The company said they would help sell my timeshare that I don't want company said they have Excellent ratings on selling time shares.
That my timeshare would sell fast but it's now 8 months and nothing no one wants to buy the timeshare So the company said if you lower the cost maybe somebody would buy So that's what I did Every time I try to email them it comes back no email Exist And it says no company exists when I look them up I gave the company 3,000 to sell my timeshare I have 2 children to raise I need my money I just want help getting my money back if I can and reporting this company so that they never do this again to anyone else.Business Response

On 11/11/2022 we entered a agreement with this company to sell our Marriott timeshares
1 deeded week and 2000 points . The sales department instructed me on how much to list both for. After a extensive conversation and alot of convincing they would sell at a decent price point, I agreed to hire this company to sell them. attached is the contract which indicates I paid just about $6000 dollars. With full faith of the sales. At first their employees were answering my phone calls and inquiries as to why I had not heard a peep as far as a offer or purchase. The employees Sounded knowledgable enough . It has been almost 10 months now. they do not respond to customer care questions and i cannot get a return call . I do see many other bbb complaints of this company on your website, with situations exactly like mine. Looking for at least a refund. I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: [though i have spoken with SMTN recently. As mentioned previously, I have spoken with quite a few SMTN employees over the past year with absolutely no offers or sales., in essence NO RESULTS. They all indicate they will change the marketing and of course lower the price by more than 50% than was first told to me to list them for by their “experts”. Which is an obvious sales tactic to entice unsuspecting customers to list with SMTN. However; if this last person I spoke with yesterday comes up with any type of result sooner than later , I would be more than willing to let you know there was a resolution As of now this company still looks like, seems like, and smells like a scam and something should be done about it.must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. I paid a fee to sell my Wyndham timeshare. I was asked by my account representative what amount of US dollars I would like to sell 100% of my timeshare- I provided a number and then was put on hold to see if my asking price was in line with other sellers. My agent came back and said my number is reasonable and they should be able to sell my account. To date, I have not had a single offer and I have dropped our asking price by approximately 33% there was a second part I had to agree to advertise my sale request. I had to pay 12 months of maintenance fees in order to list my account. They said another part of the group will try and list our property for rent to reimburse the maintenance fees. It turns out these fees were never paid to Wyndham, so now my account is past due. If I do not get our account caught up immediately, they will not be able to pay me back any of the fees. I have to pay my maintenance fees each month or the fees I am paying a second time will not be reimbursed. It turns out my account has allegedly been sent to a collections company on June 11, 2023 but my account is still pending with the collection company, so can't pay Windham or the collection company. Both Wyndham and the collection company deny they have any capabilities to accept my payment.Business Response

We made an agreement with Sellmytimesharenow in Nov. of 2021. 1,500 dollars was paid to the company to advertise and sell our time share. We were told the computer estimated our time share would sell in 2-3 months. Also asking price should be 18,000. To this date we have not received one offer to buy or time share. I have done as the company suggested...have had the refreshed freq. Also have lowered the the asking price which is now down to 8,000. I have called the company multiple times over the last month to speak to someone about our money being refunded due to the fact that we have no had one offer since Nov. 2021. I have been told "the case is still open" and someone would be in touch. I told customer service I would be filing a complaint with the BBB if no one contacts me. I have given the company 2-3 weeks to reach out to us. Nothing...no phone call, letters or emails.
I feel that we were lied to. I am requesting our 1,500 dollars back. We have done what was ask of us, still not even one offer.

I reached out to Sale My Time Share Now (SMTN) in early April 2023 to sale the time share I had in Holly Lake, TX. Two weeks after I started the processes of listing my timeshare, I received word from HIVC that Holly Lake, TX would be sold in its entirety. There was no definitive time table set but HIVC offered to transfer my ownership to another resort. I hesitated to transfer ownership because I just listed my timeshare to sale with SMTN.
I reached out to SMTN to share the news and I was told they could transfer my listing to the new property. After a couple of days I decided I would give the new timeshare a try and reached out to SMTN to have the listing pulled and a refund issued. Keeping in mind, the time span for all this was within 3 weeks (early May 2023) of reaching out to SMTN. Since then I have repeatedly called/emailed SMTN requesting to know the status of bringing down the listing and issuing a refund. I have continued to be told several different times I would get a call back from a manager with 24/48 hours or that the manager need to discuss the issue in their next manager meeting. To date, I have never received a call back and have had to call into their number to speak with someone.
It is now July 20, 2023 and after I called and demanded to speak with a manager I was able to speak with Nicole as the previous manager (Mary) was not available. Once again, I was asked to provide the email I received from HIVC which I had already provide several times to Kareel, Nate, Ricardo , Mary and their customer care email (************@sellmytimesharenow.com).
I have wasted countless hours trying to receive my $4100 back for a service SMTN cannot provide. The shameful thing is that if one checks BBB you will see the same experience from several customers of SMTN since April 2023. I am not sure who is in charge of their customer experience but there is a pattern of deception from SMTN and lack of professional ethics.Business Response

I'm a 77-year-old man who recently suffered a stroke and a SellMytTimeshareNow representative got me to sign an Agreement to list my timeshares for sale, however I followed up with a e-mail cancellation with 24 hours. My wife contacted Ms. Erin H******, Executive Consultant as well via letter and phone. My wife was informed by Ms. Erin H****** during a phone that the $5996.00 amount they were charging me would be reimbursed, however this has not happened after more than 6 weeks, and Ms. H****** now does not take or return calls or requests to have in writing any confirmation regarding this cancelation and refund. We signed up with SMTN in July of 2022. During the initial phone call, we were given the impression that 90 days was the typical time on the market and that our asking price was reasonable and in line with other similar listings. We were also under the impression that the initial fee that they ask for up front was to cover the cost to transfer the title and to do all the paperwork with a third party company. As the months went by, we received zero offers from buyers. SMTN continually suggested adjusting the price. We agreed to a few price adjustments. Still, zero offers. After one of the price adjustment phone calls, SMTN failed to update our listing with the new agreed upon price and updated terms in the description, so for a few months, our advertisement sat without updated price/description and wasn’t refreshed to the top of the list. As our patience grew thin and our frustration started to mount we began asking questions regarding the latest market trends and wanted information on what had been sold in the last few months that was comparable to our listing. This is when we started to get the runaround. Nobody could give us the information, direct us to someone who could provide the information or even give us the impression that the information even existed. This is when we became very suspicious of this company and what we signed up for. Once we started asking these questions and requesting the info, they began avoiding us like the plague. To this day, we still have not received the information and anytime you try to call, one of 3 things happens….voicemail/no answer, someone tells you that you’ll get a call back in 24-48 hours or they start talking about “other departments” that they can’t specifically name or connect you to or tell you who is in charge of these “other departments” that they try to use as an excuse to avoid taking any accountability for what the customer is requesting. I received several emails stating that my timeshare is hot property on the resale market and I really wish we had it in our inventory of timeshares for sale. During my conversation with Sell My Timeshare Now company, they promised that I would have inquiries within 3-6 months. The agent read off the numbers of timeshares that were sold, timeshare sell prices, and how much traffic they get on their website from buyers. I was promised a money back guarantee if they can't see the timeshare. They worked with me to set the price to sell asap. The agent said it will sell quickly - within 3 - 6 months.
It sound like a really good company that had a lot of clients looking to purchase timeshare, so I paid $1998 to sell.
It been 11 months and not one inquire, After 3 months, I called for a refund and was told, only if I sell the timeshare at the same price I would get a refund.
Recently, I called and the agent said my advertisement wasn't updated and refeshed, so buyers weren't able to see it. She updated it showing my maintenance fee was paid for 2023, and she told me to lower the price of the timeshare. The price of the timeshare was lower.
This is a scam. This company lack of honesty and business ethics.
Here is part of the email I received:
it could be a very smart move to put your timeshare on the market now. We deliver more offers to timeshare owners than anyone else in the resale industry, and we have the numbers to back it up. Since 2019, our company has received over 140,000 offers for a total of over $709 million dollars to buy or rent timeshares. These offers are coming in every day and we need more timeshares in our inventory ASAP.
******, Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista is a hot property on the resale market and I really wish we had it in our inventory of timeshares for sale. If you're interested in getting your timeshare sold, call me right away at ###-###-#### Ext **** or just reply to this email.

I called the call back # ###-###-#### from the voice message from Friday, June 5, 2023 @ 11:07 am. They called again on Monday, June 2, 2023 @ 10:30am. I called them right back.@ 11:01 am.The representative asked me questions about my timeshare. I was surprised she didn't know this information or that the information wasn't documented so they can sell my timeshare. She offered to TRY to accelerate the sale by another means, asking brokers do they have any clients wanting to buy my Blue Tree timeshare. I didn't understand it because I thought that is what they were actively doing. It was another sale tactic - scam.
I requested a full refund. She said she will discuss it with management and get back to me. I am waiting for a call back regarding a resolution.

I spoke with Mary M***** and rejected the offer to refund me $599.00. I am requesting full refund because I didn't receive services that was promised. I send Ms. M***** the email stating that my timeshare was in demanded, and also told her during my conversation with SMTN, the person stated that I would be getting inquiries within 3-6 months, so I can accept or reject the offers. I purchased a timeshare at Westgate resorts in 2019 and the payments wouldn’t go down so I decided in February 2022 to try to sell my timeshare through sell my timeshare now and paid $2498.00 for selling it. Now, May 2023 still nothing and can’t reach the company and no calls. Try to call but get on hold or no answer. I would like a refund for the 2498.00. I believe I’ve been scammed.Business Response
