      Radiated meats. It's unhealthy at best. I would not recommend it for safety.

      Thank you for your feedback. All Omaha Steaks ground beef (both hamburgers and bulk ground beef) have been irradiated since October 2000 to ensure our ground beef is the safest available to purchase. Approved by the USDA, irradiation has been tested and used for decades to destroy harmful bacteria that can cause illness in food. Irradiation technology reduces the threat of dangerous bacteria that could potentially be present in ground beef, yet leaves the flavor, texture and juiciness you've come to expect from all Omaha Steaks products.       Delivery is horrible. The driver actually went to the bathroom on my property and delivered the cooler on its side. I tried to tell customer service so they would be aware and could file with shipping company. However, they said they couldn't locate the order. Will have to tell my family to use different company for gifts from now. Last year driver left the cooler in the middle of driveway.

      Even Google rated them at the bottom of the list of 10 mail order steak firms! Tge steaks are tiny, tasteless and tough and any local market will provide bigger, better beef fir much less money, even with their phonty 50% off sale!!!

      I only ordered twice as I was giving them a second chance. I am from Dallas, Texas, love my steaks here but wanted to try Omaha to see which is better…….Texas by far.

      Omaha Steaks promotes specials during this time of year and I received those snail mail, email, television, and social media. The offering was 89.99 and we order these as gifts for our employees. After placing the order I get a call from a young lady who was working from home (small child in the background). She began to explain to me that if I wanted these in 6 separate coolers the cost was 19.99 more per item and there would be additional shipping on top of that. I would have paid $130 per item. The deception was unnecessary.

      Placed an order where promotional items were missing. I was offered a $20 off coupon and told I should have noticed the item codes on the packages were different. The one online has the same name as what I ordered. And a different code now. My email has the correct items and same package name but different code online and the one attached to mine is attached to another package online with a different name and different items. They then basically told me its normal for them to recycle item numbers on packages, but then told me that I shouldve noticed that the item codes didnt match. I dont know why Im the one thats looking at item numbers instead of package names as consumer, but to make a point to what he just said, how do I know that the item package number I received in my email with the correct package name and correct items minus the promotional items Did not change after the black Friday deal ended and was put on another package and its still not there error ?? Basically im missing promotional items I was offered $20 off coupon instead and told it was probably my fault and I ordered the wrong one even though I can still see it online. I can still put it in my cart and I can still have the same eight free burgers, but they wont honor it and just ship them out to me. I filed a complaint as well and will update when I receive a response. Im very disappointed in how this is being handled in general, considering I had planned on ordering for myself as these two that we ordered were gifts. And to add my boyfriend ordered the same package for his family and he received his burgers.

      Received advertising in the mail that said 12 free burgers with my order but this was almost impossible to figure out. No code for the 12 free burgers and no explanation on how to get them with my order. I called and was on hold for 20 minutes and then the "trained representative" was unable to help or explain how to get the free burgers with my $139 order. Then I was hung up on....
      Turns out the only way to get the 12 free burgers with my order was to scan the QR code on the flyer and order that way! They sure make it hard to get the offer they promoted and their customer assistance sucks. Last time ordering for me.

      I got a coupon in the mail that offered $30 off and free shipping. Called to place an order and the rep on the phone said that is only available to first time customers. It says that nowhere on the coupon. It actually says you can use the coupon once a day per customer. Why send me the coupon if I can't use it. This was deceiving and really poor customer experience. I will never order from Omaha Steaks again (I've been a regular customer), and I will make sure my family and friends know of my experience.

      Yes a bit pricy. Beef/steaks are great and better be for the price! Rest I've tried was good. Custom service sucks!! Don't ask for the delayed Christmas delivery, they'll ship ahead anyway! Shouldn't offer it if they aren't going to honor it!!!
