  Unable to make a payment on their website, due to a persistent error on their ‘’make a payment” page. When I call, it says my account doesn’t exist, even though I enter my account # listed on the website. Have been unable to speak to a human being.

  Negative stars from me! This company tees me off. It's extortionist, mismanaged, uncommunicatable and hostile to its borrowers. It has a long history of corruption, lawlessness and nepotism going back to 1993. It's misplaced and mishandled my loan documents and now I have not been able to call anyone for over 2 months regarding my statements. I don't even trust sending in payments anymore because I can't be sure where the money is going. They've overcharged me with interest and ruined my credit report. Avoid this company at all costs! Transfer your loans and seek legal counsel immediately! Call your state political representatives. This company will surely get a third class action lawsuit in the near future!

  I would give zero stars if given the option. My loans have recently changed from an amazing greats lakes team to nelnet. This is the third time I have attempted to contact someone via phone from nelnet post transfer of loans and have waited a minimum of 2 hours to speak with someone about my loans and have had to hang up each time prior to speaking with someone. There is no update on your wait time, no option to be put in a queue for a call back, NOTHING!!!!! You just wait for your upon hours! I cannot use the online platform or chat box to answer the question I need. This is absolutely atrocious and I miss my old student loan server. I will be looking to see if a different company will buy out this loan ASAP!

  I have been on hold for one hour and 50 minutes at this point. My loan is due and cannot even get a live person. This is the worst company. The really sad thing is this was not my original loan servicer. The last time I called a couple of months ago I had the same issue. The funny thing is they keeping getting more people.

  Terrible company. Long hold times. No direct answers. They always direct you back to student aid (Dept of Education) I tried for months for them to correct information and I was given in correct information. They’re suppose to follow the directions of the US Department of education. They do not!!

  I try yo go online, I am immediately prompted to cal as a first time payer. My first phone call, I am greeted with an obnoxious telephone prompt then a 70+ Minute wait time. Which I will be collecting documentation.
  It is quite obvious that they do not want to create efficiency in collecting their owed income in attempts to increase the debt that is owed via late payments or default.

  The government was wrong for issuing the student debt to this company. They do not have the website ready for payment. The phones are not working and I have been trying for over a month now. Great Lakes took phone payments and card payments over the phone with no problem. Nelnet “IS NOT” ready for the job. Remember no payment means more interest for the consumer. Thanks Joe Biden elections are coming!

  This website NEVER works. It's slow and a lot of the times out of service. I can't ever properly login to pay my bill. I do not recommend anyone use them if they don't have to for student loans. I've had to reset my password over 1 5+ times each and every time I try to make a payment. Please share this with the company. This needs to be fixed ASAP. We cannot spend this long for one payment.

  They are billing me and I am an active student. They make it where you cannot get ahold to them. I am an active student. The loans they have are active student loans and shouldn't be owed until I graduate or drop out! Why am I explaining their job?? No one calls you back! No one emails you back! no one mails you back.

  No net is truly an awful company. I’ve been on hold for two hours and a half. I really don’t think there is anybody there. Why should I spend almost 3 hours waiting for somebody to pick up the phone? Terrible company terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Wish I could switch.
