1 starI was on the venue’s website wanting to purchase tickets to a concert they were having, expecting to be buying directly from venue & receiving tickets via email or text, I did not see until after transaction was complete that the price changed, there was no seat numbers & their was a shipping & handling. So I looked further into it and discovered that it was NOT the venue I intended to buy from! I immediately called the number not even 20 mins after transaction & was told I would get a refund, then I got an email saying refund was approved but was only refunded 21.00! I read that so many people never received tickets, or wrong seating area, or tickets didn’t even scan so I called the venue and they HAVE NO RECORD OF ME OR ANY TICKETS FOR ME! I will be writing to attorney general & also FTC. If I do not get refunded then I will be filing a lawsuit. If you were scammed out of more than 1,000 in some states that is a FELONY! So if anyone wants to file a class action lawsuit please, let’s get one started!Review fromJohn U

1 starBuyer beware!!! At the end of my ticket purchase, the sales rep spoke so fast I didnt understand him, but figured it was already the disclosed info we had talked about. It wasn't. I got my confirmation and there was a 30.5% transaction/service fee. I called back immedaitely to cancel the purhcase but want able to . The person even said they were having a lot of problems with people not understanding those fees added on. I understand service fee charges, but not at 30.5%Review fromRachel J

Horrible experience due to Box Office changing my seats and saying that the venue moved the seats! That was a lie according to the venue. My new seats were obstructed an obstructed view, which I never buy! I'm going to file a claim against them!Box Office Ticket Sales

We absolutely agree that the seller dropped the ball and did not disclose the Limited View Status of the alternate tickets. This is a SCAM, this company took 1,037.94 to purchase Usher ?? on Saturday, October 5, 2024. When I got the venue to enter to get my ticket scan it said invalid. We tried several times and the ticket wouldn't scan. Went American Airlines Center Box Office they scanned the ticket and same thing happened. When checked the tickets it was in another name. Tried calling Tickets Sales they were closed. I couldn't reach no one about this ticket I purchased. I called Sunday and Tickets Sales was full of BS, instead of them admitting fault in the matter they been given me a hard asking for documentation from American Airlines Center about proof that the ticket was invalid. I've sent so many emails and I'm taking it a step further with getting my money back.Box Office Ticket Sales

Box Office Ticket Sales is a resale marketplace. Every page of our website clearly states this, it also clearly states that tickets may exceed face value. Every customer including this one must agree to an itemization of all costs and fees prior to authorizing their purchase online. They do not make it clear up front that they are not the owners of the tickets they are selling, hence you pay way more than if you buy directly from the event. They can not give me seat assignments, so I'm not sure what I've got until I get to the event (they do give section and row, but not the seat). No hope of getting your money back as they have covered their bases in their disclaimers. When they pop up on your search engine, you should bypass them and look for other options.Box Office Ticket Sales

Beware of this company! Purchased two VIP tickets for Sammy Hagar in Noblesville IN back in December, Received invoice stating they were paid for and clearly stated VIP on the invoice. Several weeks ago I recieced the ticket transfer but nothing at all ona the VIP perks. I emailed and got no response the first time. Emailed again and was told I would recieve all the VIP info 48 hours before the show. Never received anything. Emailed again and was called back and was told they had made a mistake and never put in for the VIP (even though I paid for it) and now are sold out. I told her....I have an invoice showing I paid for VIP. How can this happen? No answer... She offered to refund the VIP portion. I told her the only reason we purchased these tickets was for the VIP experience. She all but said I was SOL... I even asked if there was any other perks they would offer to make up for thier huge mistake. I was told no! You can have a refund on the VIP part only and that's it! Stay far away from this company! My husband purchased a ticket on their website and it was sent with someone else’s name (the original buyer). This wasn’t completely unexpected since they are a reseller, but all other resellers we have dealt with will contact the ticket seller and have them transfer the ticket to the new buyer’s name. The venue that was having the concert said the ticket absolutely has to match the person’s ID. Box Office Ticket Sales does not answer the phone so all of my communication with them was via email.
The venue sent me instructions for transferring the ticket which I forwarded to Box Office Ticket Sales. However, they kept sending emails back to me saying it was a valid ticket and there was nothing they could do. I sent them all the information from the venue and they repeatedly told me the ticket was fine. Finally, about 20 emails later when I told them I would be filing a claim with my credit card and leaving a review on this website, they did contact the seller and had him transfer the ticket.
However, a few days before the show they sent another email saying something about how the e-ticket was no longer valid and he needed to show a QR code. And, yes, the new ticket with the QR code showed the original buyer’s name. What a joke.
My husband went to the venue anyway, and they told everyone in line that they had to show their ID along with their ticket. They checked the IDs of all the people in line in front of him but since he doesn’t look like he’s in his 20’s any more, they didn’t ask for his ID, and he was able to get in. But - if he was younger, he would not have been admitted. This whole experience was ridiculous and we will never do business with Box Office Ticket Sales again.Box Office Ticket Sales
