      Nelnet subcontractd into sloan Servicing and it has been the most sketchy experience ever. First, the Sloan email link went to a dead website. When I tried to find the Sloan website independent of the email, it didn't work. Then someone claiming they are from Sloan called and asked for my personal information, which I did not give them. Now three weeks later, the website and link are working, but it is not allowing me to find my account so that I can pay. This is ridiculous.

      Staffed entirely by idiots. IDR application pending since January of 2024. Moronic outreach staff. Incorrect payment calculation.

      Slow, stupid, and subhuman workers. End this company.

      Worst service i have ever encountered. Set up automatic payments since I don't want to deal with their broken login system, but guess what. This months payment didn't auto pay so now they are refusing to allow password recovery to work properly so they can get away with charging me a late fee for a bill that should of paid itself on time. I would vote for any senator that went after them legally with congress.

      I can never log in, or change my log in info to make a payment. How in the world is this possible. So many ppl complaining about this company that triple payments, and log in doesn’t even if you wanted to pay. Please shut this business down!

      They have been nothing but trouble since acquiring Great Lakes. Their customer service is a joke. We have attempted to pay multiple times and they keep not taking payments, saying they will fix things and don’t and leaving me to pay the fees left in their wake. Now they say they can do nothing to help me. This after months of not even being able to access my account because their login system would crash out and not accept passwords properly. Trash company and very sketchy business going on.

      Cant give zero stars or would. For years have been dealing with Nelnet who recently went thru a realignment with Sloan serving which has totally been breakdown in client ability to access website or reach and keep any phone calls connected, if they even answer. Have not been able to access website, due to being in down status. Have waited for 45 minutes at times for call to immediately hang up, or if lucky enough to get someone to answer the call is very crackles and pauses. There have been times half way thru verification call disconnects. I can express enough my frustration, they have reported to my credit report agency with negative information that is disputed and needs removed and get the ability to communicate what happened to my account and why after years of paying this has happened.

      On 8/20 I submitted 4-$50 payments to my loans. They recorded 2-$50. I chatted, emailed and called and finally a nice person went thru it all and simply said upload my bank statement and attach it to my email case file so it can be handled and all will be good. If I could get her back I would try more…

      Now all they do is say call us - call us. I spent 54 min on the phone and already went thru this all and uploaded my bank statements as instructed.

      They just don’t want to work. Or record the full $200 my bank sent and Im stuck paying more interest on. Read the reviews they are lacking ability. And should be shut down. Great Lakes loan was amazing, this has been so stressful.

      One of the worst student loan lenders in the entire world! I put a stop on my payments because I can't afford them and guess who keeps taking them out NELNET! They have no empathy at all and can never do anything to resolve an issue! Horrible customer service and no help to people who have actual rela life problems. It's sickening how people can work for this organization. Not one care in the world oh well nothing we can do call your bank ! The bank charges each time to stop a payment! I can't even afford what I have like really.

      Absolute dog shit website. Constantly telling me the password is wrong or "sorry there has been a problem. I set up auto pay then when the student loan hold went into place it stopped my auto pay. I never said I wanted to stop it. It's like they want you to start missing payments so, you can get charged late fees once the payments restart. When I tried to set up auto pay it would net let me select how much I wanted to pay, the only option was the minimum payment and I wanted to pay more. Honestly, any time I have to log onto this shit website I dread it because I know I am going to have issues.

      Nel Net refuses to respond to me. I can not get a response I want to restart from them. I want to restart my payments and get no response. Nel Net bought my loan from somebody else and refuses to tell me anything about my loan.
