      Had choice home warranty for 5 years. Had my ******* refrigerator going bad and they decided to replace it. I paid $5000 for it and they offered me $818 after I paid the tech $85. The same model I have is offered by ***** and ********** but they said they only offer what they would buy it at wholesale. I told them to buy one for me at their cost. They said they dont do that. How can you buy it at that cost when nobody else can? Plus you just told me you dont appliances. They also said they would replace it with a fridge with same features and size. They could not find one either so they said they could only offer me $818. Total scam!Stay away from this company. You could tell that your going to get screwed when everyone on the phone sounds like they are from the hood!

      This place is a complete joke. Their **********s are shady and seem to not care. Ive been working on the same claim for 2 months. First two **********s gave us a scheduled timeframe of arrival between 8am-5pm. On both occasions neither showed up or bothered calling. Third ********** showed up, claiming the part was on back order and would complete the job a week later. 1 MONTH LATER, havent heard from company, called the **********s cell phone(owner of the company) its a dead number, called the business number its also shut off. Choice home warranty doesnt care about my claim, about anything getting done or having quality **********s to fix problems. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

      Their customer services *****, nobody takes calls for existing customers!! Youre forced to leave your phone number by an automated system then it hangs up on u and nobody ever calls you back. Maybe thats why they are so cheap in monthly price. My washer was to be replaced and we cant reach them .. my opinion pay more monthly for good customer service. And resolution to your problem

      They do not take accountability for their mistake. The ** unit went down on 06.06.25, and the tech came out on 06.13.25. I paid the part on 06.17.25. The tech went on 06.24.25 to pick up the ** unit to start working on 06.25.25. When he went to pick up the unit, the warranty company didn't place the order until 06.24.25. Now I will go another week without **, and it has been hot all month. So from 06.06.25 to 06.26.25, I still don't have **. You don't get assigned one rep, so when you call to check the status of the claim, you are always speaking to different people. I was with another warranty company and switched over to Choice Warranty, which was the biggest mistake I made. If I can give it no stars I would

      This company should be closed. After waiting a week to have a vendor assigned to fix my Air Conditioner which was not working at all in 90+ degree weather. As an senior couple it was affecting our health. I called a technician on my own who arrived in 3 hours time and fixed my ** system. I followed all the rules to have my claim covered by *** and they promptly denied it saying it wasn't covered as it WASN'T normal wear and tear. This makes no sense, the ** capacitor failed and we needed a new one. I called and canceled my plan. The person I spoke to me talked to me longer than anyone when I called about my problem. All they wanted to do was keep me spending more money and stay on their horrible plan. I explained if anyone on your team spent this much effort on fixing my ** and covering the cost I might still be a customer. They use any loophole to keep from paying a claim and providing service promptly.

      Choice warranty takes my $50 out every month. *** filed a complaint twice with no response. Now Ive lost my refrigerator.I want service or stop hitting my account

      This company is a scam, been in our home for a year, filed several claims and they purposely find a reason not to cover a system. They sent a plumber (wrong technician) out to check our pool and couldnt even admit it was their mistake. We are actually losing money on service fees and still having to find our own repair services!

      This business is NOT BBB accredited for good reason. I wouldn't leave even 1 star if I could. I got a 1 year home warranty when I bought a house thinking as things went wrong I would be covered. I found out very quickly that they have an excuse for everything so they don't have to pay!The 1st issue was for a clog in the sewer under my house which is supposed to be covered. The plumber they send didn't have a snake big enough to do the job so they said it wasn't covered. I was out ****** by now.The 2nd issue was my 30 year old Air Conditioner froze up. They said I needed a safety pan switch and that water damage wasn't covered. It's not normal wear and tear. My heating and cooling man told me theleak was caused due to low refridgerant and that **************** does not require a safety ********** I'm out 9****** and it's only been 3 months.I have a lot of other issues to fix but I won't even waste the ***** visits to the companies they have in their pockets just to deny the claims.Don't waste your money on this fraudulent company!

      Too many loopholes and phone calls without getting any thing done. Then was told to find a business that would resolve the issue and they would reimburse me. Waste of time and money.I just want to cancel.

      Got ahome warranty from choice warranty on 23 June 2025 found much better deal on 24 June 2025 sales transferred me to cancelations they ignored that I wanted the warranty canceled and tried to sell me a home security system, refusing to do only what I wanted done called them back after filing a complaint with my Discover Card and they kept dumping the calls.
