      This company is the worst. No response from this company. I have tried to contact nelnet. I can't log into my account can't reset with there codes given. Went through all channels they have available. All I need is my account number to repay my loans. But instead they have give no correspondence. Just reporting to credit agencies. Ruining my credit.

      Customer service is absolutely useless. They only copy and paste pre-written responses over and over again. Impossible to get a real answer or information from anyone. I got switched from Great Lakes, which was much better. I wish we had some control over this. Nelnet needs to be shut down.

      What a scam. My account was supposed to be moved from Great Lakes to this place. Have never received emails on account transfer and set up. Now I cannot get into my account, no one answers emails, or calls. If people start getting their credit dinged and added interest now that payments are no longer frozen, then criminal action should be taken against this company.

      The communication with Nelnet was outrageously poor. I called several times, had extremely long wait times. I emailed and attempted online correspondence but never received a response at all. One of my payments was declined by Nelnet and I needed help to make sure the payment went through next time...but was completely unable to get ahold of anyone or get help. Even when I am trying to pay them, there is no help.
      They need to be investigated. Something as important and sensitive as federal loans need to be handled with care and access to customer service.

      This company is awful. They only get 1 star because i couldn't give zero stars. I have repeatedly asked my payment type to be changed since last September with no response back. I finally sat on hold for an hour and a half in the beginning of Dec. When I finally got in touch with an actual person, I was assured that it would be adjusted within a week and it's still not done. I'm not sure what to do anymore. Please someone look into this company as they are not doing what they are supposed to be doing to take care of their customers. They should be put out of business.

      This is the least reputable company. This lamentable organization purchased my student loan debt during the pandemic from Great Lakes. They denied my application for any repayment options for my loan. They split my loan into "AA" and "AB" to make it confusing. Setting up automatic repayment was perplexing and didn't process properly, resulting in late payments and additional accrued interest. I had to call for assistance, and the representative had no answers to any of my basic questions about my account. They deserve to go bankrupt.

      I have had to call Nelnet so many times (each time having to wait for extended times). After an agent assured me that they had set up automatic payments on my account, I started getting emails saying that I'd missed payments, I called and found out that auto-payments cannot be set up over the phone; I have to do that on my own. So, I set up auto-payments online (with email confirmation), and AGAIN, I received emails saying that I've missed payment. So, I'm on the phone again.

      Predatory lending. My student loan payments have doubled. I have not been able to speak to a person.
