the texts from the bi-weekly payments. I added them all up and was sick to my stomach once again. And every 2 weeks, the remaining balance only went down less than $10. It was painful h*** paying $206.52 every 2 weeks, for 8 months, and barely making a dent. I still have ALL the texts showing payments made and the remaining balances. Once I paid it off, I told myself, "no matter how desperate I am, I will NEVER do that again." Thousands wasted that I'll never get back. THOUSANDS.

  Keep in mind, you were never obligated to keep the loan for the entire duration of its term, and in addition to keeping with your regularly scheduled payment and amounts there were two (2) additional repayment options available to you. At any point in time, you could have (1) pay off the loan early with no prepayment penalties to save on interest, or (2) you also had the option to make additional payments toward the principal balance, which would have also save on interest and shorten the life of the loan.

  This information is also located in your loan documents.We sincerely hope you will consider MaxLend again in the future.   I like em. They are what they advertise and get me money fast. It is not ideal long term low percentage loan but works when I need it. Great support and very fast with getting me money that I pay back quickly to delay some brokeness or have extra cash for events

  Maxlend has been a big help for me for the last year and a half. They have been there when no one else was. I have only bad credit from a horrific car accident when I was in my early 20's and no family or assets. They are really nice people and the loan process is as easy as it gets.   Find another lender!!! Maxlend deserves negative star ratings. They told me I was pre-approved for a loan (and I did successfully get a loan from this company several years ago). Then they made me go through an embarrassing 3-way call with my bank to "verify" banking information. The bank officer refused to give them information but said she would be glad to talk to me alone. Then this loan company promised that the loan would be approved if I sent a pdf copy of my last bank statement and a pdf of my driver's license. I did that only to get another email from them saying that information wasn't adequate. At that point, after several hours and numerous phone calls with them, I called back one more time to cancel my application with them. They still could not explain what happened to their promise that I would get a loan.

  Find another lender this one is damaged .. put money wrong account after verifying my account .. then said I have to wait 3 days to get it.. while charging me .. net credit is better..

  Ive been working with MaxLend for years, and as a Platinum Level member, I can honestly say theyve been a reliable resource when I needed quick cash. Theyve always worked with me, and I truly appreciate their straightforward process and willingness to help when traditional lenders wont.The key to using MaxLend is understanding what youre getting into. These are not conventional loans, and they arent designed for long-term borrowing. The interest rates are high, but thats the tradeoff for accessibility and speed when banks wont lend. If you take out a loan and stretch the payments over several months, youre going to pay a lot in interestthats just the nature of these types of loans.For me, MaxLend has been a lifesaver in situations where I needed cash to get to the next payday. If you take out $1,000, pay it back in a week or two, and understand that youll pay $50 to $150 in fees, its totally worth it for the convenience and flexibility they provide. Theyre not meant to be your first option, but theyre absolutely clutch when you need them.I love MaxLend and will continue to use them when the need arises. Theyve earned my trust, and Im grateful for their support over the years.

  A complete ripoff. Been making payments and it hasnt touched the loan amount. Sad they as taking advantage of people that needed a little help. How are they allowed to stay in business. Shame on them for praying and making such a huge profit off people who are already having a hard time. Never again !!!! Just ridiculous

  The representative on the phone said I would be making monthly payments.. Instead, they started taking weekly payments out of my bank account. I never saw a contract or loan agreement at that time, nor did they disclose that the interest rate was 400% or more. I've been making payments, now totaling more than the original loan and my balance keeps going up, not down.If they had been honest and upfront, and not so deceptive, I nor anyone else would ever use their services. No wonder they are so evasive and dishonest!

  Loan sharks. This should be illegal. Make it sound fine on the phone low payments done in a few months but rush you through the process over the phone to sign the email document. In what universe should a $400 loan end up costing over $2200 in 6 months? Thought it was weird that when I looked at my payments, only a few dollars were actually going to the loan. This is an absolute scam. I try to pay it off since the one thing they DID tell me is that I wont owe a ***** more if I pay off the loan early, no more finance charge no more interest. Funny how the make a payment button on the website doesnt seem to work so that I can do that. Took $400 out in early Nov. 2024. Ive made 9 payments of ***** (weekly) and *** paid $555.57 but my principal balance is still at $333.48. The current balance doesnt even match the chart they have on the same page showing that my principal should be lower. They have lied and are taking as much money as they can without actually giving the opportunity for me to pay it off.
