      We were excited to try our Omaha Steak top sirloin steaks that came in our delivered box. The top sirloin steaks were terrible! They were tough & chewy. We haven’t had any of the other items from the box as the top sirloin was supposed to be the highlight. So far this has been a total rip off.

      We have been ordering Omaha steaks for gifts for all occasions for many of our family and friends for years we decided to try them ourselves…..big surprise……they were not good at all…..no taste….very tough……we used the seasoning and that didn’t help at all….the sides we’re totally tasteless and dry….we had potatoes augratin and tossed them at first bite desserts were bland and dry…..very dissatisfied……needless to say we will not be ordering any longer for ant reason…….the money we have spent is ridiculous……very sad as they are very expensive and not good at all.

      Just received my shipment of Omaha's "Classic Butcher's Collection" (Item #73316) containing:
      "Air chilled Boneless Chicken Breasts", Butcher's Cut Top Sirloin, PureGround Filet mignon Burgers, Boneless Pork Chops, Bacon-wrapped Filet Mignons, and Gourmet Jumbo Franks.
      We were anxious to try what we expected to be superior quality meats. Wrong!! We've tried three of the bunch so far and the Top Sirloin was tough and chewy. The chicken breast was tough and "crunchy". Absolutely the worst chicken breast we have ever had. The burgers were good.
      We wanted to test to see if they would be suitable for guests. With the exception of the burgers, not anywhere close. It will be interesting to test the rest of the litter, but we're off to a very bad start.

      Just had 3667 Beef tenderloin steak. This was one of the finest pieces of meat I have had in my life! Cooked on grill as suggested, almost able to cut with a fork.

      Called Omaha Steaks to let them know that we were disappointed with their steak order. They generously offered a coupon for $85.00 for future orders. When we placed another order, the web site would not accept the coupon. I called the customer service line and was told by the CSR that she would apply the coupon for me manually and would call me back when it was done. No call back came, and the order arrived with the full amount charged against my credit card. I called and spoke to a couple more supervisors in Customer Service and was ultimately told that $20.00 would be credited against my credit card and that $85.00 would be sent to me as a check. Neither happened. Got an e-mail this morning telling me that I still have a $105.00 coupon waiting for me to use. This is not how to run a railroad.

      I spent over $200 on my last order and I always order bistro steaks wrapped in bacon.They are no longer like they used to be no bacon and a gross piece of bistro steak tough as all get out. Bought chicken legs with thigh and they were discolored. Hawaiian porkchopss salty but I rinced them in hot water which helped. I need more meat and chicken but I think I will pass.

      I've shopped my meat with them for quite a while but this last order was a mess. Not a problem if they fixed it, replacing the wrong item with the one I ordered but they sent the same wrong item again. And when I complained again, their service rep said I was wrong. I didn't order what I said I ordered. Then they stopped communicating at all. Customer service is awful. Just rude and belligerent.

      Very disappointed with Omaha Steaks and our last order. Leg of Lamb was tough and gamey-tasting. The quality of the chicken breasts, hamburger patties, steaks were poor. The Lobster tail kebabs were nothing but shells with not enough Lobster to even scrape out. The only two items that were good were both desserts: Key Lime Tarts and Apple Caramel Tarts. All told, portions were very small on every item. Besides our own purchase, we received a family member's gift package and we ended up having a lot of subpar food to get rid of. Not pleased and will not be ordering again.

      Don't waste your money. Sam's or Costco offer a better quality and less expensive product.They also irradiate their meat. They use excellent marketing strategy. You will be disappointed. Buyer beware.

      I received a sampler box as a gift. Everything was still frozen solid when I received the shipment. However, when I thawed out some of the steaks 3 out of the 4 I received had turned. One of which smelled so bad I almost threw up. As the steaks had remained frozen throughout their travels, the blame can only be placed with Omaha Steaks’ inability to control the quality of their products. I will not be purchasing from them in the future.
